I'm 70 years old and just discovered Joe Bonnamasa !! Where have I been? He's absolutely fantastic !!!
He has a very wide array of music out there too, check out his work with Beth Hart, their rendition of "I'ld Rather Go Blind" from "Live in Amsterdam" is fantastic and Joe's solo is on of his best in my humble opinion.
outside of steve lukather joe b is the best guitarist to ever hold one he plays no bad notes .........eric clapton would have flipped over joe if the ages were reversed hope im making sense.......joe is almost too good........joe b took the best of clapton , freddie , srv , walsh , felder , holdsworth good grief who else lol........evh and jeff beck are the only stand alones joe b cant touch.......these are only my opinions
Well better late than never...lols...
U don't hear real music like this on pathetic bbc...
Plenty of regurgitated pop bile from the dreggs of the pittiffull 80,s tho...
🤮🤮🤮
U might also like nick cave and the bad seeds...
Tbf bbc plays his songs bout every 5 yrs...
Blind man Jefferson is worth a listen but slightly dark lols...🕊️
43 and just introduced today by my father in law. This song made me disappear. Straight hypnosis.
Heck yes, I didn't discover him till I was 43
Agent Smith really knows his way around the fretboard.
Wow, thanks! That had me lmao
That’s perfect. Nail, meet head.
He does seem like he’s right at home, imagine he’s uncomfortable without an axe in hand.
Nothing like him
Why because hes wearing a suit and tie? What a stretch. Just like the last 50 times I read the same copied and pasted comment.
Can belt it out too...
Lol!
Man can Joe play that guitar! I wish his music could be enjoyed by more people. Now this is music, my friends. Not the crap you hear on the FM radio! LOL! You go Joe!
Blues is here to stay. In every generation we get new talents, and we are supporting them. I's a universal feeling 💙
What's a radio?
I never get tired of hearing Joe play BLUES DELUXE.
Me too
What a beautiful tone that honeytop has, and one of the greatest guitarists that ever lived wielding it😊
No place to hide if you get anything wrong - not saturated in distortion or effects. Gary Moore level talent.
Este comentario es lo mejor que he leído
he was a fan of Gary Moore and Rory Gallagher
This guy is so special n his incredible band, that I'm left speechless every single time I hear n see and feel his band preform. Not in my wildest dreams could even have imagined that this could be in this day and age! Magnificent! And I'm 64. Wow.❤👍💯💯
It doesn’t get any better than this, this is blues Bonamassa style.
No
I was at that show, box seats and everything. If I recall they were not even that expensive, certainly not by today’s standards. Wonderful show. Defo in my top 10 ever.
This guys incredible I listened to this song for 6 hours straight on repeat no stopping during work and was not bored even for a second, instead every single time I listened I heard something new in each take, Joe u are incredible guitar Master brother
The tastiest notes i've ever heard on a Les Paul or any guitar for that matter.
Truly
Us bro us
So did I. Joe Bee is the tastiest blues cat I've ever heard. His playing is my medicin, when I need a thrill. Thanks for sharing this upload 💙
I listened to the studio version on repeat yesterday so now im here. Relatable!
Well Done Joe... Very Well Done!👏😎👍
funny King Crimson Cover - will have a look at your playlists! xo
The tone on this is the best Joe's ever had.
It really is great. His phrasing and singing are too.
That's because he's using a Peter Green guitar ;)
No. It's because he's using Joe Bonamassa hands, heart, soul, and brain! JB would make ANY guitar sing.
Agreed
This is great.... But I slightly prefer his tone on 'Rockpalast' DVD/Gig
Joe runs a tight ship, his band is as impressive as his guitar playing. And those two drummers, hitting every beat together at the same time. I’ll be damned. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Anton Fig
If they’re going to play the exact same thing... why pay two of them? 🤔🤷🏼♂️
@@gkniffen Because they're both using different sticks?
@@gkniffen Stereo sound man. Haha.
CAN SOMEBODY TELL ME WHY HE NEEDS TWO DRUMMERS?
You'd never convince me there were 2 drummers. This is an Amazing performance.
But there are shots of both of them during this video...
@@andersonshumate He was making a point that their timing is impeccable. That really flew over your head? 😐
@@AncientCreature-i2o sounds like my joke flew over your head
I discovered Joe B right after he came to light, maybe 15 years ago. I went to my close local watering hole & played several of his songs on the juke box. During every song, people would get off their bar stools to see just who the hell is this guy? Made a lot of blues buddies via Joe Bonamassa. Saw him twice in Concert. Once in Phoenix & later I & two lady friends drove to the Red Rocks near Denver to see & hear him. The man never makes a mistake on that guitar!!! To me, he is the greatest living guitarist…❤️
Red rocks concert must have been awesome. Glad you got to see JB there. 🙂
BTW, are y’all aware of the fact Joe’s pianist is Reese Winans was Stevie Ray’s pianist?!?!
