Like this guy says here it would have been a lot of easier with a horse! I actually thought "Damn where are the horses when you need them??" when he's started jumping against the wall 😂
I'm surprised they actually put some little details in those mountains and even put a few solids here and there, as if they knew some player was going to go there eventually.
Surprised by how much of the area is fully meshed out and textured for you to walk on and not phase through when we don't even use those areas. Great video but I ain't got the patience for doing it I'm glad to see it tho
It's basically because the game was rushed to release at the end. There's a LOT of unused potential on the world map that could've housed a lot more stuff. The explorable area in Lucis is actually much smaller than you think it is because so much of it is long, thin roads that connect areas, which I actually really like, but at the end of the day it does make it seem like there's far more out there than there actually is. Not that it's a small world-it isn't-it's just much smaller than you think it is. If Square had less limited development time, or had used their time more wisely, there probably could've been 10 or 15 times more explorable area. They just didn't use anywhere near as much of the world's real estate as they could've.
Were you guys expecting Skyrim or Fallout type of open world? This is already pretty good considering it's a story driven game. FF games have always had a world map whereby you'd be restricted by mountains/rivers and those areas will only be accessible after you passed through a cave or gained access to a chocobo or aircraft. This IS an open world game. FF will never be open world like Skyrim because that's just not the theme of the franchise, so stop whining.
Man, this video is the definition of "No, I swear I did that on purpose." Lol. How many "steps" was that? 33? What a cool trek though. Totally worth the watch. Just a note for future exploration videos: when you're in an open space, you should really avoid using subjective navigation words like "left" and "right" because they're subjective. They mean different things to people who are facing different directions. That's precisely why we have objective cardinal directions like west and east that mean the same thing to everyone no matter which direction they're facing.
The amount of barriers in the open world REALLY slimmed down the hype of the map size. It's too restrictive. So what if I want to drive the Type-D into the canyon, or up a mountain to the northern most part of the map where there is nothing?
It's amazing, really. People have found pretty much the entire city of Gralea, and you don't even go there! There's a lot that was probably meant to be that didn't get finished in the rush.
In the video, the first circle was to get as low as possible. The second time you approach, press at the exact spot (or a bit earlier) and the car change animation will start happening. If you are forced to turn, then that means you pressed the X button too late, or you were flying too high and the X button (to land) does not appear. Try to press X during the last second, as it gives you more distance to fly towards the Cliff. Also, you need to be over the road all the time until the last part.
Eat the lasagna in altissia then ignis with gain the recipe it give 4000 hp. Or beat adamantois for the easy 9999 .. It isnt hard to reach this either with v2 magitek armor
Open but empty of things to be. Assassin's Creed Odyssey is a better open world, just wish it wasn't level gated. Still say there's no perfect open world game. BotW 2 hopefully will be better, but considering they are just reusing the hyrule from 1 I think it's just going to be overshadowed because of that choice.
neither, whenever games are being made, a lot of the textures for 3D models would by best be of pixel resolution of 1024^2 to onwards, (as of last gen consoles to current gen) and this is including everything that the player would interact with some relevance of closeness in mind. but because you managed to find a "backdoor" to lestallum, i made the joke that the textures of the mountains wouldn't be as high as 1024, (because normally you're not suppose to be there) thankfully that isn't the case. seems the devs use the same models there as anywhere else the player character could possibly go to. i made a joke for something that would be the case but really wasn't.
Works on latest version of Final Fantasy XV (date of video). Save at spot shown in video if you want to use this entrance forever in the future.

Phoenix Basher that's how level design is. You block the player from entering with an invisible rectangular wall.

pittios dungeon part II
aaahahaha
It’s ridiculous dude, It’s a hell not a dungeon!!😂😂
Lol
this is even harder than the secret dungeon xD
Ramona K that dungeon seceret was cake been playing too much BF1 to not land that
Nikoruin what does BF have to do with this
Ramona K flying of course the flight mechanics are slower than bf1 therefore easier to make turns n landings o:
Nikoruin but what does the secret dungeon have anything to do with flying? lol
your comment seemed to say that the seceret dungeon was hard to land o.o
I've never seen an 'open world' thats so closed off/inaccessible..
Kyle UKF I agree
Kyle UKF Ff15 is not an open world go
Ff15 = linear storytelling marketed as open world. Altíssia city is an insult to explorer gamers.

This does not work for me. I followed everything exactly as the video and I am forced to fly off to the right as I approach the cliff.

this would be much easier if you had a horse. horses can climb those mountains no prob.
