I used the Red in my gas generator that I keep for power going out in storms and the fuel has been in it for five years and still works. Still going to replace it with new fuel this year but was very impressed with this product and will be using it again.

I've used the original one and the two stroke for years and I didn't start my push mower for 3 years and when I did start it it only took two pulls to start, I put the two stroke in my tiller and outboard motors and have never had a problem, love your products
I have used StaBil red and Pennzoil Synthetic two stroke engine oil in the one gallon gas tank I use for my old Sears two stroke snow blower for TWENTY YEARS. I don't empty the tank after the winter season because I like to crank the motor up every two or three months to run it to lubricate the whole inside of the engine and reseal it. I run it a little rich on the Pennzoil and maybe a little rich on the Red Stabil but she smokes while shes cold and then cleans right up when she gets hot. Sounds like a demented chainsaw blowing the snow. Now,I am thinking of buying a carbuerated Yamaha Star 650 motorcycle that are known for the carbs getting gummed up by ethanol. The Stabil 360 ethanol treatment will go in every tank even if I find some no ethanol gas.
After adding the recommend amount of product, remember to run the the vehicle(s) for 5 minutes so the entire fuel system is protected. There are also a few other factors to consider for storage: Remember to use fresh fuel. A fuel stabilizer will only keep the fuel fresh at the current start it is at (no product will make bad gas fresh again). Ethanol blended fuels can begin to break down around 30 days (and non-ethanol is around 90 days). And store the vehicle(s) with a full tank of fuel (about 95% full) - this will limit the amount of air and moisture in the fuel tank. I am switching to 360 first time on my Honda GW DCT. I seems to be better for the Winter shutdown. I have been a fan of the regular Stabi for years, no issues.
Because of the pandemic my industry is in temporary shut down, I'm on unemployment so I had to make some personal budget cost cutting decisions in order to get through this rough time. I decided to switch my car to parked car insurance, and move it to the parking pad (living through winter in northern Canada). I've purchased the Sta-Bil Storage and a MOTOPOWER trickle charger. I plan to turn the engine on for 5 minutes and roll the car forward and back on the parking pad for the tires every few days. Does anyone have any other advice I can follow? I have no experience with cars, I've been watching all the videos and reading all the how-tos I can. I just need to keep my sweet baby car alive through the winter until my job comes back and I have the finances to drive her every day again!
@@h8GW And it worked out! Thanks for commenting and reminding me of this, I forgot about how bleak and frustrating things were for me 4 months ago. I got hired for a new job last week, so I restarted my car insurance and took my car into a mechanic to get a once over before I started driving it and my sweet baby car is in great condition and ready to drive :) Tires are good, no bald spots; fuel lines are good no issues with the gas tank sitting with the same fuel for too long; battery is operating perfectly
Hey, I have to store my cars for months when I travel or vacation - 1) Use Marine 360 (it's a better version of the regular 360, lasts twice as long) and fill up on PREMIUM gas only (from Shell, Chevron or Costco - they have no Ethanol in their premium so you don't have to worry about water forming or damage ethanol causes, also get more detergents and stabilizers in it). 2) A battery trickle charger is a great tool, I would also disconnect the battery cables to prevent parasitic draining (just place them back, tighten back down very easy). 3) Check all your fluid levels (except for brake fluid, unless it's below Min). Check for any leaks, coolant level, 4) Jack the car up and place the frame on 4 jackstands (first do the front 2, then the rear 2). This takes care of the tire issues so they won't get flatspots and crack out in the sun, as well as taking the load off the struts/springs. You can also use something like "Dry Coat" to spray down the brake rotors as they'll likely rust quickly (or be sure to turn the car on every few days, have the wheels spin a bit and use brakes to clear off any surface rust 5) Get Silicone Lube Spray and Grease, lubricate areas that your manual indicated (especially rubber parts!)... Spray or grease the weatherstripping to keep it from degrading/shrinking/cracking and prevent water getting in. Other than that get a sun shade panel for the front and rear windows and washer he car, then apply a good wax to protect the paint as well and consider a car covert. Doing this you'll never have an issue.
I learned the hard way before I found out how important fuel stabilizers are. I had a 2005 Mercury 15 hp Four Stoke out board. The manual never mentioned to drain the fuel from the carb. I do everything to the manuals. It ran terrible the next spring I didn’t realize it was fuel related. I was stupid. Stupid me. I blamed the engine as being fussy. The boat and outboard people should really explain this to new buyers and emphasize this issue. This should be so important that it’s on the cover of the manuals and full pages just dedicated in bright colors so it’s known. So I got rid of the engine and got an 1989 Johnson 2 stroke. Since then I got a pontoon with a 50 Yamaha high thrust with fuel injection. I used Seafoam for years. I’m in Minnesota so Seafoam rules in this state. I’m went with Red Sta- Bil since spring in everything, 2 stroke chainsaw, outboards, and all mowers. It’s working great. Next spring I’m going to use that Amber 360 for ethanol. It must be a great product because it’s sold everywhere. Sta-bil goes along way vs Seafoam. I trust that chemistry guy on the new Sta- bil video. Simple instructions.
Unhook the fuel line or turn the fuel off and let the fuel line / carb run dry. You won’t have to worry about buildup in the carbs as there is nothing left! Just shut the fuel off with the motor running until it dies of fuel starvation.

