Thanks for this video! I was looking at it and thought about how you measure your speed. If it's via the speedometer note the speedometer deviation. As you might know i drive the Skoda Enyaq RS edition and that has a deviation of 3 Km/h. The top speed of the Volvo could suggest a deviation of 5Km/h.. Always liked the Volvo's especially the exteriors but interious of Volvo lately is absolutely not my thing. What's really good to see is the 650+ km range.... very good! But as always (and also with my car) when you drive faster, consumption increases dramatically. Comparing the Volvo with the Skoda Enyaq i must say not bad for a car that wasn't designed as en EV! But kudos to the Enyaq as it's consumption is better.
@@MarkenIngrid yes of course there is the deviation, but it’s only for measuring the trip time. If you would theoretically want a more accurate speed you can also divide the total distance by the total time. The only real difference is for the 120 km/h test were it should be 104 km/h 😅. I will calculate the speed this way in the future to ensure a more accurate reading. Thanks for the comment!

I had these EXACT errors constantly on my 2019 Passat estate - that car was a mess. Sat nav didn’t work, cruise didn’t work, cameras didn’t work so couldn’t do speed limit monitoring - it’s a software issue. VW replaced all the hardware and it still didn’t work. Was a great day when it finally went back to VW
Hi! Nice video... Is this engine strong or capable enough for mild off-road driving? Did you have any problems while testing? Did the engine shut off? And what about the clutch? Thanks!
Thanks for the kind comment 👍 the engine is definitely strong enough. It was fairly muddy and it did not have any problem. The engine did not shut off and it was also very nice to see how low the rpm were able to go without it stalling. The clutch felt very good compared to other cars in the price range that we’ve tested.
The beeping sound you hear around minute 6 is the cooling pump of the battery cooling - confirmed by Volvo. I have the same in my XC40 Recharge model 2024. Quite annoying and very noticeable when driving in traffic jam / city traffic and/or longer trip's! Their newer battery's all seem to suffer from that issue!
Thanks for pointing that out. I found it really loud when standing still and I could not find out what it was! Thanks
Are you planning on looking at the skoda kodiaq? Many thanks.
In the future yes. Currently in talks about the new superb
Thank you for your video. I think on balance due to my driving style I'll stick with combustion! I don't have time in my life for electric!
Thanks for the nice comment
Great review man! New sub! We've got an 85 Edition 2024 year, coupè, and its an absolute dream! We love it, fantastic range, brilliant charging speeds, super comfortable and easy to drive. It's a cracking car!
Thank you very much!
I got a rental Skoda iV 80 few weeks ago, and when setting B driving mode + Dynamic, I had one pedal driving. Car would come to a stop when not touching accelerator pedal. It's not the same on the 85? I probably Still had to push on the break at a red light, but I would do it even with a "real" one pedal driving car.
I went for Passat, car is great except i got same errors last friday after sw update like you in the video at 2:03, not working:acc, lane assisst, front assisst, sign recognition, proactive secuirity, dynamic lights. I just went to the official repair service and more people were with same problem. I could not find official announcment. Did you got any info about it?
I did not find out what the cause was, but after some research on the internet, it turns out that the sensors have problems when the Licensplate is not directly mounted to the bodywork. Maybe try this out to see if it fixes the issue (if you haven´t already got it fixed by your mechanic)
@@NonstopDrivingReviews Official service told me it is a common issue with camera on rearview mirror causing failure of the all assist functions. Temporary solution is reset fuse nr. 21 but it can occure again. Official solution should be announced in sometime in the future. Affected are significant number of new Tiguan and Passat. Unfortuantely it has serious security implication. Waiting for formal update.

Can you try to do the same with 1.5 TSI?
I can definitely ask vw for that version. Would be very interesting
@@NonstopDrivingReviews Cause i don't really see any point of an engine more powerful than 150 hp. Just get that massaged seats, noise insulated windows, set cruise control at 130 (if it works) or whatever legal and let it cruise.
