You don’t find an operator like Jerry very often. He’s one heck of a guy just like DP
Jerry is the MAN!! Mr. Dozer extraordinaire!!!
you should make temporary cover for the dozer to keep jerry out of the cold wind
That wouldn't be hard to do iether a few hundred bucksin steel and some lexan done deal...I did mine last year best money spent
You guys sure do make pretty house seats. Mr Jerry sure knows how to operate a dozer. Thanks for sharing. Keep putting the videos out because I enjoy the content.
Thanks
Dirt perfect famous last words. Jerry will never know 😂😂😂😂😂
😬😝
nice to see jerry warm up to the camera
I agree
Yeah, I have noticed he is getting a little less camera shy. He has moved from only distance shots to some midrange and the rare close shot. DP is getting him properly trained, LOL. I hate being in front of a camera myself. Very camera shy, so I understand not wanting to be videoed. It makes video chatting with family a little hard. I can do it I just don't like it.
DP - Thank you for applying for the equipment operators job. How are you in front of a camera?
Applicant - Aaaaahhhhhhhh ????????????????
Perfect job from Dirt Perfect and Gerry the Blade Runner.
Not forgetting Mat and C K.
Still loving the Intro Mike!!!
Nice job guys on this one. The Master is taking everybody to school. Mike you get a chance get that drone up for some shots, that has to be a magnificent view👍🇺🇸
Yes dp. You need to do his job. And how lucky you are too have the crew you have. Jerry is the master of blade work. Would love to see him and jpaydirt go head to head !
I think Jerry LIKES the COLD ! Now to air condition the bulldozers for the heat of summer and Jerry will make you sell the skidsteer ! WAY TO GO JERRY !
DP jumps on the dozer and a ripple goes through the force jerrys head turned slowly to look 'someones doing dozerwork without me'
What a great crew to have working with you. They are competent to superlative and can push back ,with respect, when they feel the need! Lol
When Jerry tells you to get out of the way, you get out of the way. He's just that good. Yall stay safe.
SO TRUE! haha, I got an employee like that... " I got this " he tells me.... I'm like heck, ok! every good business man has gotta trust their badass worker. if they aint badass, you probably hired the wrong one! jerry is amazing hahah love it!
Heck no! Matt has nothing to lose. That's not a wager, it's a dare.
DP Help Matt out. If nothing else it will make some great content and you know you want too Jerry they ultimate operator. Proving once again somethings just get better with age Thanks for sharing 👍
Agree not good advertisement for DP to have an employee with a pond that leaks....
It’s great to see Jerry doing his craft. So many people have no idea how hold grade without GPS let alone a grade laser or to have started out with a transit system. Holding grade to a 1/2 with your eye is a Master at work. Great content as always 👍
🇺🇸🦅🌏⚓️🇺🇸
I want a transit but funding is line level
@@bullithedjames937 I used some plastic tubing with water in it.
Mr DP have a one out standing operator on the dozer. You have to have jerry give class on his little secrets and how to fine tune to come out so great.
DP I appreciate your digging skills but Jerry runs a dozer like I run a fork to feed myself that old guy has mad skills hats off to him
It's annoying when someone can make a grade with a near 40000 pound machine better than I can with a hand rake.
Lol
Jerry and the 850, Mike and the 120, Aaron has the welder, Kleeman has his RUclips steam boat poor Matt just has a pond with no water.😂😂😂
* *chants * *fix the pond fix the pond! cmon everyone! LIKE AND SUBSCRIBE!! cmon 20,000 new subs! .... the screen flash was a lie!
Matt: DP's just gonna clean the rest up with the skid steer.........Jerry: Hold my beer.
Bingo!
Amazing how good Jerry works that dozer.
I will say it again Jerry is the beat dozer operator I've ever seen. DP fix Matt's pond.
DP , when Jerry show up you know the show starts rocking with the dozer, keep him busy men 😎😎😎😎
Cleanup after Jerry isn't using a skidsteer, garden rake or shovel. Just need a dustpan and small broom.
Hey DP, do ole' Jerry a favor : spend a few hundred $ in plexiglass, a few bolts and a door handle and spend a morning in the shop making a cab for the 850. That'll make for an awesome video and it'll keep ole Jerry from getting a cold ! ;-)
I love watching you guys all work together and I love the respect you all have for Jerry man and machine working in harmony
.