I store 5- 5 gallon cans of gasoline in my shed with the red Sta Bil storage one. I can get about 2 and half years of storage with it. I put blue painters tape on all my gas cans so I can put the date on them when I fill them up. Probably can get longer with it but I will switch it out after 2 and half years by pouring what left in my cars gas tank. I use the gas for my Generator, snow blow and lawn mower.
That's the best way to do it by treating the gas cans! Then anything use pour it into, the fuel is already treated. Thank you for sharing with us and we appreciate you using STA-BIL!
Just bought a new tractor style mower from a dealer who suggested adding even mid-summer, but didnt stress to not add directly to tank. Thanks, how important is it to add stability into gas can before pouring fresh gas to mower tank?

I plan to use my motorcycle may be once or twice a month to ride it for about half an hour( aprrox 50 km ) only to charge the battery. We get E10-E20 fuels. So I will be using about one tank of gas for 5-6 months. I plan on doing this for the next few years with probably one or two long rides in a year. Which would you suggest to use? The storage or 360?
so its perfectly fine to use stabil 360 for a vehicle that will sit with a full tank from november-april. so i would say 360 is the better option as im not storing a car for more then a year, just the winter months.
I keep 3, 5-gal containers of fuel in my garage all the time but cycle them through our SUV about every 3-4 months. I live in Florida and the containers are preparation for a hurricane emergency where gas might become unavailable. I cycle them so the gas doesn't go bad. I could see a scenario where the gas might have to sit for more than 4 months. Our garage is hot and humid - it's South Florida. The gas is usually 10% Ethanol, I fill the cans to the top and keep them air tight. With all that going on, which Sta-Bil product would you recommend, if any. I would also like to keep some Sta-Bil in my emergency pantry (inside the house) for a potential SHTF event that lasts considerable longer than 1 year (there's a little prepper in me). Thanks for any tips.
Great question. Sorry that I don’t personally have an answer for you, but I’m curious what others with more knowledge on this topic will write because I used Sta-bil 360 on a 5 Gal. gas can that’s been in storage since mid- March 2022 and I live in the desert (dry summer temps average in the mid to high 90s). I stored the gas can outdoors in a small shed.
STA-BIL Brand 0 seconds ago Hi Byron. For your situation, you can use our STA-BIL 360 Protection (1oz treat 5 gallons). This will help fight any ethanol issues and will also keep fuel fresh for up to 12 months. If you would like to store for more than a year, we recommend our STA-BIL Storage which will keep fuel fresh for up to 24 months. Hope this helps! Let us know if you need any additional help.
Does red STA-BIL Storage prevent ethanol issues? We 'only' have fuel with ethanol in Canada! Appreciate any help. I want the best stabilizer to store my vehicle this winter. Thanks@@STABILBrand
@@joecola6487 Yes - 2oz of STA-BIL Storage would treat 5 gallons. If you are treating your fuel with STA-BIL 360 Protection, it would be 1oz for the 5 gallons.
"360°® keeps fuel fresh for up to a year. STORAGE up to TWO years. The difference is that 360°® Protection is meant for year-round use, and has added fuel system cleaners, water removing properties, and corrosion control." That says it all.
I like your comment. The gas in a van given to us one year ago - the van has sat for nearly the entire time ('06 Chev van with 6.0L V8) and the gas tank has not less than a half tank. No gas has been added. Should the tank be drained? Will adding the 360 Sta-bil additive and filling up remove all fuel-system concerns if the van is driven often afterwards?
@@horsewnoname872 My understanding is that Stabil needs to be added with fresh gasoline. It suppose to prevent from water build up. With that said, I don't think it suppose to revive any old gasoline.
Watched the whole video. What's the difference? Sounded almost like they both do the same job or do I need to use them both at the same time? I sell and service outdoor power equipment. Toro, Scag, etc. Would love to recommend your product but it's confusing.
Both STA-BIL 360°® Protection and STORAGE stabilize the fuel, that's correct. 360°® keeps fuel fresh for up to a year. STORAGE up to TWO years. The difference is that 360°® Protection is meant for year-round use, and has added fuel system cleaners, water removing properties, and corrosion control. Sounds to us like recommending STA-BIL 360°® Protection would be the best option. We also advise to add it to reserve gas cans at every fill up. This way you're pouring treated fuel directly into your equipment, and don't have to worry about it going bad while it sits.
