They def rushed it. No way assembling the coaster in winter didn’t fuck it up at least a little bit. We’ll see if vertical velocity at great adventure has the same problem since it’s being assembled in the spring

That layout looks awesome! Really quick pace for a modern B&M! The lack of a mid course brake run seems like a huge improvement with this layout over some of the other B&M dive coasters.
But that does look to shuffle quite a bit for a B&M, especially that little bit before the brake run. I wonder if that's just a consequence of the extra wide trains on the smaller B&M track or if there's something different with the track construction quality.
Comfort collar dive coasters have a reputation for being forceless but this ride doesnt look that way at all to me. You can see the riders floating in their seats quite a lot in this video, the first drop especially looked surprisingly powerful. Might not have the sheer power and force of old school B&M loopers but it looks very fun in its own right
Ive always greyed out on every dive coaster, vest or no vest. I dont think they have a reputation for being forceless, just slow paced and mild.

Hopefully the smoothness improves, from this pov it looks shaky but still good as I don’t mind rattles and they don’t bother me at all. Unless It’s thunderbolt at Luna park. But that ride is by far too far gone for saving. I am looking forward to riding this on may 10th! Seems to be very good asides from the possible comfort issues but doesn’t look bad.

B&m has been rough recently. Nemesis reborn was very rattley. Ive heard pipleline was rough and this has a full on jolt💀

Is there a break-in period for these dive coasters. My home dive coaster Sheikra is very smooth. It's the oldest dive in America and appears to ride smoother.

Ehhh. I'm a passholder and Dorney is a home park for me. I went this past weekend and it was actually busy. Iron menace had a 30 min waite but it lighted up to 10 as the day went on

….why is it so rough! I understand that it could bed in and get slightly better, but also there is no way a new B&M should be that rough. I know Nemesis Reborn has had rattling issues, but I went on it the other day and it was glossy smooth. Strange.

First thing I instantly notice is that it's rough, esspiecally that jolt just as you turn into the brakes 0:58. Very odd and honestly poor from B&M...
same thing as dr. diabolical i imagine, they are using the smaller gauge of track, still haven’t worked it out yet i guess.
@MattGames7734 Must be that, 7 seater rows probably don't help either, but that pot hole is definitely just track related. Nemesis Reborn is glass smooth (besides the trains rattling like crazy) so curious what exactly is different here
@@lancehutch i’m just shocked that at this long in the game, b&m hasn’t figured out glass smooth like intiman (sometimes) and RMC has, especially in a fraction of the time for RMC
@@MattGames7734 B&M have almost gone backwards, they pretty much always used to make perfectly smooth coasters until their most recent builds over the past few years which have been noticeably lower in quality

Why on Earth does this look so shaky at the top of the Immelman, exiting the inclined loop, entering the corkscrew, and have an especially strong jolt before the brakes? I've never seen so much jankiness on a BRAND NEW B&M. 😢

nope. been on both. cliffhanger is rougher and less forceful. this ride is superior
Cliffhanger is not rough anymore the park added some more suspensions a few weeks ago and they themed it more and they programmed the mid course to not slow people down so much causing the airtime hill to be forceful and the valley after the drop I think is more intense that iron menaces and the helix is more forceful but the loop is pretty forceful on iron menace but I think cliffhanger is better

Glad you got to ride it Ryan, but Holy Schitzars it looked like it had a hyper rattle and that jolt at the end looked horrible.
I like the mini layout, but it looks like this is going to be a "problematic" episode some day.
candymonium and iron menace are made from the same manufacturer. iron menace does not have the same smoothness as candymonium. i am going to kill myself.

Hopefully doesn’t become rough like Valravn and Yukon Striker after a year. Idk why these new B&M vest trains stuck around. Griffon and Sheikra are smoother at 15+ years old than these couple year old dive machines.

Man, that layout looked very good but this is Gerslauer level of smoothness for probably quadruple the cost! Manufacturers like B&M and Mack Rides really don't seem to care. Just makes me appreciate modern Vekomas and Intamins even more!

For everyone talking out the rattle, B&M dives have 3 row atadium seating, which means the third row has a center of gravity about 3 feet higher than the front. It's a pretty flawed design because it makes the back row rough. Ive noticed this on Valravn, Shiekra, and Griffon. All are ice smooth in the front and super rough in the back.

This looks awesome. I wonder if it's a requirement from B&M to have the first element after the drop be an Immelmann. B&M makes excellent rides, but it seems they like to be repetitive on their dive coasters. Are they not comfortable with say, a dive loop, or a vertical loop coming after the first drop?
Still, this Immelmann looks incredibly floaty!
