My hometown Great Park Dorney is with a lot of History the park has. A little History insight for you: Dorney Park was Originally a Fish Hatchery with a Dance Hall that slowly turned into Amusement Park with the Help of the Philidelphia Trolley Car Company. Dorney Park was featured in 2 Hollywood movies first being the (1968 film Where Angels Go Trouble Follows!) which shows a lot of the old original rides in it as well as the area around Dorney Park the second movie is the 1988 Boardway classic show (Hairspray) starring Ricki Lake tv show host. Wildwater Kingdom was the site of Dorney Park Racetrack 1956-to-1983 shutdown and removed to build Wildwater. Lot of the Old rides of Dorney were sold off to non-other Knoebels Amusement Park in PA as many of them are still active to this day. (Iron Menace) is a reference to Bethlehem Steel which is only 14 miles away from Dorney. Bethlehem Steel Mill was the World's Largest Steel Mill Ever Constructed in the world and built some of the most Famous places in the United States like the (Golden Gate Bridge) the (Hoover Dam) and the (Chrysler Building) in NYC to name a few. Iron Menace sits on the site of the old (Laser) steel Coaster that had 2 loops. At the Location of the invert Coaster known as (Possessed) was at one time the site of the Largest ever constructed public swimming pool in all of the United States, how big you ask well record says 10,000 swimmers. The oldest still active ride in the park is (the Whip) dating back to over 100+ years ago when it first opened. (Steel Force) was built back in 1998 the area where the double helix is the site of the Old (Hercules) scream machine wooden rollercoaster which was the Biggest fastest Wooden coast in all the United States ever built as found out 10yrs after construction built on a Sinkhole and the coaster sank and was forced to be removed. Fun Fact for you about (Thunderhawk) as it was rebuilt 2 times in its lifetime and the and the walkway, you're taking at 8:34 is one of the original bridges to allow the Trolley to pass under it YES I said Trolley as all American Amusement parks where built by Trolley Companies to make money on the weekends and at the end of the Line Trolley Companies would in Fact build a Amusement Park for that reason. The first part of the Trolley bridge is right as you start to go up the Main Chain hill as you can see the upper right hand side picture of the Info board saying 1924 9:04. The reason behind the Concrete area around the station to the Chain hill is that the Coaster originally was in a Building sharing a foundation with another ride next to it known as (Journey to The Center of the Earth) which was in earlier year the (Tunnel of Love) removed in 1999. The train is based off of the California Zepher as that's the name (Zepher) and has been a at Dorney Park since 1933. Tell you about a Secret Hidden ride that can still be found if you just look for the right area, the building near the standard size Log Flume ride where the Subway food shop is on the North side of the exterior of the building you'll see and area where it looks like there was an alley and the ground heads down towards the building is the Site of the (Haunted Coal Mine) walk through ride and the exit was in the Arcade in the upper part of the building removed in 1990. (Hydra) is built 100% on the Site of the old (Hercules) wooden rollercoaster the Scream Machine Removed in 1997. I hope some of this knowledge may help anyone the next time they visit Dorney as there is a lot of hidden jems in this park that people don't know that's there.
Thanks for the footage of the Whip! Was my favorite ride as a child. The only ride my mom would ride with me at Beech Bend Park. As I have said before, love the channel! 🥰
If you go to Dorney again you should get on Demon Drop. It's the drop tower at the bottom of the hill (not too far from the other drop tower you rode and the burger barn) kind of out of the way from the rest of the park, but it's one of the most intense rides in the park and they're becoming very rare.
Just wanted to comment on the great content and footage. Only a few videos in to your content and I already can tell you will be great addition to my youtube coaster watching. Thank you!
Dorney has always been considered a mini Cedar Point and is sweet, charming, clean, and your classic American amusement park. You should check out Demon Drop next time. Also May is a great month to visit but come July the park will be packed.
The Steel Yard section was added this year with Iron Menace. Also, Dorney was originally going to go with a Gravity Group Shuttle coaster. However, the new GM of Dorney decided on a B&M Mini Dive so they could keep Possessed. Had they gone with the wood shuttle coaster, they would have had to remove Possessed. Phantom's Revenge is technically a Morgan Hyper, as Morgan retrofitted Steel Phantom.
Steel Force/Mamba > Magnum XL-200. In general anyway. The thing about Magnum is, it's a great coaster but ONLY if you ride in the right row/seat. Mamba/Steel Force on the other hand, is just so consistent and smooth no matter where you sit and I think that's important! :)
I'm really enjoying this channel. As someone who only recently got over his coaster fear a year ago. I was just at great adventure yesterday. When you talk about credits, is there an app you like or use to track everything?
I see what you're trying to say but it's a stretch. That's like calling tower of terror a roller coaster. Because the car moves and lifts and drops. RCDB doesn't list it as a roller coaster so I don't. Plus Dorney Park advertises it as a drop tower and not a coaster. Plus name one RUclips vlogger that actually calls it a coaster. There's no one.
great videos but the 2 things that runed the rides music during the videos thats not the ful experince you would have on the ride and the fixed horizon on the videos dont give you the full experince other then that great videos !!
Please consider removing background music in the intro. I didn't watch the rest of the video due to it. I was happy you removed it, but It started back up 3 minutes 35 seconds in. It is totally unnecessary and very annoying.
I live about 5 minutes away from Dorney Park! This park is literally my childhood! Great memories made there. Great video and so much nostalgia.
Was hercule- *cough cough* hurt your knees any good back then?
I live like 15 minutes away!
I live 11 minutes away
i live 45😭😭

