      Hey, Shereen, when you say "olive oil" in the skillet, per your video on using the right oils, you mean 'olive oil', not EVOO, correct?

    I deglaze the pan with the Sauvignon Blanc wine when you remove the chicken breast. It makes a difference. This is a great recipe

    Chicken piccata is a go to for me! Ol Chef John taught me how to make this one. His is the bar by which all chicken piccata is measured!

    I’ve been looking for new things to cook for dinner over the past few weeks, I will definitely be adding this to my roster. Is there anything I could substitute the shallot with if I can’t find any at my grocery store? I make your chicken Milanese all the time and it never disappoints! Thank you!

      Hi Carson, sure, 2 to 3 tablespoons minced sweet onion will work. So glad you hear you're enjoying the Milanese, I make that once a week too 🥰

    Wow.....I'm a little late to the Shereen game....but GIRL, you got Mediterranean Cuisine down!!! I'm a retired chef trained in classic French/ Italian cuisine ; not by school - but by working with and apprenticing with actual European chefs. Your recipes and techniques line up with what I was taught and what I do...like a razors edge...spot on.................thank you

    Thanks for explaining not breaking the sauce. I always thought it was not adding butter that wasn’t room temperature. I’ve had 60/40 success when making sauce like this and always wondered why!

    Hmm. I wonder if you could do it with fried chicken cutlets, and just make the sauce separately. The Chicken Milanese recipe could add a different texture.

    Never fyr in oilve oil because the flavour goes away when heated. Use a neutral oil like corn 🌽 or 🌻 instead. Piccata is double breaded with flour as she did but also with egg and breadcrumbs

    one advice if I may: don't put salt on chicken breast before cooking instead put it when you fry on the other side in that way they will stay moist in the middle