How is the computer on this? Any good? Coming of a Tesla model 3 and considering this or a model Y (new version).
I personally haven’t driven a Tesla, so I can’t comment on it much. The Volvo information is a hit and miss. It’s amazing as it uses google for navigation, voice recognition and apps like RUclips, Spotify and more. It’s just not that nice to use as most features are stuck behind 3 different screens. And apple CarPlay/android not being wireless is a disappoint
The TCe 130 is a turbocharged engine with a mild hybrid system.
This is an awesome car! The only minus for me is that the car does not have the standard cup holders :-( So if you own a Stanly quencher cup or one of the other Stanly cup.. then you are in a bad luck :-(
Beautiful car
It’s a great car. I got the black on black SEL AWD and love it. It’s fast stylish and fun to drive.
Glad you enjoy it 👍
Diesel is horrible thing that should be abandoned years ago by automakers. In just a few years we will be asking yourself why we was so stupid to using them instead of EVs.
Diesel is used to make EVs. How does that sit with you? In fact, fossil fuels are responsible for almost everything you use and see. Your phone, your clothes, your food, your medicine, your EV. We aren't getting rid of them
Yeah yeah, go buy your ev and drive a 500-1000km trip when it's -10-40c in the winter. Tell us how it went you troll
You'd have no food on your table if it weren't for millions of diesel engines prowering all the trucks and ships😊
@@phtylersin Of course, but it is time to move on. This argument is no reason to stop evolution.
@@michalwojcik7345 open your mind and read it again. You are looking only for excuses.
i have a 13yr old diesel and its the same fuel economy body type and engine size so they haven't made much improvements in that time frame, mine is 169hp too.
The improvements are in pollution levels not fuel consumption...
Due to more stringent emissions regulations they have been neutering diesel engines for years. By decreasing compression ratios they can improve stuff like NOx emission (which are a diesels Achilles heel) but this also decreases the efficiency and power of the engine.
How big and heavy is you car exactly? What car is it?
@@MyRealName I think he has a Passat B7 2.0 TDI CR 170ps those CR engines are insane, I had one 2009 2.0 TDI 140ps tuned to 170ps, was also efficient with averaging at under 6l on the autobahn (speeds 130 - 150kmh). computer showed 4.3l @ 110kmh in 6th gear. I liked that car a lot.
@@laszlopapp1072 Cool but it's 200 kg lighter than this one.
Great video Would the new Superb perform the same or did VW hold some of the best tech for them and Audi?
the new superb shares the production line with th passat they have the same tech
new superb is basically the same car
don't really like diesels, but i must say, fuel efficiency on the latest gen is just...amazing, close to hybrids in city and half of the best petrol (be it hybrid or not) outside the city, especially at high speeds. fantastic although i would never ever buy a diesel again.
How come you don’t like them ?
@@NonstopDrivingReviews They are a bit loud, more expensive to maintain (catalitic converter), slow to warm up in cold weathers, a lot more expensive to repair if something goes wrong, have to choose the right diesel for low temperature climats.
Euro3 diesels is where its at! 😅
@@bilboriches7216 exactly... I have an Octavia 3 with 1.8 TSI. It's soo smoooth, you don't even hear it until 2000-2500RPM. It's actually nicer at low RPMs vs a diesel, it does not exhibit any vibration or feel like it's struggling at throttle input at ~1250RPM, it's just magnificent. And then...when you wanna have fun, 6500RPM, redline, it's a joy. Sure, i know what diesel is about. I've had an ALH 1.9 for 5 years. Had a jetta 2.0 tdi for a couple of months. Drove the new diesels, 1.6 TDI, 2.0 TDI, 1.5 tdci ford, even bmw X5 series from 2020 with 3L diesel inline 6 and...you hear it and you feel it. even the inline 6 bmw X5 which should be the perfect diesel, it kinda isn't. you don't feel it a lot, cause it's a bmw and inline 6, but you do hear it, sounds like a tractor still. Sure, the torque delivery is nicer in diesels, because it really pushes you, but i actually prefer how my 1.8 tsi does it, smoother, linear, progressive as you would expect. As for fuel consumption, yeah, diesels do give you much better mpg and that is one thing i still like a lot about them and dislike on mine. But then you have to wait for DPF regen, you have to put adblue in them, etc, etc and none of that is valid for a petrol engine. but the biggest reason is that the petrol turbo (especially ea888 gen 3 is a very nice engine, very refined) is so smooth and nice and when you get to experience one, you can't go back.