STA-BIL that’s why I don’t recommend the product. Your response is the problem. Why would anyone EVER use the regular Sta-Bil if the 360 does the same thing and more? Sorry, just too confusing and still, well, to confusing and it appears you as a company don’t even know. If the older stuff does less but does the same thing blah blah blah. Hi Mike, I've used STA-BIL storage for years along with ethanol free fuel to power all my small engines with great results ( I used it every time I filled up, not just for storage). However, the ultimate test will be in the following years since legislation require all fuel sold in Canada to contain ethanol as of 2022. The instructions state that 30 ml of the product treats up to 9.5 l of fuel which suggests that you might want to use more. Can I double the dose and use 60 ml to treat 9.5 l of fuel ? Might there be any harm in doing so ? Thanks for the informative video
Hi Gerry. Thank you for the comment. We would recommend our STA-BIL 360 Protection product. This is formulated and designed for ethanol-blended fuels, E5-E85. This formula contains extra corrosion control, water removers and a P.E.A complete fuel system cleaners. We work with many OEMs to make sure our formulas are the best they can be to proactively prevent ethanol fuel related issues. We also recommend to go by the appropriate treat rates for each product. Hope this helps!
I have a new John Deere riding mower coming tomorrow. Typically I would run the tank and the carburetor dry for the winter. The dealer tells me at the last mowing to top the gas tank up completely to illuminate condensation then add 360 in it, which would be circulated through the carburetor. Would there be any harm in adding extra 360 over the recommended amount such as may be double?
There will be no harm by adding extra of STA-BIL 360 Protection. And yes - you can top the tank at the end of the season to help eliminate the amount of mositure and condensation in the fuel tank (make sure to run the mower for a few minutes so the product gets into the entire fuel system). Lastly, there are fuel system cleaners in the product as well so you can use throughout the mowing season so you don't have to wait till the last mowing to use 360 Protection. Let us know if you have any other questions. Have fun with the new riding lawn mower!
I wouldn't use any of them. I have switched to Seafoam after seeing Stabil settle to the bottom of the fuel bowl and turn into a white powder, where it was useless. Since then I use Seafoam in all my engines and mix with gas to keep carbs clean, clean fuel injectors and as a fuel stabilizer during storage. All my engines start right up after long storage and the carbs never need cleaning. Seafoam is the best!
Thanks for watching however we stand behind our products. We have our products (and competitors) tested by a third party for corrosion and fuel stability. You can learn more about the process here and see the results yourself that STA-BIL is the leader in both categories. www.goldeagle.com/stabil-test-data/. And what you are describing is the results of ethanol and water in the fuel system - STA-BIL will not cause a "white powder". STA-BIL is the best and is America's #1 fuel stabilizer.
I have a ram truck with the 6.4 hemi. It runs somuch better on ethanol free gas. I generally get 1-2 mpg better just running ethanol free gas. If I add the stabil 360 directly into the tank will it make the standard pump gas act like ethanol feee gas? Or is that not made for what I’m explaining?
In general cars will feel like they run better with ethanol free fuel as compared to ethanol blended fuels due to the fact when ethanol is introduced you lose a certain amount of "energy" due to the alcohol in the fuel. Our 360 Protection will not change the properties of ethanol blended fuels. It is acted to reduce the negative effects it could have on an engine like corrosion due to water and stabilizing it in tanks that don't get fresh fuel within 30 days or so. You will see MPG gains using our 360 product as it does contain PEA fuel system cleaners as well, which would be the largest benefit to you it seems.
@@mcr5645 I always liked the Taurus SHO, especially the earlier ones. It's not very fast by today's standards, but still quick enough to be fun, practical enough to be usable, and something unique and different that you aren't going to see on every corner like a Camry. The newer SHOs never interested me much though.
We would recommend STA-BIL 360 Protection which keeps fuel fresh for up to 12 months, prevents corrosion caused by moisture from ethanol-blended fuels, and cleans the entire fuel system of engines with PEA additives (great for cleaning direct injector tips).

