This is an introductory video for students at an educational institution to show the end of day cleaning and disinfecting. It will speed up as they gain experience. The beginning and end of day should take longer than the between patient/client turn over.
Don’t think is correct to clean the down part of the chair where you put your feet and then the holder of the chair?! usually it have to be clean from the cleaner part to the dirtier part
to fast,u must go from the cleaner surfaces to the most infected ones, dont use the water-soap from the sink, wash desinfect that gloves? i dont think so..what about the eyeglass desinfect?that bottle where everytime contamineted, brush must be desinfected, she goes from the floor to the rest of the chair ,pieces
She is too rough when comes to cleaning the unit, she needs to be more gentle cleaning the tubes. She is using same gloves and this is a no no even if she washed the gloves she is not allowed 🚫 to use them for multiple cleaning stages 😒 Each country could be different in cleaning and disinfectant procedures The steps are very good for end off the day and closing off the clinic except dental unit should be flushed longer.
Actually you need to have utility gloves at all costs. You shouldn’t be touching chemicals with normal examination gloves. If she washed the utility gloves and disinfected it. It’s okay to use. But when you’re putting on the barriers you should remove it and use examination gloves.
Very exhausting and preety useless it seems. I'd rather use a sanitizer spray which has propellent in it and spray it all over. It is going to eventually get dry on its own.
You just need to clean the working area and your instruments. Dental Chair can be sanitized with an alcohol spray. This is what I do in between every appointment. Can't waste that much time for cleaning the entire thing. So I visit my clinic early morning 6.00am and clean the chair using detol cleaner (20ml in 1l water) using a clean cloth by soaking it in the solution and squeezing out the extra. I use separate cloth for chair and other places. In this video they've used tissue paper, about which I'm skeptical.
As I said, only instrument sterilization and cleaning of working area is sufficient. Rest all can be done by an alcohol spray because it can spread evenly all over.
Bravo, you just contaminated the whole of the unit!
Thank yooooooou. I’m watching this and I’m sick to my stomach! They are teaching students too
takes 17 minutes to turn over the room with the assistant working as fast as possible- one room. This is incredibly impractical in a busy office.

And so much cross contamination

How are you cleaning off the bioburden initially prior to the spray?