Would be interesting to compare an RWD version of tesla S And a 2 liter gasoline car.
Very true. We did compare it to the Ioniq 6 with the rwd and bigger batterie. Cost wise they are almost identical at the different speeds, but with government funding you’re looking at a car that is 8000€ cheaper which would cover around 160.000km of electric range.
@@NonstopDrivingReviews Well, i bought a used Tesla S. It roughly uses 200 wats a km year around average. So those discounts dont apply to me. So it would be interesting to compare diesel to gasolin and electricity (on public chargers and at home) in a single chart. So it would be 4 colums in total. Yeah, all countries have different electricity prices, but never the less. From last november till today, my model S used 3387 kwh for 14170 km App diagnostics detects somewhere around 62-63 kwh total battery capacity.
True. If we have the chance to compare multiple of somewhat same variants we will definitely take your suggestions into considerations. Thanks for the idea!
I am pretty sure there are both wireless charging and fan controls for the rear on some models. I would rather have "leather" seats with cooling then wool even living in the Nordics.
I would very much agree with you. We’ve had the wool seats on every test car that we’ve had from volvo which is every new Volvo apart from the V90 (which we will test later this year). We are getting our first Volvo without the wool seats next week and I’m looking so forward to it. The wool seats look very nice and for the car very well but they are so scratchy and unpleasant in the summer with shorts.
Awesome review. Would love to see similar test with Ionic 5N.
Thanks ! Already in progress but will take a time before we get the car. Make sure to leave a sub if you enjoyed
Just got an Enyaq 60 Edition on a lease in the UK, is a brilliant car. We got it to cover most of our A to B driving and occasional longer trips where we dont need public charging. We still have an older diesel 4x4 SUV for longer stuff. Were quite fortunate here as Edition spec comes with a stack of standard equipment (Matrix lights, ACC with travel assist, acoustic privacy glass, power tailgate, keyless, power drivers seat, heated front seats and wheel etc)....basically what the clever and plus packs give so its a really nice place to be. Honestly, we opted for a 60 as it was a few weeks wait rather than 1 year and not disappointed. More than enough range realistically and even with 177bhp its more than fast enough (no gears and no lag), its effortless to the point you wonder why you'd need more power. An 85 will be faster, but use that performance id wager the range differential between it and a 60 probably isnt that vast at all. I'm actually of the opinion that Skoda missed a trick....if they'd offered the 177hp motor with the 77KWh battery pack, that'd been quite a pairing for range and efficiency.
Waiting for the rs suv version. Hoping to get it in aug/sep. Do anyone of you know if you use android auto and navigate through that, if the chargingstation suggestion will show up, or is that only trough skoda's own navigation maps? I womder slso if the headup display will show if i use google maps?
You will not be able to set a route with charging planning using apple car play so I don’t think it’s much different for android auto. Headups display will not show any route guidance that is not from skodas own navigation as the two systems can’t work together. I don’t know any car that can do that.
Thanks for the answer 😊👍🏻
No worries 😉
The white interior is ment to be grey, personally I think the black interior looks boring as hell, the grey lights up the cabin and makes the ambient lighting effect much better. The hard plastics suck, I don't care if it's made from straws removed from turtle noses.
True, the ambient lighting was very good with the Grey/White interior compared to the black interior that we had on the Ioniq 5. I just don't like the way it looks, but like I said that is down to personal preference.