He came to light almost 30 years ago. I bought the Bloodline album back in 1994 😅 For me that's his best guitar recoding to this days. Very creative, great blues-rock-jazzy lines and a very nice strat tone. I even bought his Hot-Licks instructional video around 1997.
OH MY GOSH!! BEING SAD NEVER SOUNDED so GOOD!!!
I listen to Blues music since decades but this exibition captured me. The very nut of the soul of Blues. 5:15 The skill on volume modulation is astonishing. More than Moore.
Joe , and Gary Moore are my two favorite guitarists. Really wish Gary Moore was still alive. 🎸🔥
I don't know if you remember back in the 80s there was a sunday night Blues show on I think it was Pbs they would play a lot Gary moore and many others it was Great.
@@michaelmurray5505- I’m in Arizona & moved here from the left coast in 1967. I soon discovered “Those Lowdown Blues” on PBS Radio coming out of ASU every Sunday nite from 7:30 to mid nite & it’s still going. 91.5 FM
One of the best blues players ever
There's not enough words in the English language that describes how much I love this guy..WILL YOU SING ME THE BLUES?♥️
Don’t think I’ve seen anybody more comfortable with a guitar than JB.
Joe just killing the shit out of it! One of the greatest guitarists ever but his singing is just as damn good! Wow!!!! I can hear shades of BB King in there...
man made history! best blues solo i ever heard!
Joe will always be listened to. Even long after we're gone.
You're fantastic Joe.
This music is freaking awesome❤️
One of the sexiest performances I’ve ever seen!
There’s a strong sensuality expressed in Joe’s confidence, bold bravado, and enthusiastic abandon here!
Yet still, he is beautifully open and vulnerable and unguarded, just the kind of thing that people like!
Charismatic stage presence! Way to go, Joe!
Oh hell yes! That’s the first thing I noticed about his performances. Sexy sensual way he plays that guitar, the reckless abandon in his fingers as they pluck, hold and bend those strings. And see what happens...I can barely write or speak. Can’t take my eyes off of Joe. Sizzling!

You ladies want a room ?
Whatever floats your boat ma’am
It's beautiful, it's poetry.
You said it!
Damn right.
What an amazing musician. Probably my favorite guitar player
absolutely love this, and the tone of that guitar is out of this world
The absolute GOAT ....
Totally agree!
Love you, Mr. JOE BANAMASSA, I nicked named my great grandson after you, I call Jio, JB, for short. Keep the BLUES ALIVE. CLEVELAND ROCKS.🎵🎶🎼💙
Everytime I listen to Joe I am amazed at how precise his notes are.
❤this is why I love his music “he {Joe Bonamassa} play from his “heart” and know how to play good Blues!!❤❤ love this man and his “Music”❤
Can't tell you how many times I've watched this and just NOW realized there were 2 drummers. What. The. Actual ... JB killing it, as usual. He reignited my love for music.
B.B. King and Gary Moore are gone, but Joe's alive. So Blues lives on😎🙏
JB does deliver and his band is on spot...don't get no betta folks!
The best solo licks ever no kap🔥🔥
Cuts through to the very center of my being!
Absolutely love Joe’s long instrumental intro ❤️
When Beck and Stewart did this so many years ago, why was I so wrapped up in other things!
Well, Joe showed me what I was missing! Good thing!!!
Love you Joe !!!!!
Among all of his phenomenal talents is his mastery of the silent pauses to accentuate the chords.
Joe has the perfect mix of fire and technical prowess in his lead phrasing!
Live at the Royal Albert Hall - the best of the best!
Да, а ещё Black Country Communion, British BLUES Explosion, последний - "Live at the Sydney Opera House - класс. Вообще, у него нет плохих вещей. А акустические концерты!!! Купила билеты на майский концерт, блин, вдруг апокалипсис? :) ОК, но только после 16 мая.
Thomas Tuchel how talented are you mate!!! Champions league winner and blues god. What a man !!
Phenomenal!!!
You can really wake my “Heart” up when you play like this” you are singing so good” wow I can’t get enough of your Voice” ❤❤❤❤😊
Wow! Just wow. Wanted to first show love to the piano player and that horn section! But JB is just on another level. With the killer vocals on this track as well.
His music is beyond the best of the best!!! 💕
The feeling you incorporate and generate with your instruments, slays me...omg! Tear it up! Awgh!
Legend
Omg I died and this is blues heaven. My gawd. I don't think my mouth ever closed the entire performance and I didn't breathe much either. Wow.
One of the best, ever heard from him! Just wonderful.
Play those blues! Rock on!
Fantastic, Joe !! ♫
Big Bad Joe Bonamassaaaa playin it and slayin it!
Total and absolute perfection. Doesn't matter what floats your boat, be it accuracy, mind blowing ability or far more importantly from the inner soul... This is why, whatever age, we watch and follow Joe Bonamassa. Thanks Joe.
Nothing to be said when its Bonamassa Blues that's not be said many times!! This band he has put together here, mind boggling spectacular too! So many legendary musicians past, present on Bonamassa ledger❤
I can listen to Joe for hours
He nailed it!!!! Wished I would have found the blues when I was playing drums back in the day!
