- God Mode in the game Final Fantasy 15 (FFXV). Learn how to get Armiger God Mode to fly like Superman anywhere in the game. God Mode Armiger is used twice in the game (against Leviathan and Ardyn), but there is a way to make it permanent so that you are able to travel through the air and fly at great speed like a superhero. Video shows how to get God Mode by using a lodge during the fight with Ardyn (In Insomia). Note that you need to have completed the game and saved a save slot (or playing the last chapter 15). This works on the latest version (1.09). In 1.00, Ardyn may not follow you to the Lodge, so you need to whack him towards the lodge. Later in the video, you can see a flyby of famous areas in Lucis and Altissia. Original person who found this method removed their video (didn't want the attention and went into hiding) and asked people to look to others who made this work, so here it is people. Reason was probably people blaming him for God Mode being used in Timed Quest. Credit will be provided if he asks for it, otherwise, to protect him from criticism and retaliation in Japan, his name is anonymous. To remove god mode, make a New Game+, select the God Mode save, play past Chapter 9 and your God Mode will be removed. Then save over your Save File. If you get stuck in Chapter 4 Titan, simply fly through holes to next checkpoint.
More details on the technique shown in video:
Attack Ardyn outside the Lodge until 3/4 health, then hit a few times and wait repeatedly until you see him start throwing those magic balls. At this point he doesn't warp away after each attack. Go inside the Lodge and press X button. Wait for his magic attack and starts shrugging. After the shrug, hit 3 times, then run towards the bed to press X button. Wait for him to attack again with the shrug animation. Repeat. You can hit up to 5 times, but a safe one is 3 times and press X. After cutscene starts, wait for both you and him have floating swords, THEN you select Yes to rest in Lodge.

Do you know what I find the most incredible about this? It's the fact that the game engine finds a way to make it work... There you are, actively trying to break the game and does it crash? Nope, it actually allows you to *fly* over Altissia. An area we never normally get to see from the skies! Amazing.
You touch upon a very important secret to game creation. Some developers simply put up a message "you will leave the mission area" and if you go there you die or respawn to beginning. This actually stops exploration and creativity. People should be rewarded for getting past areas (whether invisible walls, mountains, etc). They should put hidden stuff or messages there for those who achieve this. For Square Enix, they put nice scenery as reward and flying mode as reward. Sorry to say many game companies don't know that good games need dedicated gamers who put in the effort, not put walls that stop dedicated gamers or the game becomes an on-rails type of game which is kinda boring after a first play through.
Maybe this is a clue that we will be able to access some of these areas in later updates and DLCs! Hopefully
Thats because there are absalutely no prerendered backgrounds in 15 its all 3d modeling.
I mean, you have the Regalia Type-F to fly through the skies, though the speed and the area it can go to are limited
@@edepot final fantasy 8 had secret messages beyond the borders you normally travel. With a gameshark or device like that you can travel across barriers and talk to npc.. some tell you you should not be here. Others just talk about developers.. nothing special just secret ranting from npc you would never see otherwise
The craziest thing about this was that Noctis had fishing level 10.

I got it to work without waiting for the cutscene to start. Ardyn was readying the big red attack and I accidently hit 'Yes.' The cutscene seemed to proceed and skip forward to the "God" mode part anyway and saved in that state. After resting was over, I came to still be in "God" mode floating above Insomnia and proceeded with the steps after and it worked :) thanks for this!!!

What outfit did you have for Noctis? It’s the kingly raiment without the armor?? How did you get it?
When you want to to close the glitch you must go pass chapter 9 as he said ^ about the titan thing when you go to into the edge you might think it is stuck and cant move either you can go to the holes as he said ^ or as you can see your character keeps rounding itself we here is how to go normal while he is rounding each round move your stick 1 time normally and wait for the other round this may take a while but it succeeded with me i hope i delivered something useful TY.
so I accidentally saved it before the cut scene came on and noctis gladio prompto ignis and Arden were all in the same room lol so I hit Arden and hit save again and cut scene etc... and it still worked lol
Interesting. This means you found a method to revive the gang in Insomnia
edepot CORRECT!! of you save right before cut scene then they will appear but I'm not sure if they were there once you got the armigard. I still have the save at the throne room, I'll try it.

so tips and tricks involving this it may have been covered but heres some info.
1. this can be transferred to new game plus, make sure you beat the game first, then glitch it
2. you can glitch health past 9999, but requires some planning, first equip all weapons with the most health, than health accessories such as adamentoise 10k, and finally choose a clothing obviously health but whatever you prefer, as you cant change any weapons or clothes after you glitch otherwise you loose the extra health from accessories
3. after getting the menu back by riding the gondola in altissia dont change any of noctis' weapons,clothes, or accessories to keep all bonuses i have 43k health atm.
4 after starting new game plus there are some glitches in story but i have personally beat the game with it activated, take note it'll deactivate after ch.9 the fight with hydra.
5. even though its advised you dont change noctis' items after the gondola ride, you can still manage your party members items and skills
6. if your having trouble and finding yourself fighting ifrit after each failed attempt, which is annoying you can actually save after killing ifrit in front of the castle door so if you fail all you have to do is go up the elevator to fight arden again.
7. if you start a new game plus with this activated i suggest playing up until the fight in altissia then using umbra to go back, do everything you can or want to do dungeons quests xp farming as after the fight with hydra your god mode will be taken

I activated it somehow on pc version but after loading quicksave noctis reverts back to normal

By the way edepot, what do you mean by remove patches and then follow the video? You can't delete update files, only the base game. And once you delete the whole game, and run it from the very first version, your saves aren't present.
Since this is the current version, you don't need to delete anything. It works fine for digital and physical FFXV. But IF IN THE FUTURE an update removed the ability to do God Mode, you need the physical game disc (which allows removing updates only).
I have the physical disc version but there is no possible way of just deleting the update files on there own. The whole game has to be deleted..
You don't need to delete anything for it to work with the latest update! In the FUTURE, deleting the whole game, turning off internet, re-installing game, is the same thing as deleting all the updates. There is a separate place for Save Data. You can delete that also, then you would need to replay from beginning of the game to Chapter 15.
@@ExxKun for any physical game you could uninstall the game. Dont press uninstall all though just the game. You would have to reinstall it but your saves should be present after reinstalling. Note you cant reaccess your saves in the menu until you reinstall it. Also to be safe you can back saves up in the cloud so if they are lost just reupdate the game and retrieve the files. Note:some games wont let you load them if they were saved on a more recent patch. Such as dying light for its patched dupe tricks

Hej i have 1.00 and did do the exactly same thing that you did do but I have only one problem that I can't fix and it's that the load file have only autosave save not autosave insomnia like others and after I opened the load file I respawn again without God mode and I watched others have the same version that I have and it worked with them please can you help me with this problem??

This seems cool, but besides flying around, I don't think I'd have much use for it :) It feels like it'd hinder me more than it'd help me, and I love to stay close to the group so I can hear their hilarious banter. But maybe after I've ensured I've done everything I'd like for the game, I might do it. I'm doing my second run-through now so we'll see. Does anyone know if you can actually complete crestholm in god mode? I can't use the ladder but I can get in through holes but when I hit any of the "water slides" I get permanently trapped.
Stay near the top of any water and you won't hit them I think

if i load a different save slot other than the one with god mode saved will it disappear? that would be nice considering you could switch from normal mode to god mode whenever you like
Yes, that is what you are supposed to do. There is a way to turn it off for a specific save (to keep items)
it works I did it two days ago the only attack thing you can do though is worp strike the only thing I can't do is his long range attack
