"Ran it through the shop" means there are doors on both sides of the shop, and the shortest route from where they unloaded it to where it was parked was "through the shop." "Cold A/C" means that the serial numbers of the various A/C parts have been checked and there is no report of any of it being stolen. (But from the color of the dust, at least the "coal mine" thing was probably true.)
⬆️ me too! Gotta like that it WAS 'RUN THOUGH THE SHOP'. 😄🤣 MIKE, didn't you notice the door on the other side? It wasn't for air flow. Obviously, now, the HOT air was from the salesmans mouth. Damn he gave you good lip service 😳
Key is when they say ran through shop you are going to buy it, ask for printout of everything they did before buying it. Even AsIs they state they check something they didn’t you got paperwork
Its ok I had a certified used machine that was so low on hydraulic oil it wasnt even in the sight glass and the hydraulic filters hadnt been changed since new... I feel your pain
With all considered, no laser pole, no grade stakes, and no measuring, thats a great job, for only eyeballing! Can't wait to see the shop job of repairs on her, fixing the A/C, filters change and fluids...You Go!
There is a fan reversing switch on the dash. You should hit that and let it blow the dust out of the radiator before each shutdown especially in dusty conditions
Sick and tired of people screwing other people over and lying about it ! Just been through exactly the same here in the UK helping a friend purchase a car for his wife. When did people suddenly stop having any integrity? 🤦🏻♂️ Loving the new dozer though, definitely keep it green and mean ! Keep up the good work Mike 🇬🇧
I know what you mean. Bought used renault out of renault dealer, was told all sorts of crap. It was rubbish of course, my fault, I knew better but still made the mistake. Won't do that again.
If you had ever really talked to a car salesman, you would understand that there is no integrity involved in their business lives, and if you know them well, precious little in their home lives ! just born like that.
When buying equipment I always have an independent mechanic inspect it. Usually charges about 4 hrs work. They will always find something and the seller always knocks down the price and the difference always pays for the mechanic and repairs. If the seller won't allow the inspection walk away.
When I bought my skid steer it was advertised with AC. When I went and looked it over I asked if the AC was wireless since the compressor was missing. They knocked $1k off the price and I took it with me.
I am really like the green paint. I am retired army 22 years. Keep the green. I work for a Volvo dealership in Mississippi and a machine will not come out of our shop with an air looking like that. I would raise hell about that and the A /C good luck.
First thing do a heavy maintenance cycle. All fluids replaced, all filters replaced, lube everything and make sure grease is actually getting to where it's supposed to go. Test coolant,I'd probably replace it as well. Dealers "gone through the shop" was probably a half ass clean and paint. Forgot: heavy maintenance cycle on that dozer will probably be $1500.00+ using JD filters and fluids. Bite the bullit and spend the coin. Will be worth it down the line.Don't forget to drain trash in bottom of fuel tank and especially check the fuel tank vent. Dang bug plugged my fuel tank vent and cost me a $2000.00 injection pump. They don't like pulling a vacuum and running dry at all.Installed a screen on the vent to make sure it doesn't happen again.
About a year ago I bought a 2007 JD 700J LT with 2100 original hours. It was never repainted. It came with a limb riser and on the back there was a brush guard for the rear window. It also came with a root rake. The inside of the cab is similar to yours, except mine has a six way blade so you can twist the control for the blade to angle the blade left or right. The air conditioner worked fine but I couldn't get any heat in the cab when it got cold last fall. I finally figured out that there is a valve on the side of the block of the engine that you have to open with a 1/4 inch allen wrench. You're supposed to close the valve in the summer when it's warm out. There should be a slot on the back of the seat with an operator's manual.
I have always passed on even looking at a repainted piece of equipment. Even an old piece of equipment will look OK if it has been taken care of. Dozer does look good though. Fix the AC and do all the fluids and filters yourself to be sure everything is as good as you can get it.
My mentor always said... "A paint job can cover a multitude of sin!" and he was right! He would hound the seller or dealer about the cost of the paint job and what they were attempting to hide that would cost him later!
