@@Mompfried I mean that if you see a very good guitarist playing great, but still no way in the Gary’s Zone, you clearly understand how Gary is a Legend
I agree and understand your words, you are absolutely right! Gary Moore was so unique, he was the one and only. Nobody can play the level, feeling and the way Gary played!
He has had an amazing career. From Whitesnake to this blues stuff, he is a living legend. He also has one of the most famous and best sounding Les Paul guitars ever, the 1959 Standard known as "The Beast." It actually growls when he does bends on it. In his hands, it is amazing too.
Just played this in my apartment on the highest volume possible and got some complaints from the neighboors. All I could say was: "Sorry, the speakers won't go any higher".
Absolutely true Gary Moore‘s version is the absolute best, but seeing TWO 1959‘s played on the same stage by two absolute guitar heros of which one was played by Gary moore for exactly this piece is freaking awesome
You go to a gig these days.................. Bernie Marsden is there. You go to a guitar show or shop opening............Bernie is there......You go on youtube guitar channels.....Bernie is there. Did he play at the Spice girls shows?!!!
@@GenerationGap69 haha that's true, Gary wouldn't care less)). Didn't mean to sound negative at all, just being sad that we lose such people as Gary, BB, Prince, etc - and we would never get anything even close to them in return. Can't stop myself from thinking abt it when watching such videos. Nothing against Bonamassa he is damn good at what he's doing.
@@andrewthesea it's sad when they go that's for sure, he was a legend. I think he would be glad though that the guitar isn't dead and there are plenty of people like Joe and others (who don't get the publicity) that are doing their bit to keep it alive.
Bernie and the beasts sound is so much more rich and fat than Joe's... Bernie never really used any pedals...just his volume and tone controls on the beast... that was it.... true Master..

@@gav25x Bonamassa is just a spoiled autistic man. I'll agree that Gary Moore was technically way better and his playing was more emotional, but the Beast Les Paul was significantly a better instrument. I can only imagine the end result had it gone to Gary Moore instead of Marsden.
So what I take away from this is the vibes just naturally flow through Bernie, Joe seems too manufactured, looks like he's having a shit with those facial expressions. Bernie rates him good enough to welcome him on stage, so that's good enough for me, I'm not a musician, so what would I know, I'm just telling how I see it, feel it!

Rest in Peace Bernie. Thanks for all the great music and the cool interviews!!
The more you see videos like this, the more you understand Gary’s Greatness. I Miss you my Friend.
Gary forever !!
What do you mean by this post? That the guys here are no good at playing this song compared to Gary?

None of them can hold a candle to Freddie King…his version with Leon Russell cannot be beat!
RIP Bernie. An absolute Gentleman 💖💖🎸🎸🎸🎸
RIP Mr Marsden. Thanks for the music.
Now this is f-in blues. Damn talented musicians taking a song and making it their own by just playing around.
This put such a smile on my face! Those Lesters through a Bluesbreaker sound insane. Perfection.
The great Bernie Marsden 🙏🏻 Very much missed
Always appreciated Bernie, great guitarist with real style, great voice, best guitarist in Whitesnake and overall nice guy. Well missed. RIP Bernie.
que grande Bernie nos dejaste un puñado canciones increíbles y el recuerdo de tu inolvidable sonrisa descansa en paz guitar hero .
2 guitar gods including Bernie! RIP dude! You bow to few!
Rest In Peace Bernie Marsden 😢💔💐
Bernie has it, he has soul. There's lived life in his playing and singing.
Does he fucking ever his phrasing is out of this world
Shows how great Bernie actually was absolutely 💕❤️💕❤️💕❤️
RIP Gary+Bernie
Nice to see Right Said Fred still working on the rhythm section there.
Bernie and Joe cutting it up! They truly enjoyed jamming together! What a treat!
Two great guitar players who seem to have fun! Absolutely enjoyable!
1959 Les Pauls and 1962 Marshall Bluesbreakers. Yes!
God Bless Bernie 🙏🏻 RIP you legend 🙏🏻 would love to see the Beast to end up with Joe 👍🏻
As someone else has said, Bernie has the soul and the life to do this with real gutsy feeling.
Bernie Marsden.
What. A. LEGEND. 👏👏👏
Great Bernie and great Joe.
Incredible playing ... not sure is playing drums and bass but they are killing it as well ... totally in the pocket 😎

Bernie wad where Whitesnake got their sound. An absolute king of the Les Paul. No pretentions just clarity, feeling and genuine skill.
Moooooooooore!!.....
Up until about 10 minutes ago I was sure Gary's was my favourite version of this song...now I'm not remotely certain...this is fierce.
Tearing it up!! 🎸 🎶 🎸
59 + 59..... guitar heaven....
two beatiful legends who have a lot of fun together !
Thanks such fine preservation of this music
" The Beast !!"
That's it! Wow! That is blues that is not blue. It's upbeat. Great voice. The harp is unmatched. Love it! Thank you for making this available.
The hug at the end! "stay away from my Beast".....
that was just fantastic - so much respect going on, and so much fun with the guys on stage
Thanks for capturing this joyous moment :)
Johnny Winter had a good version of this song too. I love this
Love it !!! .....better be some Sayce coming 👍
Bernie wins the tone, okay his LP does.
Another time Joe's guitar doesn't come through on the recording.......
