These tutorials are great. Dying for spring here, 4am and thinking I should get up and put some batteries on - the swamp frogs (known as peepers around here) are singing here tonight (4am 3/29/18) in CNY - that usually means flyable weather tomorrow.... Irrelevent fun fact - A peeper is a little frog about an inch long, and they have a collective mating song that is surprisingly loud (there are millions of them out in the swamp) - the peepers get frozen back into the mud 3 times and that's the last frost, this is the 1st peep cycle, after 2 more, winter is reeally over. I've lived by the swamp for 30yrs and they've never been wrong. I've been using 1st peep as a signal to get my planes dusted off and ready for years now. For the last few yrs the quads "Break the Ice" literally sometimes. That's my "Using frogs to improve your quad flying" tip of the day.... Anyway, watching some LeDrib is good for the mental state, gets me psyched to fly and I accidentally learn something now and again... Thanks!
I love these types of low flying tricks. I've practiced them so much I pull them off with ease now. Took me over a year of practicing it to get it down with all the tricks I pull. Definitely a good tutorial on how to pull it off.
@ledrib I really like that you don't edit out all your crashes. As I'm progressing in freestyle fpv it makes me feel better to see that an incredible pilot like yourself can shrug off a crash and keep going
Very nice video Drew. This should help a lot of guys to enjoy this hobby. I used to sk8 alot and one thing that taught me was to be persistent in learning how to move :) perfection through repetition and all the stuff you said that day! :)
Drew, you and Bardwell need to get a room! Just kidding, the chemistry is fun to watch between you too, like a buddy cop flick. Who is the side kick? Great flying video editing to boot. I'm hooked!
Great video fellas, I love the trick tutorials! I look forward to "attempting " this next time I get to rip! I can't wait to get a chance to go to kwad camp:)
You guys just seem to have soooooooooo much time to carry out tricks like these. Like the quad is flying in slow motion. I hope it comes with stick time, because as a beginner pilot i never seem to have enough time to do simple moves. Keep these videos coming dude, and help us noobs out. Oh by the way.... Hi Drew, I'm a Drew too ;) haha
Totally....2 hours of no (frozen) rain after nearly a week straight, plug my LIPO into my Skyzone goggles and "smoke" -my goggles needed replacing anyhow.
hello drew. it's only recently that I entered the world of the IPV. I often watch your videos because I really like your style of driving fluid and spectacular. I have a question, at 4:06 pm you make a maneuver and go back on the same trajectory. how do you stop the climb and come back like that? do you reverse the rotation of the motors? thank you very much for your possible answer!
In the words of mr bardwell “Step one: DO A MATTY FLIP Step two: IF YOU DONT CRSH POST IT” Also that first quad camp at Xhover was lit🔥, biggest learning experienced my life
Bardwell is like the older brother teasing younger brother Drew. From watching both of their vlogs/videos I get the "I'm not touching you I'm not touching you" vibe from them xD
I love trick tutorials. As a beginner they always give me a new aim, something to achieve, something to work on. BUT, please start showing these through the DVR as well. I consider it much easier to follow if I see what I am supposed to see in my goggles, not what the GoPro with its HD footage and wide angled Superview is seeing. I know it also depends on the camera and lens you are using for your FPV feed, but the DVR will in any case come closer to what I am supposed to see in my goggles than this beautiful GoPro footage. It makes it so much harder in real live once you see the world through your FPV gear instead the wide angle of the GoPro...but maybe that is just me :)
Drew, Love the lines you lay out and the great flying.... BUT, would you be willing to put your sticks on the bottom of the screen so we can see "how" you are doing it? I know for me, it would really help. Especially on the move you are setting up for. Thanks!!!
Man i was i could have gone, if the knoxville one is really happening i will be there! And yes i know i went to vegas, but that was just to hang out and meet everyone really lol
1:02 loved this! Killer flick!! 2:26 MAN your footage is looking primo in this spot! Super great advice (and epic powerloopable gap too! I just wanna rip it right now lolol) 3:04 HECK YES! I was doing a similar thing (not fully intentionally lol) when I was MattyFlipping a grain auger in some delicious 50mph winds. That look-back is so freaking handy. Then you just gotta commit and nail it
"Over 48 people showed up" -so 49? Lol! I'm ready for the ultimate crash compilation, I'm sure you have the footage. I love the channel! Ummagawd I didn't learn anything though...
ledrib what betaflight do u use? i just uploaded 3.5 on a build that im working out issues with due to motors was to big 2607 on spedix 4.1 or least thats what i hope it was
Sweet video Drew ! Did i spell that correct ? lol I'm editing a video right now and banging my head against the wall a little bit. This helped. thanx man. Marc :-)
i watch A LOT of different pilot's styles....You, Nurk and Robo are BY FAR "the best" -i've seen -SO FAR. Some seriously smooth flying! Where's you (sexy) g.f.?
I love the way you and Barwell are teasing each other :-D (I hope it doesn't sound too gay... I'm not homophobic... just saying) :-D Anyway, as always awesome video Drew!!! Thanks for really usefull tutorial :-)
Does anyone know what is up with the new way RUclips looks? I can't see peoples names now down in the comment section? I can't even see there names when I go to there channels, and they look totally different now?
I don't know what it is but I love the dynamic between you and Bardwell.
You and Bardwell DEFINITELY need to be in more videos together
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
They're like the FPV version of the Odd Couple.
Yes Bardwell and Drib are definitely OTP of RR/QuadCamps. Need more of that
Looooove the banter between you and Bardwell! It's totally entertaining!
These tutorials are great.

