One of the reasons that I love this channel is that you don't just post those fancy stunt clips, but also the moments you crashed. This made the vid feels so real, like "best pilot also makes mistakes". And this gives me more motivation whenever I want to stop practising, as a FPV newbie. Thanks for that👍
Great presentation Drew! I really like how you give “the basics” approach but leave the piloting subjective to the individual pilot. Not “it has to be this or you have to do that” approach. I have learned a lot from you over my first year, thanks you are greatly appreciated
To me this is what creates "flow." I have just changed my rates by dropping super rate and increasing rc rate, and dropping expo to allow these variations in speed on each axis. Looking forward to learning this technique. Thanks Drew!
Thanks this technique is very useful and remains relevant all these years later. I noticed I was already gravitating towards slow- fast for effect and didn’t realize it was a whole thing till I saw this. So now it makes sense more then ever.
You can see Skitzos influence showing through and a reason i enjoy Skitzos and your own videos LeDrib. It is something i am trying to teach myself to do. In time i hope i can look and fly some what like the two of you. There is something majestic and peaceful about the way you both fly that pulls me in and takes me to another place in time.
I just wanted to say that you made me buy my first FPV drone pre built because I tried to build and was really bad. Now I’m just building up the courage to fly it. Your videos have really inspired me to get my own quad. Keep up the awesome work your are killing the game!!!
The stick cam was great, here. Though not the focus of the video, seeing the tiny throttle blip on crossing zero yaw input produce that subtle darting/hunting motion was particularly enlightening.Thank you for the continuing and excellent content, Drew.
Love the "Lets increase the prop noise." Been asking for the sound for a while. I am an audible learner, I could almost learn a trick without my eyes. The HOLLYWOOD slo-mo sound effect was hilarious. Keep posting I will keep watching.
I'm so glad you brought this up. I do slow mo style and everyone thinks I'm manipulating my speed on video. But I'm so glad you put that too rest. Finally another pilot who can do this.
When I started I only wanted to do all the snappy Steele-stuff and the slower, more flowy stuff kind of just developed automatically over time. But the combination of the two to achieve the desired slow-motion effect is an awesome intermediate technique to work on and very well explained by you, as always Drew. Thanks.
I'm a total sucker for the Hollywood slow motion sound effects, made me think of The Slow Mo Guys' videos. Loving these videos how you really break things down and demonstrate things in multiple ways.
that is so crazy, ive never even thought about this but this is how i fly. I thought i was just weird. i guess it comes from watching all your videos and studying your tricks. Thanks Drew, your the best!
I absolutely love your explanation on this subject and how you could just talk about stick movements and still push the limits of freestyle kwad’in fam.... keep on doin what you’re doin and love it.... nothing but love for you your channel and your flying 💯💯
I really don't understand why people dislike videos like this, for me probably this is the only channel I follow that I never had a reason to dislike any of the content but whatever........ nice one drew as always keep them coming 🙃
Le Drib it's been 4 people out of hundreds... There's always going to be haters, douchebags, and the occasional person who accidentally hit it when putting their phone down - since it's only 4, I'm going to go with a 0.6% fat finger rate and take it as a flawless victory ;)
Can't imagine someone hitting the dislike button because they actually dislike the content. I think it's more of a personal hunt-down "I'm gonna hate all of this guys' videos" -thing. Anyhow, I think a like button would actually suffice and people who don't like it just don't press it. ,D Why RUclips feels the need for everyone to be able to specifically express their disliking is beyond me but maybe they just want all the interaction they can get out of us, right...?! ;)