Thanks
nice one. Good job to all of you.
Jerry needs some plexiglass on front and rear of the 855 to block the wind 💨 during the winter months.
Hope you have a Blessed Day Sir.
👍I wonder if Jerry knows where the low or slow gear is on the 855. He's better at smoothing dirt than the cake decorators on baking competitions do with icing on cakes.
Heck YES DP! Do it for you helper! Would love to see the video! Thanks for sharing this!
Jerry is a master of the craft for sure- that is experience and skill- and a good eye. Mike- Matt is a good man and a good guy to have on the job - he's made you money - fix his pond.
Dang can’t Jerry do any better than that ? LOL. Heck of an operator. He’s a master of the 850
Mr.Jerry is the real deal y’all just need to get out the way. Project is looking awesome
You will never find a better dozer operater than Jerry he did a great job
Great working team to get it done.
Jerry is a superstar operator. Mike you should write his name on the dozer or something to commorate his love for that equipment.
You could have just let Jerry use the 850 and dig the basement, he would have gotten it done.
And yes, fix Matt's pond, but Matt pays for the diesel. :p
Jerry king of the hill.
Got to take care of Matt. Good man.
great job.jerry is the man
Jerry is the MAN, BUT MATT is a valuable employee that deserves a favor. Also would be a great video. I would like a video of you fixing Matts leaking pond. No doubt he will repay you DP, with some quality work. This was a good video, several machines, different jobs, good sense of humor among all and comraderie. That is what Midwest personalities are all about. From your neighbor in Illinois.
Thank you sir.
Looks like i shot my mouth off again. Damn day drinking.lol
...good job in difficult soil, stay safe..
Good morning DP and the whole crew. Let's go move some dirt. Greetings from Jamaica 🇯🇲🇯🇲
Good morning
You have an all star team!!!!
Thanks
Nothin beats an ol boy on a dozer! Gonna be a beauty spot !
Always dirt perfect
Everytime Jerry is in a video you know something amazing is going to happen and this one was no exception. He is a super star ⭐. I mean you do ok too Michael 😂. Great, great video!
Jerry on a dozer doing finish work is pretty impressive and hitting grade off just skill. Better keep that man around and have him teach some knowledge to the other guys lol
Jerry will smack your fingers for being on his dozer great job guys
Mike Jerry is making you look good.lol. good to see him getting on the camera more
Jerry reminds me of another old guy named Willie Williamson .he’d run a grade on roads going into some microwave towers and the grader guy would just polish his equipment because he didn’t want to mess up the grade that Willie did by eyeball. Guys like you , jerry and Willie make it look so easy . Pure talent that is few and far between these days.
Great job DP.
You're sure lucky to have a pro like Jerry on that dozer.
Fix that lake.
It's always good karma to help out a friend in need
Hope those basement guys know how lucky they are. Don’t be surprised if they’re all like “”Hey Mike - we got this basement job coming up and we sure would like it if you’d dig it out for us. You’re bringing Jerry, aren’t you?” Cause Jerry rocks.
Jerry and Matt should find nice dirt perfect jackets after this one....
Don't any of you have and extra large wind breaker suit. I guarantee you if it's cold with the wind blowing and you're on top of a large commercial building, a wind breaker suit makes all the difference.
Awesome video guys loved every minute of it Matt is great on the play-by-play, and Jerry well what can I say when he's on he's usually the star of the show
I have never ran that type of equipment and I don’t know much about the project you are working on but I think you are doing it all wrong 😉
Love the videos
LOLOL
Lol
Outstanding work from the team especially Jerry.
Thanks
What would you do without Jerry. Wow what an operator. Good job Mike/ Jerry
DP operates that excavator like it's his 3rd hand! I just rented a CAT 323 from United Rental and a skid steer and for the amount of money im spending they let me operate them before I rented to learn how they operate plus my brother is with me who already iperates them for IDOT (Illinois DEPT Of Trans) so itll be near learning all this when we start clearing the land for this hanger we are building
Don't need a rock bucket when you have Jerry and a dozer. I remember back in the 60's and 70's (before excavators were a widespread thing), dozers where commonly used for basements and swimming pools and such. Much faster than a backhoe, which in those days would have been the other main choice. I was lucky to have been around when old-school operators were there to learn from.
