  • The video shows you how to clean chemotherapy residue properly to help improve safety of critical work environments. Proper cleaning minimizes contamination of IV bags and other devices in pharmacy compounding areas.
Cleaning tasks, such as wiping surfaces where a chemotherapy spill could have occurred or caused unintended trace amounts exposure, are demonstrated with the use of PeridoxRTU®.
PeridoxRTU® is a broad spectrum disinfectant and EPA-registered sporicide, bactericide, virucide*, tuberculocide, fungicide, and one-step disinfectant and hard surface cleaner with a 3-minute sporicidal claim with 99.9999% efficacy.
PeridoxRTU contains no alcohol or bleach and, unlike most other disinfectants, leaves minimal residue on surfaces. For disinfecting in the most critical of cleanrooms and controlled environments, PeridoxRTU is available validated sterile to 10-6 SAL.
Always consult with your facility for information regarding their chemotherapy residue cleanup protocols.

What would you recommend as an alternative deactivation agent for HDs? What can you recommend as an alternative sporicidal to Peridox? We have used bleach-based products and it has damaged out hoods... thanks for any feedback

@Don Howell I'm in Tennessee and was just visited by the state board. Currently there's no option other than the dreaded peridox. Though I hate the smell, I guess the bright side is it doesn't corrode the hoods like the bleach and formaldehyde cleaners I've read about. I miss the days of isopropyl alcohol and water 😪. Ps- I LOVE FAMILY GUY
