The constant beeping of the speed limit warnings annoyed so many drivers that Hyundai have released an over-the-air software update (July 2024). The update allows the driver to turn off the warning beeps with a long press of the Mute button on the steering wheel (or by issuing a voice command "Turn off Speed Limit Assist"). You need to do this every time you start the car, but it's much easier than going into the touch screen.
This fix is available on most Kia / Hyundai / Genesis models that have Intelligent Speed Limit Assist (ISLA) functionality - not just the Ioniq 6. For models without over-the-air updates, the fix is available to download and apply via USB.

It’s a great car. I got the black on black SEL AWD and love it. It’s fast stylish and fun to drive.

I agree with the beeping. I had an Ioniq 5. It beeps all the time. All the beeping drove me mad. I sold that freaking thing. Asian cars in general beeps too much.

Its good that you can turn it off but it’s a hassle to do it every time. Most of the beeps are not even needed which I don’t understand… which car did you go for to replace the Ioniq 5 ?

@@NonstopDrivingReviews Yea, I had to do this "pre flight checks" just to make the car less annoying. And oh man the beeping just to open the boot of the car is so annoying. When you get it in beeps 5 times everytime and another beep. Like so much beeping. The lane keep assist is useless. I replaced it with an MG4 Xpower. No more beeping

:), haven't driven the MG4 yet so can't comment on it. However looking forward to driving it next month (the MG4 Luxury)

The white interior is ment to be grey, personally I think the black interior looks boring as hell, the grey lights up the cabin and makes the ambient lighting effect much better.
The hard plastics suck, I don't care if it's made from straws removed from turtle noses.

True, the ambient lighting was very good with the Grey/White interior compared to the black interior that we had on the Ioniq 5. I just don't like the way it looks, but like I said that is down to personal preference.