I think a lot on this dozer was probably because the military paint fades really bad on those. Drive by any national guard armory and you will probably 20 different shades of tan or green from all the different ages of paint.
I will also pass on a piece of equipment on the internet if it says "call for price". That usually means if they won't post the price then it's way overpriced or if they are too lazy to post the price then they are not a company I wanna do business with.
@@jamesfranks545 I am the exact same here. But currently went from construction to the health & fitness industry and deal with a ton of shady photographers and this issue. Half list their prices for their services and the other half doesn't. The theory is that if you list your prices then you are under valuing your worth which I fully disagree with. If your know your numbers you know your costs of what it costs you to be in business and what you need to make to keep the lights on. In the auto and equipment world, there is book value. I have talked to some dealers and like photographers it is a why to get you to call and then you can tell the customer more about the item, tour services etc. But it also weeds out those who are cheap and don't want to pay fair value. I guess I wold also consider it like this... Mike - Dirt Perfect vs Chris - LetsDigIt18. I would venture to say just from what Ibsee, Chris charges way more than Mike. You don't see Chris doing much manual labor mainly sitting in his Volvo or equipment cabs. You don't see him work on stuff like Mike and others. I could follow Chris around and make a killing without him burning all the trees and brush he and other burn all the time. Which I thinknI could process enough to put on rail cars and even ship up north to where I am for further processing and still make money...
Good morning Mike . They didn't lie about the AC , It will be cold after it is repaired . Anyway I don't know if you changed the fluids yet . I would but I would also send oil samples to be tested . Maybe you can speak to your new friend at the JD dealership or your buddy Todd on that . I would send samples from all the machines it will give good insight on the engine . As you know idling is not good for any engine . Good luck with the new machine .
I think you should do a complete maintaince check up and drain all fluids even drive trans. Radiator and it worked in the coal mine check the fuel tank.
I've been looking forward to this one for a while, and it certainly didn't disappoint. Dozers have always been my jam, but never really thought of them as being "sexy". Until now. That color is great, and she looks purdy from every angle. If it were mine, I think I'd name her Natasha. Hahaha. Outstanding camera angles and editing, Mike. 26:43 - Really cool visual of the undercarriage doing its thing 27:14 - Physics illustrated. For any viewers who haven't operated a dozer, this gives you a good idea of how the machine moves under you. Sorry you got a little snowed by the dealer, but I think you're gonna be really happy with this one, DP.
That thing is a beast at pushing a blade of dirt. Love the color, sucks the ac don’t work. When you get the bugs worked out it will probably be a great addition. Thanks for sharing. The filter should have been one of the first things changed.
Olive drab....the ultimate utilitarian color....also love showing videos like this when i hear people say air filters dont make that much of a difference in the quality of the air a motor sucks up
DP we have the same kind of dealers here in Canada, nice part is they don’t last very long. Like the paint colour, might be a thought to make that your fleet colour. As most of your equipment is multi colours, yellow, red now green. This way people would know it’s you doing all the work in your area. Nice to get recognized on a job. Stay positive, test negative .
Blount out in Arizona paints all their stuff battleship grey and its a hell of an advertising asset. But its pricy to order em in gray let alone ship em out to be tore down and painted
I got a bobcat T770 this past December and I've had multiple sensor and fuse problems with it. I've had to basically replace the a/c I'm needing new rollers and tracks as well as both front and rear idlers. I found a hydraulic leak this past week and I need to get her serviced with all the filters. I feel your pain lol
When I am called for a reference for an ex-employee I have been taught that the only negative I should say is the person is on a “not-rehire” status. I’m wondering if you have placed that dealer on a “not-repurchase” status? Will you be removing their stickers? (I actually would remove the stickers like I remove the license plate frames on my work trucks cause I need to be compensated before being a rolling billboard)
I’m glad you named the shop. That’s the trouble today no one has integrity or I should say at least a lot of people do not have integrity. Hope you get it fixed soon. Talk about lipstick on a pig. No inner filter? I hope you don’t continue with a low oil warning…it must be a very important volleyball court.
