I used sta bil for 20 years i started to use the sta bil small engine pro all of my 2 stroke equipment are in the shop getting new carbs i never had problems with carbs or anything not gona use anything anymore
For long term storage of more than a year, is it recommended to drain some of the fuel after a year and add another treatment of stabilizer in the recommended full fuel tank amount?
STA-BIL Storage will keep fuel fresh up to 2 years. For best results, if you are at the 2 year mark, we recommend to cycle all the fuel with fresh fuel with a STA-BIL Storage fuel stabilizer. Hope this helps! Thank you for using STA-BIL.
I have a gen 1 small block Chevy and a big block Mopar that are both stored in the winter. After using Sta-bil for a few years . I find them difficult to start in the spring until I run through the treated tank and refill.
When storing your vehicle (modern or classic), fill the tank 95% full with fresh fuel and add STA-BIL Storage Fuel Stabilizer and run for a few minutes. This ensures that the entire fuel system is protected. We also recommend filling the tank up 95% full to limit the amount of air and moisture that can get into the fuel tank. Hope this helps.
Draining the tank is not the best practice. This leaves all surfaces of the fuel system susceptible to rust and corrosion. You should run out as much old fuel as possible, then refill with fresh gas mixed with a fuel stabilizer. The best way to mix fuel stabilizers is to add the additive then fill the tank or gas can with fresh fuel.

Is it actually safe to drain the fuel ⛽️ tank on a Honda pump? What’s the best way to mix fuel stabilizer with fresh gasoline ⛽️?
