China $25,000 Truck Shakes The Entire Car Industry

- This marks an unprecedented occurrence within the automotive industry, presenting a paradigm shift that promises to revolutionize the market. A car manufacturer has recently unveiled a groundbreaking truck priced at only $25,000, a revelation that defies belief. In stark contrast, many internal combustion engine and electric pickup trucks currently available exceed the financial reach of numerous potential buyers.
Take, for instance, the Tesla Cybertruck, widely recognized as one of the premier electric trucks globally. However, its entry-level model commands a substantial $81,000, escalating to well over $100,000 for the premium configurations-far surpassing the budget constraints of a considerable portion of the interested consumer base. Another noteworthy electric pickup, the Ford F-150 Lightning, boasts a price tag of $57,090, a figure that may initially seem reasonable. However, the true cost revelation emerges when one discovers that the F-150 Lightning's top-tier trim can soar to a staggering $100,000.

Pick ups in my home town are mostly in the $60 to $80 thousand. Keeps people poor in Canada, or else drive a beater at $25,000.
Basically goods we manufacturer are all under the reach of poor people but our ego/ fake honour comes first. Chinese things are not bad, after all everyone eat same thing and sleep well.👂
Obviously you hv not come to singapore or malaysia. Vehicles are heavily taxed.
Canada has much bigger problems than expensive cars! Fix Trudeau and then talk

Bring this car to Philippines
I used to work in the era of 2000 , in a manufacturing company producing car parts. At that time the BMW i. Was produced in China. The car ready to go turn the key and drive was costing the company 7k . In North America was selling at 55 to 65 k . What a big gap in between

So you have no problem losing your freedoms to China to save a couple bucks not worth it to me
Please go buy it, see where the company will be in 2 years.
you get what you pay for.
That's because you are not interested in the reason they can is they pay the own people shit money, so people like you will buy their cheaper product, and if you can afford a new truck of any make your not short of cash are you ♥️♥️♥️
Gee! A pick-up that looks like a pick-up and not a weird techie toy appliance on wheels for weekend show off at Home Depot 😂😂😂
It's because of China most of us can afford most things. Thank you China.

And the rest of the Woeld would buy China.. West will become irrelevant!! The inevitable is about to happend!!💀

You can not get in usa not allowed 😂😂
Dirty usa leaders are blocking the sale of cheap china ev in usa
Plenty of Chinese vehicles (ICEs, Hybrids, and EVs) are being sold in Asia, Europe, Dubai and the rest of the Middle East. I wonder why the U.S. won’t allow them. I think it’s due to too much regulation designed to impoverish the American people by not allowing affordable low-cost brand new vehicles from the Dragon Country. BTW, Happy Chinese New Year of the Dragon! 🧧🐉
I love ❤️ the price
We need these trucks here in the US! These domestic and Japanese trucks are killing us with unbelievable prices.
I am not going to buy Chinese car or truck. It's about the quality and safety

Are you not aware of the endless problems w EVs?

For all readers here . Your country will never allow to sell this for 25k . There are only 2 options for you. 1) you wont able to buy it at all in your area. 2) if yes, it will cost over 45k
Great car! Just back from a family camping trip and our old VW T5 bus needs replacing. Something like this RD6 looks exactly what we need -a spacious family vehicle which also can be the workhorse. I can't stand these huge monster pickups on the road but this RD6 looks great.

We will never know how good these trucks/cars are because our government refused to let these trucks and cars into the US market. They fear the Chinese cars will win!!
No they aren't made in the US by hillbillies!

This is very good. In our country we sruggle to locally assemble trucks from second hand machines from korea and japan.