''a persons WORD is all that person really *HAS* .... ( or owns) ... and without HONOR, those words, are without meaning....'' ((I remember some phylophysizer way back when in My-SOULS HISTORY said that, ...yup, heard that one, ''a few times'' ....... ;) just a slightly diff way of saying ALSMOST the exxakt same wordage ;) ))
Used to be. Used to be when a man's word was his bond in word and deed. It was a man's integrity that brought him business and more importantly kept him in business. Sadly that is in most cases no longer true. The problem is these days there is no integrity in our current culture of atheistic situational ethics. There is no God given black and white right and wrong, no morals but what the individual decides from moment to moment. Everyone does what they see as right in their own eyes. In this situation, if lying makes a sale so be it. Stealing is only wrong when someone does it to them. When they do it, it's ok. Adultery is only wrong when your spouse does it to you, not when you do it to her, etc .

When we run our D11s in the iron ore barn it takes just a few days to plug the air filters worse than yours. With a lease they’re required to do the scheduled maintenance, or at least wash the filters so they look new. My guess from experience your radiator is full of coal where it’s hard to steam clean out. They did do a nice job painting it though.
Had a similar issue when buying a used truck. The dealer ran the truck thru there shop for a full check. Within 2 weeks the ac went out, August in TX. I was agitated as they wanted to charge me about $600. (There's a long story here) After a internet review of my experience A salesman with the dealer gave me a loaner truck and took mine in and fixed it at no charge. I'm curious what the company you bought the dozer will do after your video posts.
Nice looking beast! Serviced EH! How did that filter get that dirty, well you did say the exaust was loose, maybe that did it. You can't get parts on Sunday in Indiana, poor you! Maybe you need magnetic mirrors to watch the cameras! Your military gets heavy equipment stuck and walks away, a few years back they brought 118 vehicles to a NATO training event more than 90 pieces became stuck and left behind. The stuck equipment included an assortment of D11 & D9 dozers, big excavators including one Hitachi EX 5000 series, one EX8000 series, 2 long reach excavator and many other pieces of gear
DP. Their version on running it through the shop must have been, we unloaded it behind the shop, didn’t feel like tramming it around the shop to the lot to sell, so since it was a shorter distance, we ran it through the shop straight to the lot to sell. Have to remember that next time you have to deal with them. Have a great one.
If that is like the 850j we have fixing the a.c. will be the least of your worries! We bought one cheap at auction knowing I'd needed an undercarriage and some tlc. With in a couple months we had to rebuild both hydraulic drive motors and the main pump then it started burning antifreeze. It had pin holes in cylinder liner so we had to rebuild the motor. Didn't turn out to be such a good deal! Lol. We paid 45,000 for it and put another 40,000 into it. Now it's a pretty decent machine. Pretty big step up from the 850c we had.
Personally when I buy used equipment the first thing I do is change fluids and filters no matter when it was changed last....its not cheap sometimes but just for my piece of mind and start fresh.
Mike , If they misled ( lied to ) you on the A/C and the air filter . I would probably remove the C & C equipment decals off the back . If not then you will be advertising for them on every one of your video's .
Great seeing this new dozer in action. Sorry for the bad experience with the dealer. Hopefully it won't be too expensive getting it back to "ready for the job". Thanks for another great video.
Luckily it was well taken care of. Can you imagine how that filter could have looked?? So what I’ve gathered from this is Michelle needs his A/C. He needs me as his mechanic on staff. And he’s adding entertainment “for the kids” so he can conveniently cut down on the grass that needs to be mowed. Yep nothin to see here. That’s fine. :)
Love the new dozier. Could you do a vid on how you run a grade on the different equipment? Like you were teaching a newbee. I have thought about it and I think I know but have never actually done it before, so I could be wrong. Thanks!
looks like the precleaner setup from the muffler is plugged or broken. thats the black soot we get in our tractor filters when the pre cleaner isnt working right
Need to start watching to the end before I comment. You picked up my clean and paint earlier comment. When I was fixing and selling equipment I learned early on paint sells. Problem is I hate painting so took a ding on selling prices. It's OK. I'd rather get a tooth pulled than paint.....On the dozers and tractors I did make myself paint they usually brought a $4000.00ish premium:with a $400.00 paint job. People are funny: want the bright and pretty stuff.