I can't believe she is so fearless. Keep the videos coming . Great as always
25:42 That trim brake hurt just to watch. Owww! Why a full stop? Reminds me of The Tooth Chipper from The Simpsons.
I love that song you made, brilliant!
Thanks for the footage of the Whip! Was my favorite ride as a child. The only ride my mom would ride with me at Beech Bend Park. As I have said before, love the channel! 🥰
Steel Force is my all time favorite rollercoaster. I absolutely love it

ThunderHawk was also in a movie about nuns in an amusement park. They ride it. I can't remember the name of it.
Awsome ! thanks for sharing..

Love Dorney!
I am a new subscriber and I love watching your videos!!! Talon is my favorite rollercoaster at Dorney Park !
Go to Kennywood for the true greatest Morgan/Arrow hyper, Phantom’s Revenge!!!
Don’t be fooled by the floorless conversions from standups like Rougaru at Cedar point! There’s a bunch of them now.
Ya it's one of my homeparks and looking at the date of the video, I was there that day 😅.
Missed them by 2 days 😧
I love that dorney park they r fr nice
Wsg g cant wait to see u at Hershey this season

You guys missed Demon Drop and their log flume. Both are super good!
Log flume didn't open til the next weekend
I live 1hr and 23 minutes away from Dorney park and I’m going for a day sometime in June or the first week of July I live in new jersey
Hydra is my favorite at dorney park!!
Hydra is 1 of 1. Completely unique design. Same for Talon!
Nice video. How do you get permission to record video on the rides?
Are y’all in PA? I LIVE THERE AND WAS THERE LIKE 50 TIMESSSSS
I seen u guys there
That s first element Hydra the revenge. Is called a jojo roll. There few other roller coaster. With that element also.
What are you using to record everything?
I'm really enjoying this channel. As someone who only recently got over his coaster fear a year ago. I was just at great adventure yesterday. When you talk about credits, is there an app you like or use to track everything?
We use Coaster Buddy. It was a free download from the App Store.
Iron Menace is good in the front row
There was an 8th credit there named Demon Drop
Demon Drop isn't a roller coaster! But they did miss it!

@@cfinkelston1023 log flumes are also creds
DD is not a credit. It's a drop tower that happens to make a full circut. Its a drop tower first.
What’s the name of the song during steel force
It is an original song I created with AI on Suno.
This needs to be the rollercoaster national anthem
Sadly Dorney dosn't get nearly as busy as most parks. Which is good and bad.
great videos but the 2 things that runed the rides music during the videos thats not the ful experince you would have on the ride and the fixed horizon on the videos dont give you the full experince other then that great videos !!
You should have ridden the Thunderhawk before 2023, when it only had buzzbars.
I like your daughters purple iPhone
No DEMON DROP??!?!! WTF
frrr when you go too dorney you HAVE to get on the drop 💀