Can't find a simple yes or no answer to the question, can you use both products at the same time. I'm assuming yes, because if you use the red when gas is in storage then want to use that gas in your machine with 360...???
It's odd that when referring to using 360 Amber with ethanol-based gasoline that the person filling the red can at 1:42 is using the green DIESEL nozzle.
Hey Mike, my weekend car is an '18 Porsche 911, which is not driven very regularly. I usually fill up the tank, and sometimes I can go up to 3 months with the same gas in my car. Unfortunately, I can no longer find ethanol-free gasoline where I live. Will STA-BIL 360 help protect my car? Thanks
Thanks for asking! Yes. This is the exact use case for STA-BIL 360 Protection. It will keep fuel fresh for up to 12 months, whether that gas is in your tank or in a gas can. It also is outstanding at preventing corrosion caused by ethanol-based fuel.
Yes, STA-BIL products have a shelf life. 2 years from opening or 5 years unopened from the manufacturing date code. Here is a video explaining how to read the manufacture date code: ruclips.net/user/shortsIt2YqK4WAgQ
What would be the best stabilizer for a motorcycle (not sure about the tank material) that is kept as an art piece but it would be started once a month or so? (But no riding just idling) just to prevent the issues with the ethanol and moisture/corrosion? Stabil storage or 360? Also is it better to just put a bit of treated gas in the tank (and add when needed) or fill the whole tank with the treated fuel? In the video your expert says that the storage should be put directly in the fuel tank and the 360 in the gas can for small equipment. So in my case the good one is the “storage” would you put it in the gas can and mix it or directly in the tank? Thanks
If you're going through a tank of fuel during a calendar year, 360 will work for your needs. It has PEA fuel system cleaners in it as well. If you won't go through a tank of fuel in a year, Red STA-BIL STORAGE will keep that fuel fresh for 24 months. Storage will stabilize the fuel longer and prevent corrosion, but doesn't have the fuel system cleaners that 360 does. As far as delivery, if you use the same gas can of fuel treated with 360 on fill-up, you can use that to top off as needed. If you're mixing in untreated fuel, it's better to just run all the treated fuel through the tank, then add a fresh treatment during refueling to ensure all the fuel is treated properly. The "in-the-tank vs. the gas can" comment was mainly based on OPE usage. You really can do either for any application, but it's important to treat on fill-up either way. You can't make bad gas new again. Hope this helps!
I am running E50 in a cobra mustang fuel tank hat that has aluminum, solder (60 lead / 40 tin) and copper materials in it. Which of the 3 is best to resist copper and solder corrosion?
For just storing a car over a few months, we recommend STA-BIL 360 Protection (keeps fuel fresh up to 12 months), but this can also be used year-round as the product contains PEA fuel system cleaners and prevents corrosion caused by moisture from ethanol-blended fuels. If you need to store over 12 months, we then recommend STA-BIL Storage fuel stabilizer, which keeps fuel fresh up to 24 months.
My gas tends to get gummy and crystallize in the carburetor when I use this stabilizer. Should I be draining the carburetor anyway even when using this product?
The gumminess in a carburetor is usually caused by the ethanol blended in the fuel absorbing water. Ethanol absorbs water and can cause a gummy varnish on internal fuel system components. Using a treatment year-round is key in preventing this to help remove water and avoid gum and varnish.
STA-BIL Storage and 360 can be used in non-ethanol and ethanol blended fuels. If you are looking to store long term (over 12 months) we recommend STA-BIL Storage, which keeps fuel fresh up to 24 months. If you are storing under 12 months, we recommend STA-BIL 360 Protection, which is an in-season complete fuel system cleaner (with PEA fuel system cleaners) that can be used year-round and will keep fuel fresh up to 12 months. And yes they are a competitor. Hope this helps!
You're good to go! Along with its fuel system cleaning benefits, STA-BIL 360 Protection is also designed to be used as a fuel stabilizer. 360 keeps fuel fresh for 12 months. Red STA-BIL Storage keeps fuel fresh for 24 months for reference. Use whichever works for what you need. Hope this helps.
STA-BIL Storage will keep fuel fresh up to 24 months. It is important to add with fresh fuel. And correct - no need to drain the equipment. Remember to run the equipment a few minutes so the entire fuel system is protected.
STA-BIL Storage (Red) will keep fuel fresh up to 24 months. STA-BIL 360 Protection (Amber) will keep fuel fresh up to 12 months. So for your situation it depends on how long you will be storing the fuel. And if you run the equipment from time to time, that fuel will still be protected. Hope this helps!
@@STABILBrand Thank you. Does Sta-bil 360 Protection have the Vapor Technology? I always liked the thought of going above the fuel line to minimize the effects of ethanol and moisture. Plus, do this and Sta-bil 360 Marine both have PEA?