Salvation it seems that the blade has been doubled that would translate much more than 6000 h or at least a difficult use, when with the Air filter it is a shame the 2 must be changed, personally I would make a big preventive revision of this machine thoroughly in all corners including all Fluids to be quiet
I like the military green. We had 2 same exact dozers on last log job i worked they done fine other than some blade issues but where in southern WV with lots of rock. 👍🏻👍🏻
C&C Treated you like a cheap Prom date 😋 GPS ready, cab tilts for service (Sweet) but I would fully service and drop the belly pans in your shop to get a baseline. Nice addition would be a ripper, they come in handy.
Disclaimer: I'm old. I'm real big on manufacturer issued shop, repair, parts, and operator manuals. Spent thousands over the years for hard copies of all. E-bay,Amazon,dealerships are all good sources.I like the hard copies and not downloads from net. Want them in my hand so I can flip back and forth between pages. Has saved me too many repair hours to recall and got me from head scratching to completing a repair without calling for help.Long way of saying get some manuals for the new dozer.
I see Old Sarg is getting it done DP! Anything OD green warms my heart. My blood type is still that color after a few years out of service. Great job as always, stay safe.
They probably did run it through the shop, but It was probably "the new kid" someone should have checked his work though, obviously. Still a badass dozer!! I can't wait to see more of it. Great video Michael.
I just had a truck tire replaced by a "dealer". First the white lettering was turned toward the inside of the tire. There were three others with the lettering toward the outside. After I drove it, the new tire vibrated very bad. I used to balance tires and I can tell. The service manager said it was a new employee and was SURPRISED that I noticed it. I wonder if he notices that I will NEVER be in their chain store again.
Like the new to fleet Dozer, army green looks great, it will get HOT 🔥, (work on army helicopter for 19 years and still at today , if it's 70 out in the sun the paint going to feel like 85).. keep on digging !!
I wonder who they got to put the track on the right way? Apparently they do not have any mechanics in their shop based on the inspection they did on the dozer.
Guess id have walked away if a track was on BACKWARDS. But its RUclips and this guy is getting monetary value for buying a dozer with a track thats backwards 💩💩💩💩🤦♂️🤦♂️👍🤦♂️
Nice dozer DP. Take it from a old timer that worked on strips most of my 30+ years. That filter hasn't been changed in awhile. And would have been throwed away !! You get black lung from that filter and it did block the sun out lol !!!! And the ac with a hole in the cond???? And we're it's located at ??? How did it get there. Tree limb ??? But all in all a very good mechine. O and the track on back words really !!! I think your kids would do a better job going over a mechine than those guys did. Filter + tracks + air + whatever else you find. Yes your kids would do a better job. Bad thing is those are normal maintaince that you can't miss unless you did not do it. No call for that stuff being missed. Did you have to use the skid to clean up that coal dust !!! Lol. Nice vid Mike.
Yeah they didbt run it threw there shop, c&c that is!! If they did they didn't look at the filter, that's common sense, when doin maintenance on a machine, check the damn air cleaner, I would be pissed too, an the AC should be working, lie was a lie, well theres gonna be 1000s of people that see how they work at there shop now, none the less Mike, that dozer is a freaking beast, love the military green, Man she sounds good under load, she grunts good
First thing to do, is remove that C&C Equipment sticker from the side of that awesome color machine. Maybe its time to add a cool Dirt Perfect logo in its place. Why give free advertising to them.
They ran it through the shop. In the front door and out the back door, without stopping. I would not believe anything they said. My first question is why was it painted?? I buy, repair and sell used JD equipment all the time. I am always cautious when I buy something that was freshly painted. It looks nice, but what is the paint hiding. Part of my inspection is air filters. I never believe the statement " fully serviced".