Hands down the best video diary of an FPV pilot. Love you brother. Great job. Wish you were doing this when I was a Marine recruiter in Detroit!!!!
@ledrib I really like that you don't edit out all your crashes. As I'm progressing in freestyle fpv it makes me feel better to see that an incredible pilot like yourself can shrug off a crash and keep going
just wanna say your the reason i got in to fpv and i love it didnt think i would fly acro in 2 months your frame will be my next build fin!!
Very nice video Drew. This should help a lot of guys to enjoy this hobby. I used to sk8 alot and one thing that taught me was to be persistent in learning how to move :) perfection through repetition and all the stuff you said that day! :)
I am watching the video the temp outside 28 and you are in a tee shirt. Wish I could fly like this. You 2 guys are great together love your videos
Cartwheel trick is the unintended star of this video
Drew, you and Bardwell need to get a room! Just kidding, the chemistry is fun to watch between you too, like a buddy cop flick. Who is the side kick? Great flying video editing to boot. I'm hooked!
Paul Giusti honestly right
Pretty sure that Bardwell is picking up some editing tips from Drew, which is a good thing.
You really look relaxed and like you are enjoying life. Seriously considering moving to warmer climates.
Great video fellas, I love the trick tutorials! I look forward to "attempting " this next time I get to rip! I can't wait to get a chance to go to kwad camp:)

Oh by the way.... Hi Drew, I'm a Drew too ;) haha
Nice Drew, your flying is awesome, appreciate your videos
Trick tutorial! Yay! Thanks again. I find your tuts to be very easy to follow.
I am so jealous of anyone that gets to fly in a t-shirt right now.
BOTGRINDER FPV no shit. Snow, snow go away!!
I got to fly in a T-Shirt yesterday. It was up to like 46 degrees.
been flying from inside my car recently haha. we just got hit again with the snow!
Truth! CO is just finally getting melted out in the best spots
Totally....2 hours of no (frozen) rain after nearly a week straight, plug my LIPO into my Skyzone goggles and "smoke" -my goggles needed replacing anyhow.
You are a BEAST. At power looping!
Those trees looked really cool!
The old Bando Publix parking loit...flew there many times..and I lived just vdown the street from Gillespie park :)

I love your videos for your explanations that teach me a lot. Thank you for those shares!
Awesome! When are you coming to Ohio with Kwad Camp?
love your edits Drew! oh and your flying is not bad either. lol your the man Drew!!!
In the words of mr bardwell “Step one: DO A MATTY FLIP Step two: IF YOU DONT CRSH POST IT” Also that first quad camp at Xhover was lit🔥, biggest learning experienced my life
That tie fighter looked awesome! I hope the camera was mounted in the cockpit for full star wars immersion.
Bardwell is like the older brother teasing younger brother Drew. From watching both of their vlogs/videos I get the "I'm not touching you I'm not touching you" vibe from them xD
Fun stuff. I'm just about to to my 10th battery fpv in acro mode. Figure..may as well send it!
That was really funny and useful... Love the flow to flying... Do you think 30 is better than 25 degree...
Need to do a Kwad Camp in the PNW!

Success looks good on you Drew. 👍🏼
Can you do a video of your DX12 and TBS crossfire set up? That would help people that are on the fence about getting the TBS Crossfire.
Drew,
Love the lines you lay out and the great flying.... BUT, would you be willing to put your sticks on the bottom of the screen so we can see "how" you are doing it? I know for me, it would really help. Especially on the move you are setting up for. Thanks!!!
Kid can fly. I hope to be at least half this talented.
Loved this. When are you guys near little old Delaware?
Love to be at one of the camps just to watch you all fly
Love your videos! Your a great vlogger. Please don't let that 'know it all' Bardwell in your videos....
Thanks for the drib-vid, very helpful. do you think you could get a quad camp in Indiana?
The flip where you watch as you flip is called a moonsaw!
Hi!
I see in another video that you use a nd-filter.
Which modell do you use for your gopro session?
Thanks a lot!
Love the trick tutorials thanks Drew
Looks like a shitload of fun
Man i was i could have gone, if the knoxville one is really happening i will be there! And yes i know i went to vegas, but that was just to hang out and meet everyone really lol
What is the sound from the quad at 5:30? Mine makes the same sound...
is this the same park that flight test did their video with charpu?
your work is great
1:02 loved this! Killer flick!! 2:26 MAN your footage is looking primo in this spot! Super great advice (and epic powerloopable gap too! I just wanna rip it right now lolol) 3:04 HECK YES! What a crew!
This was important in my next part of my training ....thank you .

"Over 48 people showed up" -so 49? Lol! I'm ready for the ultimate crash compilation, I'm sure you have the footage. I love the channel! Ummagawd I didn't learn anything though...

Does that makeup you wear get in the lenses of your goggles? Serious question.
Lol no, your eyes shouldn’t be touching the screen
no I rather believe that your quad has magic in it XD
3rd channel.. the Josh and Drew show
Does anyone know what is up with the new way RUclips looks? I can't see peoples names now down in the comment section? I can't even see there names when I go to there channels, and they look totally different now?
you can use Audacity to edit out Bardwell’s voice 🤣😂🤣🤪
its weird but the least little bump in throttle mine gains altitude to much . must be that im just dshot600 lol joking. need more practice spots
one time joshua boardwell will say: "...you are such a great pilot, qygp ygpq..."
You make it look so easy...
...except when Joshua opens his mouth - which he tends to do. ;-)
Joshua, shut up while Drib is talking :D