The pricing is Insane.
They don't care. VW sells majority of their cars to fleets and other businesses, so as long as they can pay that price that's the price.
It's a modern VAG, so no, it's not a good car 🤣🤣🤣🤣 New Camry will last twice as long as new Passat. 3-4 years old Camry or Mazda 6 will still outlast a brand new Passat

Its good that you can turn it off but it’s a hassle to do it every time. Most of the beeps are not even needed which I don’t understand… which car did you go for to replace the Ioniq 5 ?

You have a passenger in the car trying to hit 60 in Audi's claimed time is never going to happen . And you should know this
We’ve done all our test with a passenger. Most of the times we’ve hit the claimed time by Audi as they claim a higher value than what the car can actually due. But you are right it does obviously add weight
I am happily expecting my Dacia Duster full hybrid in black, which will normally be delivered to me within ten days of this response after more than six months of waiting.
Never seen one in full black before, but looks amazing on the configurator. Have fun with it
I'm torn between BMW i4, Skoda Enyaq 85x and Audi Q6 e-tron, I have driven the first two and waiting for Audi but it's hard to compare Enyaq with Q6 which supposed to be "premium" EV from Audi, better comparison would be with Q4 or ID.4 against Enyaq. I was considering VW ID.7 GTX too but it's it's too expensive for VW, it starting to cost like premium brands: BMW, Mercedes. I liked Enyaq for cosiness and city ride but highway is kind of energy consuming and the loudest out VAG I have tested.
We’ve only reviewed the SQ6 in a studio and we’re really suprised by it. It felt nice it looked nice and very different approach to the interior form Audi. It has fast charging speed, good range and offers a lot of space. I can’t tell you how it drives however, and it will cost you more. I personally really like the Enyaq for it practicality and it looks good in my opinion. Didn’t find it to loud especially on the autobahn (you can check out our consumption test :)
@@NonstopDrivingReviewsI have seen your Audi Q4 review, do you prefer Q4 posh or Enyaq cosiness? I think Audi is a little late with facelift comparing to other VAG brands and it's range is kind of lacking comparing to competition, any thought about that?
I prefer the interior of the Q4 as it just feels better and is more "posh" like you mentioned. It's also a very comfortable ride and very quiet. Otherwise powertrain it's the exact same as the Enyaq or ID.4, therefore no major difference their. Really depends on your preference, I like both cars but would probably prefer the Enyaq due to it's design and price.
Do you guys think audi will release a proper update next year of the q4 ?

I was gonna buy the 55 black Edition but for nearly £70k the alloys are awful. They look like they're off a flintstones car.
70k is also insane in my opinion. Yeah it's a black edition but still wow. I actually kind of like the look of the rims :)
I know the video has been recorded earlier and you probably don't have the Skoda Enyaq anymore... but as you are measuring the range with these cars, might it be an option to also test them with a roofrack and Roof box installed? If you would consider that really watch what happens with the range when you install a tow bar suitcase (if it's called that way) For the last one I would like to challenge you to do a test and be amazed by the results. 😁
Interesting idea and something that I’ve always asked myself, but we’ve not yet asked companies if they offer that when delivering the car. Will ask for it in the future maybe for ski holidays 🙃
Imo a technical a very good car, but i don't like the looks from the outside as wel for the interior. The outside gives me the feeling as if it's already outdated, i do like the rear wing and the 2 led bars, but the grey things on the rear bumper.... really Hyundai😨 Impressed by the low power consumption with lower speeds, and interesting to see that at highest speed it doesn't really make a difference compared to other cars at almost the same speeds. Thanks again for this very good video, looking forward for the VW Passat and maybe the new Tiguan?
Thanks for the comment 😊 Passat will be uploaded in 2 weeks (very interesting consumption on that car). We will definitely ask for the new Tiguan as our next VW Modell which will be later this year as we already have the ID.7 Planned