there is always legit reason for people to dislike but since you expressed you're not able to imagine because "you never had reason to dislike" you said everything you could. a true fan you are. but you know there are more people around but fans, people have their own values and point of views. only a fanboy is able to ignore every other point of view and will always accuse everybody not loving and liking their symbol because "hate", "personal hunt", "whatsoever". grow up and put that fanboy-ism aside. a simple example: there are pilots that i rly love to watch fly and always waiting for a new upload but it happens that it would be a video where pilot flys close to birds or something else i would never condone because personal view of life. in a lot of cases i would dislike the video despite i rly look up to that person. no hate. no hunt. but a very good reason to dislike. fanboyism is bad!
Your videos and flying skills are really starting to mature and refine. Had dropped out of time to watch much youtube drone stuff for near half a year and the difference in just that time was quite noticeable. Look forward to more creative quad choreography and film making alike.
Your fast-slow reminds me how in snowboarding one can huck a 5, catch the momentum in a counter motion and store the energy in a pause, then release it and kick out the last 180 late. Makes for a cool stalled effect and changes the timing of the motion without breaking the flow.
Great video Drew! I think you best example of this type of maneuvers is your flight video oxidize, I always show people that flight when they ask about FPV and they always ask if its slowed down and I just tell them "No that's just how fucking good this guy is!" Thanks for keeping up with the awesome content!
Bro I think this is one of your best videos 👍 You do really well at narration and flying. I can barely fly atm lol so I'm boggled already but thanks for the tips
Dude, I wasn’t a massive wrap for you a while back. Not a hater, by any stretch, but just didn’t appreciate your artistic passion/subtlety, in your productions. But I really dig the way you do things... and help us understand and improve, these days. Sweet vid... again! Cheers man!
Great vid! Lots of great fliers out there but you are by far the one that captures the artistic potential the most maybe because you appreciate it! I learn a lot so much from your unique perspective and how you express it Keep it up!
I love this topic cause it's "style" it's like a finger print where everyone can show how different they are. I have a couple dual axis flips I love to do! This will inspire innovation!
Ironically I think I do this too much, it’s like every roll is fast-slow and I’m trying to change back a little! Anyway, your instructional vids are some of your best content Drew, you have an instinct for getting to the heart of the trick and breaking it down to the key elements. Nice work and keep it up!
Awesome explanation, I do that regularly but just haven't had a good explanation as you have done. Watching my videos kinda threw me off, thinking the gopro messed up. But after multiple videos with same results I realized it's the fast/slow movements. If your ever passing through Hattiesburg Ms let me know, love to bring you to some local bandos and spots I think you would enjoy.
As always Drew great video!!! Man I’m so excited about the event in barnwell SC!!! I’m just up the road pretty much in Columbia SC and will definitely be there.
Dude I dig the heck out of your style. I am personally working on a really smooth and slow style like I have when I fly my 3d helis...low and slow!!!! Thanks for your tips bro and keep them coming!!!
Long time listener, first time caller.... Or something like that. Nice video, Solid advice, and good break down as always. I have a different sound effect (or onomatopoeia) for each maneuver when I fly.
That’s awesome. I still learning how to fly. It’s been like months! Every time I fly I seen to brake the quad. Sucks a lot. Now I’m a little scared to fly my 150mm just because I don’t wanna brake it. Love your videos.
I went to college in New Orleans and lived there for a couple years. The humidity down there is real! While you're down there you should check out the Audobon Park and the "Fly" Two great parks!
Great tutorial Drew, been wondering how to do this for ages and only changing my up-tilt, once I got to 5 degrees I realized that was not the whole story :) thanks for your tips
Great video!! I always like to finish my maneuvers with slow motion, just because it makes it look smoother, also if your tune isn't spot on cause your flying different props, or slightly heavier battery, etc. you won't notice bounce back if you slow down before stopping the trick.
i like the non-chalant absolute ridiculously crazy flying at the end
Yeah he Progressed a lot.