I noticed on top of the blades on the very end there was a flat spot there ithere is I wonder if that's for lasers or you know something to be able to level the property with even GPS
My front license plate on my work truck reads, “ I’D RATHER RUN AN OLD JOHN DEERE THAN A NEW CAT ANY DAY!!” 💪 I been running dozers since I was 8 years old for my dad, I’m now and have been for 6 years yesterday actually been a operator out of 181 operating engineers just turned 40 this year, so I can say I’ve ran em’ all pretty much, DEERE WINS EVERY TIME, EVERY TIME!! They’re my favorite hands down if you want a dozer for life, if you want your money back in 3-5 years buy a cat and suffer thru it till you sell it then BUY A DEERE!!👊 nice dozer boys worth fixing what’s wrong 👍👍
That is a nice Dozer it matches your truck they would look good together they did Shaft you on the bulldozer but they're easy fixed they should have told you but they're like a car salesman they'll rookie out of anything they can but my friend that's life but it sure looks nice too I hope it gets a lot of work done for you have a great day my friend God bless🙏👍
"I think it's going to be a nice dozer once we get all the bugs worked out". Yes it will and you da man for that. Needs some TLC from an owner and not a hired hand. Owners care about equipment. Hired hands care about Fridays check.
He is not the only one! I do work the State and have a Dodge pickup and a Freightliner assigned to me which both are 4 yrs old and look like new! I keep them washed, waxed, polished and trust me, if someone else drives them, my supervisors forewarned them to bring them back in the same condition as they don't want to hear me bitch! If they do and it is messy... I know they are "work" vehicles, but we do not work for a trash company!... my supervisors will have them out their cleaning them! Our Cat and Bobcat skid steers, Bobcat, Kobelco, Case mini hoes, you better have the tracks clean and washed out and cabs clean! Or they are cleaning it! It is not to say you can't run it in mud or do what you need to do, but take care of it! They may not keep stuff in a pristine condition as me, but our facility is credited for having the cleanest shop best equipment. I'm not just an employee, but a tax payer and my taxes helped pay for it! Dumps and equipment is on a 15 year cycle or has to meet year, hour/mileage and/or repair cost before we can send it to the sale. For example, we had 1996 Ford F350 1 ton dump with a 7.3L diesel in it and only 85,000 miles. We just got rid of it last year as it didn't have enough miles or engine hours prior, barely any any repair cost other than brakes, tires filers, etc . So that is why we had to keep it that long! A Bandit chipper was 28 year old and just over 600 hours. I'm sure I don't nee to say that the salt eats things up.
I love the look keep it green. Oh and I agree if you advertise it work it should. If it don’t don’t advertise it doesn’t. That faults information to miss lead a buy. I not sure but could cost them in court
caveat emptor, let the buyer beware: the principle that the seller of a product cannot be held responsible for its quality unless it is guaranteed in a warranty. when they said the ac was good, they meant, doors open and moving ... chuckles
Whoa! Hold on here. Let's NOT play C & C Equipment 2.0! First under federal law there is a 3 day buyer's remorse protection. Some states even have Lemon Law... fixing the same thing 3 times . Plus you have what is called Unconscionable sales act or practices as well as deceptive business practices... Read this carefully!! " No supplier shall commit an unconscionable act or practice in connection with a consumer transaction. Such an unconscionable act or practice by a supplier violates this section whether it occurs before, during, or after the transaction." Did you get that... before, during or after? Additionally, it is likely Mike's 3 days are up and Lemon Law is irrelevant and he bought "As Is". I am sure C & C Equipment has a dealer license and a complai.t can be filed against their dealer license. Further if he has any documentation that shows it was checked and working bit not and like the air filter in the shape it was here, that is deceptive business practices!
I understand buyer beware. I find it sad that businesses have such little self respect that, once they have your money, they don't know who you are. When I bought my Kubota, part of my selection was the reputation of the dealer. They have been great, and have stood behind the sale for all reasonable issues. I don't expect carte blanche, but a little customer care is good business practice.