Damn.... That voice+the guitar brilliance
Joe plays guitar like it's on fire! Great!!!
Guitar man & his magic fingers taking us to new limits in blues so good & endorsed by BB King before he was even 17 now that’s the blues it’s written all over his face ; D
When i first saw in Dvd this performance 10 years ago, i could not believe my eyes...the same year i saw him live in Athens and still i think i was in a dream..
I've seen practically all of Joe's performances, sort of, either by DVD, RUclips or actually live, but I do believe that the Royal Albert is made for Joe. It has a great harmonic tone, to me that just screams out Joe Bonamassa. The acoustics there are just perfect for his music. I love it.
Best of the best,Love his music, Thank you.
Awesome ❤

If guys played like that in the 70's they would be in the hall of fame for sure today. Joe is quite a humble guy, just grateful he is out there playing.
Joe's humble ?!
That's funny.
Hendrix, Clapton, Jimmy Page, Bonamassa , SRV, Malmsteen, Steve Vai, Eddie Van Halen, Elmore james ... the bests of all times
jerry garcia?
andy latimer, david guilmour, steve hacket, steve howe, snow withe ....
Gary Moore?
Alex lifeson?
Um, Jeff Beck? C'mon now. Also Tommy Bolin would make my list. Seen Clapton a couple times and was underwhelmed both times.
Excellent concert ... a great performance for a hierarchy musician ... sound those blues!
It's brilliant! In his solo there is no boring obligation and show-off, he does not like spectacular grinding. Bravo!👋💯💥❤💥
One day I wanna hear my '59 like this !!! LES
5 hrs ago I was just watching music videos and Joe’s caption was on the side bar ... I accidentally clicked on it when I was trying to adjust another video and Joe’s video came on .... and the rest is history ..... never left him since .. I listen to him every day ...
His guitar playing is great, but maaaaaan,,,,, this dude can sing
Friggin brilliant. Top notch guitarist...leaves me in wonder
I'm certain when Rod Stewart wrote this he never imagined it would be presented so masterfully! Hats off again to Master Bonamassa!!
I didn't know Rod Stewart wrote this. Thanks for sharing that
“This one great Musician” that I can’t stop listening too!!!I love❤❤❤❤this man’s music and would do anything to see him live!! “Im “ not a young woman, but if I was i dream of seeing him as my “Bucket” first wish” just can’t get enough of the “Gorgeous hunk of Man’s” music!!🎉🎉❤❤❤
This is awesome. Dude can play. Fantastic
Ну до чего же он классный!Восторг!
Obviously a world class guitaris, but man, what a powerful vocalist as well.
Just wonderful And don’t forget that Joe can also sing
How I love the slow blues... and how I love how Joe plays the slow blues.
Full house! London's beast concert hall!
You're welcome anytime, dear Joe! 💙🎼
That's what I call a BLUES 👍 🎸
Loving the fact that Joe has a concert in Seattle, Washington on March 21st, 2020. We are not talking chump change here, Seattle, Washington and Portland, Oregon are very close in terms of what kind of blues they like...and Joe, I wish we could see you more in Portland, Oregon!
This. Is my favorite of your entire library of work. Love this song !
Played this baby twice. Get it done Joe!
Just keep playing the way you do, you are so good, and when you sing> OMG! I just wish I was on the front row watching your every move of your Body and your “Guitar” playing your Music, what a rush it would be for me. Thank you for being you and so good at what you do”
The attack of Gary Moore and savory blues feeling of BB.
Goose bumps all over!
The end of that solo sure reminded me of a well created violin; like somebody tenderly gittin' down on it. Amazing! Truly...
No one quite inspires me like joe to play guitar❤ that polished sound and phrasing just gets me. He’s the best blues man quickly followed by Kirk in my opinion seeing them play together is a blessing.
Love this man and his music!!!!! ❤❤😊😊
It's sad to know that there are so many people in the audience not knowing that they witnessed absolute perfection, but at the same time I'm glad they did. Absolutely incredible.
Masterful! Awe inspiring, emotional! Joe is already a legend
This is the one of Joes first great concerts. Love it.
Elena, me too! Absolutely love Joe's 2009 Royal Albert Hall concert...the very best! Good music! And so full of hope and promise for Joe's young career, which has come to a beautiful fruition!
The one that put him over the top. 👍👍
J' adore, excellent.
Just brilliant, couldn't ask for a better performance, love those blues
I can't wait to see Joe and the Band this Summer in Hampton NH. ;)
Lovin' a great , slow-drag blues. Thanks to Joe and a fine band.
Love his music! He ROCKS11🌹👍
АААфффигеть!!! Браво !!! Вставило не по-детски. Снимаю шляпу. Спасибо.
Truly a master at what he does. Joe has got it and with the backing of such a fine accompaniment. God bless you all.
All performances where fantastic .