In Europe very few people use a pickup trucks, we extensively use vans instead for hauling stuff around = much more practical.
Yep, as an Electrician in Australia, my employer historically used pickups, we then got the option of a VW Transporter, far better to work from.
Good news for consumers!
Problem is the steel is subpar
Who said that.the Chinese are making good quality steel.
Very nice
Радар это ракета🔥🔥🔥🔥👍👍👍👍
Is it available in the uk ? 4x4 required and max battery and power and is rear store area water tight . How much for top one ?
25000USD
Almost no private citizens drive pickup trucks in China. Most are commercial vehicles, especially gas, electric, water, cable and other public utilities. Why would a person want to drive a truck for their personal vehicle? An SUV or van is much more practical. Also, no middle class person wants to be seen as blue collar. They do not do manual labor or home repairs and maintenance themselves. They always hire somebody. That's why Home Depot failed in China. Also, there is no faux "manliness" mystique to driving a truck like their is in America.
Can't do battery swap, #NIO has the right idea a d quality when it comes to pure EVs
Battery swapping stations will never reach the density of charging stations, which means that the travel time will be longer for many people. This makes fast charging more interesting
@nickjeh1 NIO's vehicles can do both. The point most people are missing is that you can also fast charge, but then also swap battery with a health check every time, which will change over it becomes degreaded or damaged. Now also the opportunity to switch to different kW power batteries for a rental also. Infact in China they have a massive network of chargers aswell as charge stations. They have been focused on infrastructure and quality/innovation rather then cheap sales and numbers. 🙌
Geely also partly own Proton cars in Malaysia.
Best value for money truck out there I would put a deposit down right now
do not get blended by a shiny surface. Wait. Let it be tested a couple of years. Improvement of bugs and so on.
Where can we buy one? I like it. ❤
Do not get blended by a shiny surface. Better wait until it is tested
Quality VS quantity
There are over 300 Chineses automakers, expect consolidation and for well funded ones like BYD and Geely to dominate, i sure would like a under $50,000 Geely Radar with 300+ miles range ,American Automakers will be in big trouble when Chinesd BEV makers finally come Stateside.
It is a bargain price BUT you'll definitely say I'm a total idiot wasting my money buying this lemon in 1 to 2 years down the track
All EVs are lemons w horrible resale, low range, fire hazard.

This is a nice truck and the price is a no brainer.
I am afraid that using lithium ion batteries instead of new sodium tech batteries would be a deal breaker for me.
Which car has sodium tech you can buy?
$25K upfront costs, but $95k hospital cost after it crashes!
The problem is these Auto makers want huge profit margins
Actually it's not a bad news, because it would push the world car companies and American car companies to make better and cheaper cars than Chinese.
I need a pickup truck 🛻 and l don't have much money too. Because those bigger guy constantly keep pushing me behind with my small little car 🚗 now it's time for me to tell them to stop 🛑 pushing ⛔⛔⛔
Can we have these cars in South Africa
Replace the electric drive and batteries replace with Diesel also get rid of the sat-nav then you have a great unit
never drove. a EV once there never go back
When employees are under paid the quality in product decline, when component are cheaply made the life spend of the product is short lived, cheap cars means there's no pride in the product that comes off the assembly line.
From where I can buy Chinese car?
People need China! China saves the whole world 👍👍👍
plz get in india ...

Yep, it's worth the hype.
China had trucks way before this and they are less. Saw them down in mexico. also Toyota makes Hilux you can buy those in mexico under $25k so not really news here

Lol good one 😂
Even if they give me this truck for free. I won't accept it as long as it is made in China! 😂😂😂
I was looking on aliexpress and the big Tesla batteries are only 6$ bucks a piece. I doubt it's very easy to open a geelee, I got this bad ass RC Car from Walmart to swap the parts out and the motor mount was simply uncrackable diamond glue, made of titanium, impossible to open entirely. I just rubberized and glued six pairs of gloves with my bottle of Bob's Extra thick. Had to cut the bottle in half, if you just rubberize them, it gets destroyed. Unfortunately I have no idea how to apply texture, the thick glue evades normal solvents, but it's really not that hard at all. Lol
Still entirely unaffordable in most developing countries.
Is it shaking the world because of its weight or because it is so out of balance? 😂😂😂
This truck is never coming to the states.
I am perfectly happy with my toyota synthetic leather seats in a top of the class Rav4, what's the issue or just an American desperate to find one negative for the video.