@@STABILBrand Good to know. I realize that an overdose isn't harmful within reason, but is there any benefit to using a bit more than recommended or is using extra just a waste of the product?
Mixing products will not cause any issues however we recommend using the right product during the season as each product is designed a specific reason. STA-BIL Storage should be used when you are storing something to keep the fuel fresh. STA-BIL 360 Protection should be used in-season (has PEA additives, corrosion inhibitors, and water removers. What is the difference with the blue Marine product. Perhaps it is the same and the blue color is a marketing ploy but if there is a difference I want to know because the boat environment is not really different than other environments as far as moisture etc. In particular I am looking for a stabilizer that is made for non ethanol gas.
Thanks for asking! The blue 360° Marine product is more concentrated, 1 oz. treats 10 gallons of fuel, and is effective in both ethanol and non-ethanol blended fuels.
Thanks for asking! 360 Protection has fuel stabilization for up to 12 months. So if you use that continuously, you shouldn't need to also use red STA-BIL Storage, unless your storage period will be longer than a year.
It will not hurt, however if you are looking to store fuel, we recommend STA-BIL Storage. If you are looking for a complete fuel system cleaner, then we recommend 360 Protection.
STA-BIL 360 Marine is similar to 360 Protection. Still has PEA fuel system cleaners for in-season use, Keeps fuel fresh for up to 12 months but is double the treat rate (1oz per 10 gallons) and has more water remover properties. Can be used with ethanol and non-ethanol fuels. Great for boats and/or equipment in high moisture areas.
If I understand your video, the red product is used for storage, and the amber product is used for ethanol fuels and daily use. So, a few questions- The amber product is not best for long term storage, correct? The amber product says to use specifically for ethanol. So I assume the red is is not the best choice for ethanol fuel? What would be the best choice for both ethanol fuel AND long term storage? And finally, how does the blue/green product factor into the equation, beside the fact that it indicates for marine use? Is the blue/green product best for storage or daily use? Thanks in advance.
*Two products that have so much overlap, the difference is negligible. To sum it up, if you want 2 years of protection, use the Red one. If you want 1 year of protection, use the Amber one. Doesn't make sense, right? Exactly. Just use the red one. Either one can protect ethanol.*
If your using Ethanol fuel, you best look at testing done by Tyrell fixes all. All the additives had goo in the carb bowls . The only one without goo was VP fuels NON ethanol fuel. Make your own assumptions from that.

