THIS...IS...THE BEST DP vid yet. This is the hilarity of real people, good as they are at what they do, learning on the job. Absolute legends, DP & Matt.
That works with 90% of everything in life... And yes I was one of them saying. It's upside down. And don't be that guy who has cut all the ropes loose. Then realizes it's upside down and tries to turn it over 😂
DP, next time you unroll tile make sure the end is on the bottom of the roll, not the top. The tile will feed off the bottom the first wrap and stay on the trailer better. Usually there is a tag on the bottom of the roll. Live and learn. Be glad you are not unrolling 12” tile!
To be honest Mat, I think the big mistake was putting pipe on the spoil pile side of the trench. I would have run them both down the open side then Mike could have slid them in with the bucket.
I am wondering if this was filmed on a MONDAY. UGH. Oh well yall got it done. Of course Chris is laughing at the cart follies. Love this stuff, keep going guys.
Mike time to get a vise mounted to the truck . You could even put it in the trailer hitch so it can be removable . This time you where close to home but next time ?????? Keep up the good work . Time is money $$$$$$$$$$$$.
@@eaglerider1826 I don't think so because he was going to change it there but it was stuck . So he took it home to change it besides I'm sure he has fitting on the truck .
I hadn't noticed just how good you are at producing these videos on your phone DP! At least I hadn't groked (Robert Heinline, "Stranger in a Strange Land" I believe) just how much talent/effort you put into making these videos interesting. The new copyright free music at the start was a great choice and nicely edited in. Once you've established what the job is like (on the dozer) you switch to high speed mode to keep our interest. Then you go on to show us how you two learn to load and run "the pipe unspooler". Then there's your usual game with NYA Millennial Matt about how close to desired depth you dug. I notice that I never see when you don't win that game. 8-)) You may be ready for a second job as other RUclipsrs' producer/director. Bravo Mike! This could have been a boring vid on doing a simple job that you have done over and over.
Nice watching that track move (after being fed grease!) I think that 90 dgre fitting should help. Matt, nice catch on that pipe and it was a cause of the type DIRT. See, part of YOU being 'ground' consultant, as I said, nice catch on the break. You did your job well & MIKE ran the "120" well per usual. Hey, the pipe is in and all is well as the DRONE confirms - NICE! Sonny
If it had an arm like a winch rewind that moves so as to slow the tile as it discharges you could prevent the tangles and if you excavator had the spool mounted on the stick you wouldn't need to rely on a separate vehicle to unroll the tile.course if frogs had wings they wouldn't bump their bellies when they hop.😊
Well, I'd suggest a beaver had been chewing on that zerk to sharpen his teeth, but it's apparent no beaver could git in that space, so am gonna have to go with squirrel, casue if your squirrels are anything like they are up here, they'll chew on sumthang just to be ornery. Hope that helped.
I constantly find it amazing a battery grease gun has the pressure to push that lead wheel out to tighten the track? Good question Budlvr; what is the pump pressure of a grease gun? 18:30 is when FARMER CHRIS BUSTED A GUT LAUGHING ! 45:00 It's either the 120 or DP; Matt had nothing to do with a falling dirt bomb
Pretty much seems like that's all you done this Summer's lay tile doesn't matter still money Lisa got those trees taken care of that's good have a good day my friend God bless🙏 PS at least you still checking your equipment that's good
DP when you going to bring the other dozer out you've been teasing us with the pictures look forward to seeing it putting use hope you had a good fourth
That's making footage today. Two drain tiles in one ditch. Once that dries out you add more hay acreage to cut. Spending some money to make more money.
Okay make a dolly wagon that is a two wheel axle with a 4” x 12”horizontal roller pipe, with a vertical roller of same size (like L shape) then on side of ditch not putting the dirt( also keep pipe on clean side of ditch) so as get going put the pipe on the dolly next to edge of ditch so you pull the dolly . The pipe picks up off ground, and rolls off dolly into ditch the weight of pipe does the work even get better tension on the pipe as it goes in the ditch. You can even pull a dolly with the small tractor you just keep the tractor and the dolly running alongside a ditch and the pipe is on that for example the ditches on the right side of the tractor the pipe would be on the left side of the tractor and as you pull the dolly the dolly picks the pipe up pulls it over and in the ditch. pipe will fall in the ditch by its own weight! I think you can get what I am saying and what the dolly would look like easy to make it!
If you only had a Monster 8" Tile digging device the size of the Empire State Building to lay this Tile !!! LOL But after watching this older video, I'm thinking you're gonna need to have a horizontal spool attachment (something like a "log trolly" wheeled contraption) to feed your Monster ... just sayin'. One note: as a Texan living in the French Riviera, I readily admit that I didn't have a clue what "Tile" was ... here or there, I still call it a "French Drain" ;)
👍As long as nobody loses a body part, it's a team glitch; not a "fault". Leave the "blame game" to the politicians and media asshats. Thanks for the video.
Mr Millennial's fault. Matt had the pipe way too close. I know the video is two years old, but I couldn't pass on Matt's challenge to use Mr Millennial 45:10 While I'm here, wow is that tile plow a lifesaver!
I think the big roll should be tilted back just a bit and then it will cling to the others and roll off. Upright and the gravity pulls it down and off. :-) Physics in me... :-) might be on up-side down on the spool trailer also.
Matt, in my day… I had to spread gravel, put 1’ clay pipe down, cut short pieces of tar paper and put over the joints, more gravel… ! Okay… don’t complain 😗
You would have to send it. No Vegimite in the states. I would venture to say most people in the States don't even have any idea what it is. God bless stay safe in the Land Down Under.
Vegimite is a vegetable based spread. Common in Australia. It is a love it or hate item. Some love it. Others hate it. It is however very healthy. God bless
@@thomasdesmond2248 I should explain. In the song "Down Under" by the Australian band Men at Work there is a line that goes like this: "I met a man from Brussels. Six foot four and full of muscles. I said do you speak ah my language. He just smiled and gave me a vegimite sandwich." That is where a back woods Alaskan like me first heard about the product.
put tile in 24" to 30" average depth in field can go 10' plus through hill . level to 1" too +2" and up on grade . you need pull tile plow behind the 850 !
Oh look the next video you posted was laying drainage pipe, now there is a coincidence!! And you say the 850 is getting long in the tooth, is that one of the reasons why you purchased a second one ? There is only one blameworthy thing for the squashed pipe, the milkshakes of course!!!! Great video Mike. The real question is. Since you purchased the new dozer are you going to rebuild the undercarriage and keep this one. As a backup. Or sell her as is. God bless
Thanks for stopping in the Derby market for a delicious milkshake.
Hope you overcharged him!

I believe that along with putting the spools on right side up would have made a big difference in your energy level at end of day……

@8:16 I'm wondering if a tree can fall back into you and what do you do to prevent it. @8:55 I get my answer! Mike, you make Q&A so easy!
Your cart needs an arm to control the tile discharge rate.😊
What’s wrong with the one it has thanks