I think this video did more to explain to me what my favorite FPV videographers are doing than anything I've seen thus far. Thanks!
To me this is what creates "flow." I have just changed my rates by dropping super rate and increasing rc rate, and dropping expo to allow these variations in speed on each axis. Looking forward to learning this technique.
Thanks Drew!

How u doing

Very instructive Drew!
Thanks for sharing your magic and not keeping it just for yourself!!!
I'm so glad you brought this up. I do slow mo style and everyone thinks I'm manipulating my speed on video. But I'm so glad you put that too rest. Finally another pilot who can do this.
For some reason the way you explain the trick speaks to me. Thanks I have been trying to figure this trick out for a minute.
Now I know I'm not the only one listening to the sound effects in my head while flying! Thank you!
Le Drib is the Peter McKinnon of FPV!! Great flying footage with awesome and cinematography.
Been watching you progression since Feb. And WOW! You rock man!
This is the video that got me hooked. Thanks brother Drib for all you do. I wouldn't be doing this if not for you. .. Love Ya I Do.
I appreciate that you leave some of the crashes in
Sound effect tip is a great idea, some golfers use a similar technique to achieve a smooth swing. Great video as usual!
And another brilliant tutorial. There is something so sexy about the sound those props are making. 😎
When I started I only wanted to do all the snappy Steele-stuff and the slower, more flowy stuff kind of just developed automatically over time.

You are the king of smooth. Your flights look like liquid flowing in zero gravity.
that is so crazy, ive never even thought about this but this is how i fly. I thought i was just weird. i guess it comes from watching all your videos and studying your tricks. Thanks Drew, your the best!
Holy shiet, your flying is absolutely incredible, mate! 9:05 and 9:12 gaps were just :OOOOOO
That was an awesome video as usual. The abandoned place looks SO hazardous, and you were coming so close to stuff at times. Wow.
Rotor Riot 4 Life!!! Much love and respect Le Drib, love the content
10:22 is my fav clip. Seein the city and sun like that is somethin else!
I absolutely love your explanation on this subject and how you could just talk about stick movements and still push the limits of freestyle kwad’in fam.... keep on doin what you’re doin and love it.... nothing but love for you your channel and your flying 💯💯
But that bridge shot at the very end. Gorgeous light 👍👍
very cool dude, loved the 'Holywood slow mo sound effect' bit!
So much love that voice’s sound...thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the video! I'm just starting out and been flying about six months. Every bit of advice helps!
I still come back to watch this drew❤❤❤❤❤
:)
Another great video. Your style shows what smooth flying can do...
the windows of that hall were really cool, nice green flare man
Enjoyed that session.. More please and thank you :-)
Thanks for opening up and sharing a little of how you do what you do so well.
I really don't understand why people dislike videos like this, for me probably this is the only channel I follow that I never had a reason to dislike any of the content but whatever........ nice one drew as always keep them coming 🙃
Thanks Ian, appreciate the kind words :)

haters gonna hate and that's it. very nice vid, definitely thumbs upworthy and the flying is very very nice and flowy.

Whatever I'm doing, everything stops for a new Le Drib vid!
Excellent tutorial and that move through the interior frame was spec.
Great video Drew! I think you best example of this type of maneuvers is your flight video oxidize, I always show people that flight when they ask about FPV and they always ask if its slowed down and I just tell them "No that's just how fucking good this guy is!"