If you are trying to accomplish both, just use STA-BIL 360°® Protection. It has fuel stabilizers in it just like red STORAGE, but adds fuel system cleaners, water removers, and corrosion control. 360 is designed to be used year-round and keeps fuel fresh for up to a year. STORAGE is what it says, designed for long term storage and keeps fuel fresh for up to 2 years. No need to use both, just depends on what you are using it for and for how long.

I guess I’m the unwilling spoiler in the comment’s. I've been using your products for years in my cars, motorhomes, etc. And been happy, but now I have a giant problem. Been running my Harbor freight predator 3500 generator once or twice a month for 30mns. -1hour since it was new, to keep it exercised. I start with very high quality fuel, Shell V-Power NiTRO+ Premium Gasoline, then remove all the ethanol and water, then add your Sta-Bil 360 protection. 8-1-2024 Generator won’t start, no fuel coming out of carburetor bowl, check fuel line to carburetor, no fuel, pulled carburetor and cleaned, emptied fuel, removed fuel tank from generator and fuel tank, filter, strainer (it was a mess, full of Sta-Bil 360 protection contaminants/Rust . I’ve been using your Sta-Bil 360 protection since new. Hoping to protect this generator. To insure it’s ready for emergencies. The generator has (only 41 hrs.), it’s literally like new. This is very upsetting. I’ve got 2 hours of tear down with approximately 2 plus hours to put back together, plus a new fuel strainer, plus new fuel. Might have to buy a new fuel tank for $124.95 plus tax, which is probably the best option. I need your help.
This is indeed an unusual situation and we understand your frustration. STA-BIL 360 Protection does not contain any chemicals that would cause “contaminants”, as the formula is designed to stay in solution (it does not separate). One possible cause would be that the fuel already had sediment or water (bad fuel). Or, least likely due to the age of the equipment, that there was sediment or gunk already in the tank, and the cleaner is doing its job. If you need further assistance, please contact our customer support team at producttechsupport@goldeagle.com
Here’s my experience with generators. Don’t run premium fuel in them. Premium gasoline has way more ethanol in than 87 octane. I had same thing happen to me, premium gas was contaminated with water because of higher ethanol content.
An unopened bottle of STA-BIL® Storage will remain fresh for at least 2 years if it has been kept in a cool, dry location. If it's been 6 years, we recommend purchasing a new bottle before using to store your fuel.
Storage is for storing and keeping fuel fresh. 360 Protection is for in-season use which has PEA additives, corrosion inhibitors, and water removers. Hope this helps.

I use 360 in all my vehicles and small engines at every fill up! Works well and 360 hasn’t let me down!
I use STA-BIL 360 in my motorcycles and powersports fuel. Now with this 15% ethanol happening, it's even more important to protect with 360.
In his video he stated the 360 is I oz per five gallons but on the packaging it says entire bottle per five gallons
@@otisandbruceshow1808now how much is in the bottle?
I believe in this stuff because it works. It has never failed me or my engines.
Thank you for using our products!
I used Sta-Bil storage once in my 87 Grand Nat’l and 70 Z28. In the Spring both cars had difficulty starting. Without use they both fire right up. 😮

