Funny- for some reason when the taycan cross turismo was announced I searched to find out how much a Volvo 850 turbo wagon cost in 1996!

@@JankoLind I remember liking the 850 when it was new. Recently Ive started noticing them again - something about them that’s appealing. As for the taycan cross turismo, I know it’s probably uncool to say that this amongst Porsche nerds but I really do want one of these things!

Yes, the old ones were compatible but I believe Toyota is ranked as the safest car these days.

haha, that premier was a snoozefest - this is going to be par for the course with these EV's. There is zero excitement, zero soul with these cars. They are about as fun as a refrigerator to talk about. "it has 2 motors and a big battery" will be repeated over and over and over again...

Nja, I must admit and stand for it, the Taycan do have Porsche DNA with driving pleasure.

@@JankoLind No doubt the dynamics are what we expect and love, I just think the powertrain is what will make all EV options drive with completely the same character. Especially as they are more refined and they find the best solution and power delivery. I own an EV for a commuter but I will always have a 911 (or even a Cayman GT4/Spyder) for my fun car.