I really like your style of flying, that is why I am so happy about your "how to" videos. I learnt alot from those. Thanks for sharing!
Dude, I wasn’t a massive wrap for you a while back. Not a hater, by any stretch, but just didn’t appreciate your artistic passion/subtlety, in your productions. But I really dig the way you do things... and help us understand and improve, these days. Sweet vid... again! Cheers man!
Damn Le Drib you've gotten so good at threading gaps and getting the timing down of things perfect it's mesmerizing to watch how good you are.
I fkn love the way you shoot B-roll...my eyes 🤤 pop everytime!
Insane flying. Some of those gaps were mind boggling how you flipped through them.
I love this. Thanks for the video and for being awesomely yourself 👍🏼
Always interesting sites and locals, and awesome vids! Thanks for sharing!
Wow! I just found your channel. I didn't know drones could fly like that. Blown away....
Ok so we all know you got mad skill. How much luck was that flip in the rafters ? It's just mind blowing. Love your flights
Great vid! Lots of great fliers out there but you are by far the one that captures the artistic potential the most maybe because you appreciate it! I learn a lot so much from your unique perspective and how you express it Keep it up!
Thanks for the flight instructions, another epic video, ps the controller video insert helps a ton!
Very nice, thanks Drew. Time to practice!
I really like this style. You are so good at flying is awesome.
Love it. Love how you explain stuff. Just calm and interesting. Then followed by a mesmerising flight too! Keep these coming man!
Contrast baby! Makes everything look better.
I love this topic cause it's "style" it's like a finger print where everyone can show how different they are. I have a couple dual axis flips I love to do! This will inspire innovation!
Love the videos, Drew! As a new pilot I cannot thank you enough for good explanations and stick view!
Sweet thanks man. I am really enjoying your videos.
Ironically I think I do this too much, it’s like every roll is fast-slow and I’m trying to change back a little! Anyway, your instructional vids are some of your best content Drew, you have an instinct for getting to the heart of the trick and breaking it down to the key elements. Nice work and keep it up!
Slo-mo sounds definitely completed the effect. It 'pulled' the effect out of the footage more. Tres cool.
I realy enjoy the way you‘re flying. Inspiration for me 👍🏻
Great trick tips! I never through about the timing of moves like that, ill be keeping this in mind when flying next
Awesome explanation, I do that regularly but just haven't had a good explanation as you have done. Watching my videos kinda threw me off, thinking the gopro messed up. very understandable explanation! very cool footage and editing !
the sungoing down at end of ur fpv video is awesome and i know it took time to get that footage.alot of work goes into ur videos
It's incredible. Looks so hard to do.
Great video, thanks!
Awesome bro. New to the acro scene but definitely gonna put this in my to practice tutorial.
Noting how people used to think stuff was sped up and now it's the opposite is a great observation :]
Very awesome videos. I'm no where near that. Just completed my first roll today lol. Was cool. Thanks for the info!!
I'm becoming unhealthily obsessed with your vlogs lol, But seriously, I don't know how you do what you do, I hope to come close someday.
YOUR A BEAST!!! MAN so many close calls!! The slow mo moves are really cool!!! Thanks for explaining it!!!!.
EXCELLENT FLYING!!!.
👍😀👍
Thanks for the tutorial. Very helpful.
I went to college in New Orleans and lived there for a couple years. The humidity down there is real! While you're down there you should check out the Audobon Park and the "Fly" Two great parks!
love these videos, Drew. Inspiring, makes me wanne go out fpv'ing tomorrow.
Very big thanks. It is so essential what you show to know the right way! Biggest thx :)!!!!
Thanks, love these informational vlog videos. From the shadows I lurk
That hollywood sound effect got me! :D Really seemed like you were slowing down the movie :P Keep up the good work drew!!
Dude love the stick view I'm new to drones and strive to fly half as good as you it's not easy for sure
that happy video game zelda or mario brothers music makes it fun!
Good exlplaination bro. yes the motorsound gives me a good orientation👍🏻😎
Holy shiznit man, you are getting better and better...
You do this all the time, and looks EPIC!!
Dang I don’t know why but this was so eye opening... Thanks drew!
Great tutorial Drew, been wondering how to do this for ages and only changing my up-tilt, once I got to 5 degrees I realized that was not the whole story :) thanks for your tips
I love your videos. Def gonna practice this.
Thanks Drew. Awesome explanation as usual. My favorite instructor :)
Wow...this is amazing. Hang on a bit and I'll get you a DNA sample...You should go to the box for 2 minutes...by yourself...and feel shame.
Thanks Drew ..that was cool!
I've got to get practicing this it looks awesome
Nice! Thank you for showing the next level!
Great video!! I always like to finish my maneuvers with slow motion, just because it makes it look smoother, also if your tune isn't spot on cause your flying different props, or slightly heavier battery, etc. you won't notice bounce back if you slow down before stopping the trick.
thanks duden live slomo is the way now i learn it too!
