    I have this in my freezer (nut free), trying to use up my basil from my garden.

    Looks so good definitely gonna try this. Never had pesto. Been looking for alternatives to use for pasta sauce besides the typical tomato sauce and cheese sauce

    Oh, I never thought of cashews. Personally, I don't like pine nuts. Therefore, I think that is why I am not a fan of pesto. Now, I will give it another try with your recipe!!! Thank you.

      Definitely use whichever nut you enjoy! Walnuts are my second favorite… really nutty and wholesome.

    Love this video & length! Thank you! I just made this & it turned out much thicker than yours. Any thoughts on why that must be or how I can get it to the liquid-like consistency as yours? Thanks again for a superb video!

      You can add more oil to a better consistency.

      I do t freeze leaves since they get butnt (turn black) so I make sauces/paste like pesto instead.

    Salted or unsalted nuts is better? Could I use spearmint instead of basil and maybe some lemon juice and zest ? Fresh and tangy, like a mojito for pasta, haha.

      You can try out different options. It's a matter of taste. 😊

    Why is the title with out nuts but u add Cashew nuts? Thats one the highy bad nuts for an allergic person bad review

    • @MOMables
      @MOMables  2 месяца назад

      The title is "without pine nuts". It's without that specific (expensive) nut that is usually in pesto. This is not a nut-free recipe.