@@utubota5522 you are so right. I have found I need to do my research b/4 deciding where I am going to buy and who not to deal with; especially now that I am in a wheelchair. I was in a accident in 1997 and needed to buy a new handicapped van in 2016. I can tell you I would NOT ever buy from VMI again; we bought the van from them. I bought used (the van only had 34,219 miles on it), so I paid for an extended warranty. I made sure to get a printout of all service done for my records and got a mechanic to do a thorough inspection with my husband (also a Diesel mechanic). Everything checked out and other than the undercarriage being dirty (this would turn out to be important later), it was in very good condition with very low mileage. When I took it in for an oil change at my local Brawn Mobility Dealer, less than a month later, the mechanic came back to talk to me because “I hadn’t ever changed the oil!” I told him I had a printout of all service records from the VMI dealership, he asked where the printout was and I told him it was in the glove compartment. He asked me and my husband to come out to the service bay and my husband got the printout for him. The Brawn mechanic then put the van in the air and showed both of us the fact that the oil cap had never been taken off! The paint had never been broken since the oil pan had been put on in the factory. The whole team at Brawn helped us get some of the money back from VMI because they had lied about the service that had been done. They then went above and beyond and checked the engine for signs of damage to the pistons (I forget the name of the part that makes the pistons go up and down) which entailed them taking apart the engine block. Everything was ok, thank the Lord. Needless to say when I needed a new van, because I was broadsided by an uninsured driver who ran a red light, we bought from them. Even though my husband can service my new van, we take it in once a year and pay for them to do a full check on the handicapped equipment. When people ask where to buy an accessible vehicle I tell them to go see Brawn. It truly has become “buyer beware.” 😕
Here after the “short clip” was posted about C&C reaching out to want to make things right between y’all. And after watching this, I’d be expecting a COMPLETE SERVICE done, on their dime. Fluids, every fluid. Filters. Greased up. And the damn A/C system fixed and working. Oh and unless they have a mobile mechanic, they pay Captains wages to haul it down there to them. I’m all about working together when problems arise but if YOU didn’t have such a HUGE FOLLOWING, you would’ve been kicked to the curb if you tried calling them. Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me but there will not be a third time. They lied about servicing so that’s once, since the lied and you looked at wear parts etc, that’s twice, this needs fixed. They don’t understand what the power of the internet does when you have such a following in this line of work. I don’t know about you but plenty of companies are always looking to update some sort of equipment and those are lost customers. Hope to see you done right and not left hanging. Even though we are a month behind lol
Who needs ac the filter is a nothing burger how do you know what kind of deal they made some customers you can't make happy no matter what you do this guy is a crier it looks like a nice dozer to me its doing the job and I dont see him dripping wet
They ran it thru the shop. Right in the front door and straight out the back. You would think they would check these things but obviously.whoever did the check over did a crappy job of it. I would say its cnc but it could be the employee that did it was just a slacker. Unfortunately theres alot of that going on in the world today. They are on the job for a paycheck and thats it.still a nice machine overall. Good luck and god bless
I have seen several videos on your channel with Chris from C & C and the condition of the 850J is Shocking! I read through the comments and saw there are none from c&c chris which surprises me not at all. That coal mine air filter alone says more than chris will ever say. I wouldn't run a Tonka Toy through c&c's shop.
The words "Caveat Emptor" come to mind. And don't forget "Hind set is 20/20". The major purpose of any dealer of anything is to buy CHEAP and sell at the BIGGEST profit possible. "As/is and shown" means once they have your money they're done. Good Bye! Good buy you hope. Perhaps this dealer will be shamed enough to 'man up' like that John Deere guy. Should have saved that coal dust for winter heat. That had not been serviced for a looonnng time. I'd give that thing a very good inspection after that B.S. Look good, seems to work good from here. Thank you for the "heads up" on those C&C A** H****. Now I have Case 580 to work on. Later.
