My primary reason for quitting sugar was because it’s been proven that it can increase the chances of some cancers and Alzheimer’s disease. Both my mother and grandmother died from complications of Alzheimer’s. (It’s horrific) This is what has kept me motivated to stay off sugar…. But I think I will purchase the book because I’m always interested in learning as much as I can! Thank you for all you do ❤

This was a fun video to watch. I have been following Jessie/Glucose Goddess for several months and have implemented most of her tips. I haven’t used a glucose monitor to check my stats but I definitely have steadier energy levels, feel more satisfied and feel better mood wise. And interestingly, it seems I have been able to break through a fat loss plateau without increasing my fasting time or heavily restricting carbs as usual. It is amazing what using her simple tips can do!

I would've loved to see more days of test... Day 3 - ACV, greens, donut. Day 4 - ACV, greens, cheese, donut. Day 5. ACV, greens, cheese, donut, and walk.

I just bought fast, feast, repeat on Amazon it is actually on sale 32% off! I have restart my fasting journey all over! But I am very hopeful because like you said it’s the restriction in most “diets” that make them unsustainable long term. I want a lifestyle not a “ diet” and fasting feels like the perfect solution to eat what you want and not feel deprived. Looking forward to getting started and seeing results.

To know if it really works for you, you'd need to repeat the experiment many times. The fact it works once doesn't necessarily mean it'll always work. Also, how was your glucose 3 and 4 hours after the meal? I've noticed exercise may play a role in lowering glucose, but once I stop, the glucose goes back up. It's just as if I had put it on pause.

You’re spike was lower with your first doughnut test, which makes me wonder if it isn’t because you might be fat adapted because of all the fasting you do? I think he was chewing gum? Maybe I saw that wrong 😂 just thinking that may have affected his spike with the first doughnut test. I’m just speculating LOL! I love glucose goddess and I have been doing her hacks for a while now. I can eat my weight in doughnuts during my one meal but I ALWAYS have ACV, veggies, and protein first. If you saw the desserts I binged on afterwards you would die because it’s A LOT! I always jump on my elliptical after dinner for at least 30 minutes to one hour. I’m a size zero so something is working. I don’t have a CGM and I’ve never tested my blood sugar but I haven’t gained any weight at all! These hacks work I’m telling you! I also take berberine and chromium with my meals so I’m sure that’s helping as well. Jackie thank you so much for testing this for all of us! It is so very much appreciated to see how it affects other people❤😊

I was eating the same or less calories, never more, i track them. I was exercising the same and fasting the same (water and coffee only I mean). I can’t find information about this anywhere. There more reasons, other than glucose to not eat donuts. From all that I have learned, about the epitome of what NOT to eat. I live near two donut shops...just look at the size of the people that frequent those places. Low nutrient density, wrong oil, heated to increase oil toxicity, carcinogenic compounds from heating carbs, , etc. One of the only foods that would cause me some acid reflux. Mind over impulses!
