    Great tutorial, keep them coming, they're much appreciated! Also, interesting side note, the CH-47D Chinook has a maximum lift capacity of 11,793 kilograms and a fully-loaded and fully-armed/manned BMP-1 has a total mass of 13,200 kilograms. So, a CH-47D Chinook could probably carry a BMP-1 if it had its munitions, fuel, crew, and other miscellaneous supplies removed. :)

    Does the simulator have the USSR ekranoplan (Caspian sea monster), the purpose was for a fast sea cargo and troop transportation plane/boat and then they instead used it for a missile launcher

      Indeed they do. It is under KM-08 Duck in soviet or russian aircraft.

    So are loadouts that have Marines, SAS, SBS, etc. useless? What purpose do they serve? How do you drop Marines from them?

      Same question, I can't seem to unload the marines

      @@chrisbesserer For you and the original comment; It’s more-or-less explained around the 2min mark of this video. The best way to look at it is that the ‘loadouts’ are what the aircraft is set up to carry. So, selecting “Marines x24” means that you can *then* load roughly two rifle squads worth of U.S. Marines. But you need to manually load them in the ‘cargo’ menu. For aircraft I believe this is found in the loadout menu, bottom-right. The Marines (and any cargo, for that matter) need to actually exist aboard wherever the aircraft is stationed, as well. So, if they’re not on the air base/aircraft carrier, then you can’t load them, regardless of what loadout you select for the aircraft.
      You either need to find the base/carrier that actually has the cargo or you need to edit it in yourself in the editor.

      @@I_am_not_a_dog Thank you. Was able to get it done the second time around this scenario.

    Question sir, is this still accurate as of the current build with cargo ops? Also, are AB and ports fuel tanks still non functional?

    • @PGatcomb
      @PGatcomb  4 года назад

      As far as I know fuel is still not an issue as in a base always can refuel a unit regardless of its fuel tank status.

      Bummer, wish they actually served a purpose like the ammo bunkers. But on cargo operations is their still the issue with deploying units shown in this video?
