  • I picked up 30 lbs. of quince from a local orchard. I originally was going to make a basic quince jam, but I went one step further and made membrillo. if you've never had quince, they're like a cross between a pear and an apple, with the smell of roses. if you've never had membrillo, it's a cross between apple butter and a gummy candy. it's great with a nice cheese (traditionally, manchego). i hope you enjoy the video!