Thanks for being a STA-BIL fan! As a family-owned company in Chicago, we appreciate it! 🇺🇸
Sounds like you're doing FAR to protect your car than the vast majority of people in your situation will have even thought of.
Hey, I have to store my cars for months when I travel or vacation -
1) Use Marine 360 (it's a better version of the regular 360, lasts twice as long) and fill up on PREMIUM gas only (from Shell, Chevron or Costco - they have no Ethanol in their premium so you don't have to worry about water forming or damage ethanol causes, also get more detergents and stabilizers in it).
2) A battery trickle charger is a great tool, I would also disconnect the battery cables to prevent parasitic draining (just place them back, tighten back down very easy).
3) Check all your fluid levels (except for brake fluid, unless it's below Min). Check for any leaks, coolant level,
4) Jack the car up and place the frame on 4 jackstands (first do the front 2, then the rear 2). This takes care of the tire issues so they won't get flatspots and crack out in the sun, as well as taking the load off the struts/springs. You can also use something like "Dry Coat" to spray down the brake rotors as they'll likely rust quickly (or be sure to turn the car on every few days, have the wheels spin a bit and use brakes to clear off any surface rust
5) Get Silicone Lube Spray and Grease, lubricate areas that your manual indicated (especially rubber parts!)...
The manual shouldn't have to say to drain tank. Common sense

Yes! 360° Protection works great for this seasonal usage, both in vehicles and reserve gas cans.
E85 or E10? Flex Fuel? Most people use Sta-Bil Storage for E10 if Ethanol-Free is not available.

Yes you can. I have used the MARINE for my chainsaws and string trimmers. No problems.

Thanks for asking! Yes. This is the exact use case for STA-BIL 360 Protection. It will keep fuel fresh for up to 12 months, whether that gas is in your tank or in a gas can. It also is outstanding at preventing corrosion caused by ethanol-based fuel.

Either of the 360s will work. The marine 1 just treats more ( 1oz treats 10 gallons) I use The marine 1 in all my stuff
You forgot about the diesel product
Any concerns of over treatment with the 360 product? If I were to, in a worst case, dump the whole 296ml bottle in a full tank of gas for my car?
Great question! Answer: No concerns. It would just be considered to be an overuse of product.
Is there any benefit to using both or is this not recommended? (for car storage over winter)
I was expecting the amber to work better lower grade fuels that have ethanol added, but it sounds like it doesn't. Is amber a competitor for STP?
STA-BIL Storage and 360 can be used in non-ethanol and ethanol blended fuels. If you are looking to store long term (over 12 months) we recommend STA-BIL Storage, which keeps fuel fresh up to 24 months. If you are storing under 12 months, we recommend STA-BIL 360 Protection, which is an in-season complete fuel system cleaner (with PEA fuel system cleaners) that can be used year-round and will keep fuel fresh up to 12 months. And yes they are a competitor. Hope this helps!
I accidentally used 360 to store my generator gas.. will that work OK or do i need to add the staybil storage product?
You're good to go! Along with its fuel system cleaning benefits, STA-BIL 360 Protection is also designed to be used as a fuel stabilizer. 360 keeps fuel fresh for 12 months. Red STA-BIL Storage keeps fuel fresh for 24 months for reference. Use whichever works for what you need. Hope this helps.
How long does "Storage" keep fuel stabilized?
Also so no need to drain my snowblower.?.....ever? With this product
STA-BIL Storage will keep fuel fresh up to 24 months. It is important to add with fresh fuel. And correct - no need to drain the equipment. Remember to run the equipment a few minutes so the entire fuel system is protected.
What if i want to test a generator once a month, but need to store the fuel in a 5 gallon tank? Is it just best to use the red version?
STA-BIL Storage (Red) will keep fuel fresh up to 24 months. STA-BIL 360 Protection (Amber) will keep fuel fresh up to 12 months. So for your situation it depends on how long you will be storing the fuel. And if you run the equipment from time to time, that fuel will still be protected. Hope this helps!