Mike great video, Jerry is the man, machine and probably the best operator around! Thanks for sharing. Kevin
from the Netherlands thanks for the video DP
Thanks buddy
Should of told him that you think its cold out there come see how cold it is here Ac blasting wide open .... Jerry is a talented man
You just about kept Jerry busy, think the cold wind knocked you for six !!! Didn't see Jerry complain, but then he is quite happy pushing spoil around all day !!
Rock bucket did the job for you, nice geology lesson too, interesting to see the different layers there.
Go and repair Mr. Millennials' dam, you supply the equipment and know how, Matt can supply the fuel for the plant and you !! 😁
If you would get a heat housier for the dozer Jerry would be happy. The last time that I saw 1 was in 1975
Who needs a skid steer when you got jerry.
Exactly
Nice 👍. I love that 850
Thanks buddy
No substitute for experience, Jerry is the man! Do it Mike! Help your employee out, fix that lake! ;)
I agree
Jerry is the man.
Nice to see everyone work together as a team ! There is no "I" in the word "TEAM" !
Great video, I know it is hard work, sure looks like fun also. Love watching, Jerry must be a good old boy. Great stuff.
Enjoy the video .
Thanks
Looks great Mike 🇺🇲
I used to run a dozer for years, but keeping grade on a slope is really hard, especially when you don't have a tree or post for reference. Jerry is definitely the best I've ever seen. DP you also rock on getting those basement grades from way above on a slope. Also not an easy task. I'm already subscribed, so how about that pond?
Jerry is good. Good video.
Thanks
When Jerry was made, they broke the mold. Couldn't make a better dozer operator! 8-))
That man makes that machine look like poetry in motion! And I am not talking about Matt or Kleeman either. On grade within a 1/2" with an 850 dozer? That is almost impossible. I have decent dozer experience, but I am no where near that good. He is the MASTER!!!!
Great 👍 job 👌 👍 👏
Thanks for sharing your videos, another great job. It is amazing to watch skilled people make difficult jobs look easy. I also would like to hear Jerry on the podcast. As far as fixing Matt’s pond, I’m confident you will do it once the opportunity arrives. Just remind Matt that he may owe you more than he can work off. As far as the count, I defer to your judgment. I personally see no reason why your count can’t reach the moon. Stay safe and warm, wishing you and your family the best.
Thanks Tom
Take care of your guys, they take care of you. Fix Matt’s pond. Heck, fix Captain Kleeman’s too
Jerry is awesome with that Dozer.
Good evening DP!
You guys have some awesome teamwork, you can tell by the quality at the job at the end.
Thanks
Gonna be a heck of a house. You building it ❓❓❓
Drone shot ❗❗❗🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
No And to windy
🤷🏻♂️. Maybe later
Do you remember the movie, "Mr. Blandings Dream House", somehow your shoveling reminded me of it ("It's a sledge, we'll need dynamite"). ;-)
Small amounts of top soil may be easy to make but top soil is kinda rare every were. Here were my house the soil is forty feet deep but only the top 4 inches will grow anything. Below that you have to fertilizer and add organics to to get anything to grow. After a few years it turns into fairly good soil.
Yup about the same here
My yard is clay and rock with like an 8th of an inch of topsoil.
Forget the subscriber statement, Mike just fix the lake for Matt
That is call old school. That is the tool used that the could get in.
Love gerry
DO IT Mike
That came out real well. Call the concrete guys.
Great video keep up the good work
Mr. Millennial deserves it man for when you get to 100k _total_ subs. I agree with another commenter, have him pay for the fuel though!
Jerry has the skills that are very difficult to teach. It’s the same at my work on a few of the different processes. You can teach a new associate how to do a process but they have to learn the “feel” on their own to get that last 5 to 10% of the process.
I agree
Good job
You know I'm seeing people take out my arm and build a frame around for the incident in front of the dozers and make a window and then put windows all the way around it by using the around but I'm using angle around to make frames with and then put glass in the frames and then set the frames in on hinges to where you can open them up take them off whatever I've even seen them put on regular door hinges for my house when I used to do auto glass for living I've seen all kinds of things on tractors
Cutting grade to within a 1/4" with a dozer that's intended for clearing huge tracts of land and digging lakes...boys that's a dozer operator right there. You can't do that by eye it's done by the feel of the machine and years of seat time.
In Oregon we call that rotten rock absolutely sucks trying to put septic systems in with that crap