Disappointed in C&C to say the least There shop guy should be back sweeping floors You cant miss things like that and think your doing your job They may have run it through the shop but that was literally probably right down the middle and out the door Thanks for sharing Mike 👍
Got stung on a truck I bought. 40k $ used dually with a cummins. Dealer stated it had been put through a 32 point "inspection". Oil and fuel filters changed along with front brake pads and rotors, GREAT!! Let them slide on the air filter, no big deal. Two weeks later. AC quit working, grrr. Then that same day I was coming home and at the bottom of a long hill I had to slow to make a sharp right turn. Hit the brakes and the pedal went to the floor. Had the truck towed directly to the dealership. It took two days and three mechanics to cut off and remove all the brake components from the rear. They weren't going to repair the A.C. Because it was a used truck. Turns out I had found that according to federal law the A.C. Has to be warrantied for 50k miles because it's tied into the defroster, safety issues.

If you had ever really talked to a car salesman, you would understand that there is no integrity involved in their business lives, and if you know them well, precious little in their home lives ! just born like that.
Would be good for you to watch a movie named Flywheel. It explains well what makes the difference between a person having or not having integrity.
Yea people hate it when they really can’t blame others for their lackluster inspection and end up getting burned.
And so they start! One thing after another! Family compound is sweet!
They knocked $1k off the price and I took it with me.
wireless a/c hahaha . nice discount bro
That is one company that would never see my business again.... Go Army Surplus!!!
"gone through the shop", they drove it in the front door and out the back door.
@@MrCarl312 too funny :)
Excellent advice. Do a complete service as an initial place of reference.👌
Yup kinda like military grade. It means if it just barely passes spec its golden at basement price
i would not use jd filters the last i got were not american cat or baldwin nothing else and yes 1500 at least to service it i did my cat 2ooo
I would but I would also send oil samples to be
tested . Maybe you can speak to your new friend at the JD dealership or your buddy Todd on that . I would send samples from all the machines it will give good insight on the engine . As you know idling is not good for any engine . Good luck with the new machine .
Lol true
Leave it Green and also do LT Dan in the same green and the rest of the fleet. 😎 Smart looking machine
You did a great job leveling that big of area down, just eye balling it. So you are level headed, not everyone can do that. Great job, done !!!
26:43 - Really cool visual of the undercarriage doing its thing
27:14 - Physics illustrated. For any viewers who haven't operated a dozer, this gives you a good idea of how the machine moves under you.
Sorry you got a little snowed by the dealer, but I think you're gonna be really happy with this one, DP.
Thanks!
That thing is a beast at pushing a blade of dirt. Love the color, sucks the ac don’t work. When you get the bugs worked out it will probably be a great addition. Thanks for sharing. The filter should have been one of the first things changed.
those power reverser trans really help productivityand operator!!!
I love the Military green! Just be careful in hunting season!!
I can get rather expensive to have one fleet paint scheme. It is all part of the image it looks good if you can do it.
(I actually would remove the stickers like I remove the license plate frames on my work trucks cause I need to be compensated before being a rolling billboard)
agreed ! i never let them put stickers/plate trims when i buy a vehicle . they aren't paying to advertise .
A man's word is a man's word and there must be integrity.
Agree
''a persons WORD
is all that person
really *HAS* .... ( or owns) ...
and without HONOR,
those words,
are without meaning....''
((I remember some phylophysizer way back when in My-SOULS HISTORY said that,
...yup, heard that one, ''a few times'' ....... ;) just a slightly diff way of saying ALSMOST the exxakt same wordage ;) ))
In today’s law you can have a legally binding contract via word

⬆️ 🤔 perhaps give him another (old) air filter.
He a beaut Mike as for the shop get A for paint an F for the other stuff God bless y'all from South Carolina viewer
I agree with you if they make claims. Then those claims should be true.
Thanks
Your totally right about the deal....Looks like the original air filter, great looking dozer... enjoy
Thanks
Mike , If they misled ( lied to ) you on the A/C and the air filter . I would probably remove the C & C equipment decals off the back . If not then you will be advertising for them on every one of your video's .
The good news about the air filter...it must have been a good one....look at all the stuff it stopped. 😂
At least paint over it!
That is the best looking Dozer of any brand out there. The color and look is bad ass !!!!
