    What other "unorthodox" effects pedals should I try?

    • @PhrostMotion
      @PhrostMotion Год назад

      First two that come to mind in the unorthodox category after the microcosm are another two I've been thinking of buying.. a Chase Bliss Audio Mood MK2 or a Chase Bliss Audio Habit. As soon as I saw this video I purchased a Superego to see how it pairs up with the Keeley Spacial Parallax Generator but would also love to hear the superego paired up with an Eventide Rose. Awesome upload man! :)

    Another fun way to use it or the superego+ is to split your signal at the start of your chain, and run a superego (and whatever effects with it) into a separate amp. In auto it’ll just follow along with what you play, and it the sound doesn’t clash.

    • @LeonTodd

      Ooooh I must try that

      You can do the same thing with this pedal too. Just use the Send output to another amp.

    I've been using the freeze effects in the H9 reverb algos for some time. I was trying to get a Vangelis type of thing, but that all ended up sounding like "Shine On You Crazy Diamond," so I went with that. When I unveiled that publicly, there were bits of brain all over the walls.

    Super random that you are finally rocking the super ego! I’ve been using them for years on my boards, and I really do think it’s one of the greatest effects pedals ever made. It comes down to the musicality of the player, but the stretching and effects loop combinations are just so endless.
    Keep on rockin🔥🎶

    I have the Superego plus ➕. It has a sustain freeze like a piano pedal. Four different freeze options. The effects are well worth the forty extra dollars. Can't understand why both versions are not more popular. 😎🤓

      @@LeonToddHey Unc at 4:20-which is serendipitous as that's my favorite time of any day lol- what type of pedal or whatever are you using for that crispy ass distortion? Because dude.....that sound soloing over those synth pads was, how do I put this....euphoric🫠🤤 lol. I was pulling the stank face the whole time 🥴😂

    • @PerfectCircle91
      @PerfectCircle91 5 месяцев назад

      @@LeonToddAlso I am enamoured of the efficiency of your picking hand dude, I'm always working on how to make mine as economic as possible but damn bro you got it down lol. Also I am not, and don't think will ever be as good a lead player as you, think Jerry Cantrell and that's my style and personal guitar hero along with Kim Thayil. But again, I can solo reasonably well kinda like Jerry where he does have sick lead parts but is a beast rhythm player at it's best imo. Anyway, love the channel and I'm stoked for you at it's growth man but I like thinking it's still a hidden rare gem for us guitar and music obsessed freaks lol.

Gonna have to call you the pied Piper of this effect..this is so much better than the B and C organ synth pedals...really takes your tunes to the top. This is a great weapon for the arsenal.. better than the big sky which I loved when I first played it... I Instantly would pick this as my secret weapon. 🦘 😺
