Ty for sharing ,, your doing a awesome job with Collin,, you know I saw Collin on a Taylor made piece a while back on shot shaping and I said to myself this kids got it all ,, I believe he's gonna be a superstar in golf!!! But I'll tell ya with his personality he already is ,, so great job for both of you and thanks again!!!
I liked the video but reading at the comments I totally agree and recognize the problem. Here's my tip :) make sure every fundamental is GOOD. Good posture, good grip, hands ahead, good alignment, and rotation of all your parts hips knees shoulders torso. And don't believe that what you're doing is perfect. Be humble and keep learning and exploring. But Here's my real tip. After you do all of that, just make sure you keep your head still. Rotate away from the ball as if there's an axis going through your spine and head. Everything rotates. Make sure you transfer weight to your right side while still getting a good hip turn and not moving your head. Here's the big move, get that left hip moving kind of sliding left and back as you make your weight shift to the left and get that right hip to start shifting but kicking down to and through the ball and towards the target even maybe a little right to make sure you're transferring weight towards the target. Here's the other big move, drop the hands like you're pulling a rope down and let the weight transfer accelerate those hands through and make sure you don't wrap them around your body or flick them. Hold the release and turn the club over naturally. Mess around with it. Remember too, in the backswing, let the weight shift to the right begin taking the club up on a wider path. DONT pick the club up with your arms ! Give it time ! It's a beautiful dance move. As Sam Snead would say. A Waltz. Once you're set at the top, just start the transfer and make sure you don't rush anything! Have fun and mess around with it ! Feel free to leave me any comments and questions :)
Theory and Execution are two different things. His instruction was good stuff. The execution *looked* like a bit of over-the-top pull. Can't see where it ended up. It definitely wasn't a fade setup, unless his approach to that is different than normal. But note that he didn't say "And the 4th tip is: do these three things and this will never fail and will make golf so easy you'll probably get bored with it." i.e. You can know how to dribble well and still get the ball stolen...
I think it is the camera angle that tricks your eyes . His shot was straight up and nice there . If it wasn’t , he could film another shot to demonstrate before posting the video . Thinking …:-))
I’m tired of being in the woods with my playing mates. I saw a baby snake today and I don’t want to get bit one day because I can’t keep it in the fairway. It’s genuinely a safety concern.
You are moving your hands right and left but did not talk about strong or weak grip! That is very important too because a strong grip is “more dinamiclly” square vs a weak one.
A straight shot doesn't have to be a straight line.. By straight they mean "in the fairway". Don't know if you are familiar with that piece of grass :D
@@LassePetersen97 So slices and hooks are actually just straight shots if they hit the fairway? Brilliant. I don't know if you're familiar with my friend named common sense.
A hook is different from a pull. It was 100% a pull though unless the video was a trick on the eye. Could have been a hook as well but unlikely he double crossed himself like that judging by his swing
I don’t get it. Looks like he’s lined up around the left edge of the far back center sand trap. Yet his ball travels left of the left far back sand trap.
My comment is nothing to do with this vid I've just seen the new taylormade p770 irons they look amazing but the price guys I mean come on its ridiculous how's about stop paying the stars such huge sums then you won't have to fleece us.very disappointed with you especially considering the current climate
Just do everything better and the results will be better. Gotcha.
My thoughts exactly... on plane swing, square club face and aiming down the fairway = hit fairway! Easy game.
That’ll be $85 dollars...
HUH?? Nothing new here….

If you hit more fairways, you'll hit more fairways. Life changing.

Don't snap your hips either on the downswing! Watch Moe Norman ! It's a beautiful transfer of energy
Seriously? You didn’t make that too complicated. 🙄🙄
Hit it straight and you will hit more fairways.
Did I miss the tips? This appears to just identify the issues.
Exactly
The tips are, aim straight, and hit the ball where you're aiming! Haha
Austin Taylor Easy as that 👌🏼
If you know what you’re doing wrong that’s all you need in golf
Cody Dodge it’s loosen your grip have a pre shot routine to make sure you’re aiming in the right direction
In regarding club face. Do you try to reference your left hand to the club face or your right hand?
Am I missing something, or did he just heel pull that tee shot?
Do as I say, not as I do. (Hmmm, works for the Democrats)
That ball went straight left 😭
could have faded it

Nice video
.thank you
Bonus "tips" to hit the ball farther:
1) get better swing speed
2) get better at hitting the sweet spot
3) get better launch and spin parameters
Would love to see a shot tracer on that last hit lol
He looked in the complete opposite direction to the ball and even gave it the club twirl😭

Looked like a snap hook to me. I can do that just as well as this coach lol

FOUR left!!!!!!!!!!
So we're supposed to pretend that ball didn't just go straight left? Lol
@@thenotorious9032 you may need to get your eyes checked. The tee is clearly still in the ground after he hits.
lmao 🤣

aloo la verdad increible video lo disfrute bastante deseo el nuevo grabación me retiro les mando besis gracias
Whenever I see this guy it always reminds me of Kevin Mccallister's dad lmao
How many PGA tournaments and majors has he won ?
That was a pull!😅
last shot was a hook
A hook is different from a pull. It was 100% a pull though unless the video was a trick on the eye. Could have been a hook as well but unlikely he double crossed himself like that judging by his swing
I have one tip. Buy a SIM! Hit bombs!
“Swing high, follow through and hold.” Patty Berg, 1939....nothing has changed
How to hit a snap hook.

foooore !!!!! left 🤣
a little pull there rick
He should try to use his own tips cuz that shot definitely went left
One thing I know from watching golf is
if the ball don’t exit the screen quick right, it’s a bad shot and ummmmm.......
as he proceeds to dead yank it
Ah yes, but how do I stop taking the club around my body?
Same 😂
hold the v your arms make as long as possible.
Lean GroundBeef honestly I just took a few practice swings focusing on this (based on your comment). Significant difference. Thanks man!
Cody Dodge glad to hear it helped!
@@atxgti4218 wait, this worked? explain in more details - i am suffering from the hooks atm
Is it me or did Colin pretty much copy this guy swing?
Just do better. Got it.
Well duh captain obvious, but how do you fix those things?
This is the most generic information/ tips I have ever heard...
And it's perfect.
Pull hook 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😂
So just be better?
I don’t think Collin listens to a single word this guys says.
This was useless. Toe hooked it btw.
I learnt nothing! 😂
Terrible tips them

Hits it way left lol
