Sounds like you have some engineering in your background. The AIP sub required the battery assist to travel at 10 knots, because AIP only generates enough energy for very slow speeds, and is intended to be used for longer duration transits or in place of battery power. Yes, every increase by 10 dB SP represents a 10 fold increase in sound pressure, though only a two-fold increase in our perception of increased loudness as detected through our peripheral hearing organs due to the non-linearity of the cochlea. Love the videos!
The moment you I dive, the sub becomes 'nocomm'. I know something must be causing this as if I refresh a new scenario and add a sub, there's no issue. There's no literature on this
when a sub becomes Nocomm that means 'no communication' It can't speak to you, and you can't speak to them, and you need to signal them to come up to a depth or onto the surface to re-enable communications. Radio does not travel through water.

Happened on these videos after Steam promoted them. Great job, thank you very much.
Hey man, thank you so much for these tutorials. You are a genius. Thank you again
CV = convergence zones, but great tutorials btw! One extra sub
Great video. Many thumbs up.
Thanks for another great tutorial
Who remembers this quote from a certain WW2 sub sim "NOW RUNNING ON DIESEL ENGINES!"
I do not know why you said Providence did not have a towed array but she most certainly DID have one.