Is Sta-Bil 360 catalytic coverter and O2 sensor safe?
Yes
If my gas is continually treated with 360 when in use why does it need the storage version when I put the car away in winter?
Thanks for asking! 360 Protection has fuel stabilization for up to 12 months. So if you use that continuously, you shouldn't need to also use red STA-BIL Storage, unless your storage period will be longer than a year.
Would it hurt to mix red stabil and the amber stabil?

Still has PEA fuel system cleaners for in-season use, Keeps fuel fresh for up to 12 months but is double the treat rate (1oz per 10 gallons) and has more water remover properties. Can be used with ethanol and non-ethanol fuels. Great for boats and/or equipment in high moisture areas.
If I understand your video, the red product is used for storage, and the amber product is used for ethanol fuels and daily use. So, a few questions-
The amber product is not best for long term storage, correct?
Either one can protect ethanol.*
i guess you get more out of the amber :D
how to bring in my small country thus product
state - Kosova
capital city - pristina i wish we can do thit is what so many people need
If your using Ethanol fuel, you best look at testing done by Tyrell fixes all. All the additives had goo in the carb bowls . The only one without goo was VP fuels NON ethanol fuel. Make your own assumptions from that.
We make sure our products are of the highest quality and stand behind what our products say they do. We also send them to a top third-party research institution that is known for their ASTM testing methods that are regulated so that we can prove our products do what the label says they do. Can i put both the sta-bil for long storage and sta-bil 360 for protection or only sta-bil 360 for storage and protection ???
If you are trying to accomplish both, just use STA-BIL 360°® Protection. It has fuel stabilizers in it just like red STORAGE, but adds fuel system cleaners, water removers, and corrosion control. 360 is designed to be used year-round and keeps fuel fresh for up to a year. STORAGE is what it says, designed for long term storage and keeps fuel fresh for up to 2 years. No need to use both, just depends on what you are using it for and for how long.
@@STABILBrand Thanks really appreciated you take times to answer me and you're answer really help me !! ill go with STA-BIL 360 :)
Sta-Bil MAY help "minimize" corrosion but it WILL NOT eliminate it.
We constantly have our products tested (and competitors) to make sure our products do what they say they do. Visit the link to see the test data from a top third-party research institution: www.goldeagle.com/stabil-test-data/

What is the shelf life of both the red and amber. I have a bottle of red that has been in my garden shed for about 6 years.
An unopened bottle of STA-BIL® Storage will remain fresh for at least 2 years if it has been kept in a cool, dry location. If it's been 6 years, we recommend purchasing a new bottle before using to store your fuel.
Lol@ "metal deactivator" 😂
NOTHING removes water from gas.
local walmart only carries red so no need to pick :D
Thank you for the comment and using our products! And STA-BIL 360 Protection 10oz should be located and available in the automotive section.
Turn the music OFF
I use the storage stabilizer gas did not last four months
if I turn on my motorcycle and inhale the fumes by accident with I be at risk of cancer
I'm talking about the stabil storage
Respectfully…you didn’t explain the difference you just explained how to use them
Storage is for storing and keeping fuel fresh. 360 Protection is for in-season use which has PEA additives, corrosion inhibitors, and water removers. Hope this helps.
Seafoam there ya go

I don't believe it works
Thanks for watching! There are many reasons why STA-BIL works and has been around since 1958. We are the original fuel stabilizer. Unlike other fuel additive companies we are backed by OEM's who trust our products because we develop, manufacture, and fill our own products in-house with our own chemists and small engine experts. We also have our products (and competitors) tested at a top research institution to make sure our product does what we say it does. WHY DON'T YOU SHOW AN HONEST DEMONSTRATION? TALK IS CHEAP!!!
You rushed what could have been an informative video! I still have lots of questions after watching this nearly useless video... FAIL!
What are your questions?
Completely uninformative. Try keeping your eyes open when you talk.
It could be a disorder. Please be mindful!
Uninformative to someone with the comprehension level of a 5 yr old yes. Not his fault