Awesome video! Sad to see how well there mechanic's are! That filter was in bad shape! I hope you get it ironed out! Thanks for the video!
Jason, you know him too well!
I thought is was less leaves in the fall
we ran 450j s as fire plows. the air filter on the cab had to be changed alot from the smoke dust combo.
Good video again looks like it will be a good dozer when you get it all Fix up my friend good good operating 850 dozer keep up The hard work be safe
Love the new dozier. Could you do a vid on how you run a grade on the different equipment? Like you were teaching a newbee. I have thought about it and I think I know but have never actually done it before, so I could be wrong. Thanks!
looks like the precleaner setup from the muffler is plugged or broken. thats the black soot we get in our tractor filters when the pre cleaner isnt working right
It’s new thanks
Need to start watching to the end before I comment. You picked up my clean and paint earlier comment. When I was fixing and selling equipment I learned early on paint sells. Problem is I hate painting so took a ding on selling prices. It's OK. I'd rather get a tooth pulled than paint.....On the dozers and tractors I did make myself paint they usually brought a $4000.00ish premium:with a $400.00 paint job. People are funny: want the bright and pretty stuff.
👍
Wow, that hunk of land would make a great campground !!

it seems that the blade has been doubled that would translate much more than 6000 h or at least a difficult use, when with the Air filter it is a shame the 2 must be changed, personally I would make a big preventive revision of this machine thoroughly in all corners including all Fluids to be quiet
I like the military green. We had 2 same exact dozers on last log job i worked they done fine other than some blade issues but where in southern WV with lots of rock. 👍🏻👍🏻
That color is super super cool. Except Jerry might be able to hide from ya in it 😂. Awesome rig man! Sucks they gave you the runs round though.
Lol thanks
Good suggestion!
all that paint work took away from the check over to bad.you will find more. it is nice. you will get it fixed rite. cheers buddy.
So is the volleyball court going to be grass or sand? God bless

Good morning DP. Been waiting for this one. Let's rip some dirt 🇯🇲 in the house
Sorry! Asked the question before watching your video🤬. But I love your no BS commentary!👍
Nice looking machine. On the issues it could be classed as not advertised
Keep the green! I like it!
I bought a track hole and had the same thing they were going to fix the a/c be for shipping it they just loaded on a trailer and sent it
When your main operator, only requires one thing. "Diesel fuel" Jerry will tape a mask on that beast and keep pushing. Congratulations!
Lol yup
If they did they didn't look at the filter, that's common sense, when doin maintenance on a machine, check the damn air cleaner, I would be pissed too, an the AC should be working, lie was a lie, well theres gonna be 1000s of people that see how they work at there shop now, none the less Mike, that dozer is a freaking beast, love the military green,
Man she sounds good under load, she grunts good
That green will look good with the Mack & Lt. Dan. Nice dozer. Thank you for sharing
First thing to do, is remove that C&C Equipment sticker from the side of that awesome color machine. Maybe its time to add a cool Dirt Perfect logo in its place. Why give free advertising to them.
amazing to watch a dozer spin!! that's some balls!!
You took the words right out of my mouth, Fully Serviced....... out the back door. 😁
@@maxium4x4 I was a JD tech. I would have been fired for letting it go as fully serviced. The paint job was very good. The service was a joke.
DP nice work out for the 850J. Time to remove C&C sticker!! Nice addition to the fleet👍🇺🇸
No different than buying a used car, they will tell you whatever you want to hear knowing that most people won’t look any further then the outside…
Yeah, true but come on, a FILTER "THAT BAD"!!! Being MIKE, at least he checked all that really matters! Take care.

Such an unconscionable act or practice by a supplier violates this section whether it occurs before, during, or after the transaction."
Did you get that... before, during or after?
Hey dp. I believe-You can adjust the valve flows to the sensitivity you like for the blade speed

Lol
Later.
Nice looking dozer I ain't never seen a filter that dirty It was run through the shop in one door and out the other quickly
“Slightly false advertising “ is an understatement, it was blatant.
I like it the color make it look like a beast call it the Green Reaper
