- How to get unlimited AP with this trick in Final Fantasy 15. By obtaining the "Magitek Generator" from the Colosseum at Altissia, you can use the car to generate an infinite number of AP without refueling. The Magitek Generator give you unlimited gas. Getting Ascension skill Roadrunning provides you with AP whenever you drive for long distance. Therefore, you can combine these to facts to get unlimited AP in the car via a secret trick shown in video to drive in circles forever. Video shows the whole procedure of getting infinite AP and counts number of AP that can be generated when the Regalia travels one full circle. Note: You should travel one circle at least once and get all Photo Ops out of the way (so Prompto doesn't stop the car). Or, the permanent solution is to leave the map open on autodrive with ignis driving (you still get AP after you close the map and stop the car). Also, if you have 60mph or 70mph upgrades, don't install them in the car, or your car may crash from going too fast on one of the corners (I think the Regalia Type-F is by default 70mph, so it may be a bit too fast around corners). For XBox One, change the settings for the controller so it doesn't disconnect from idle, and make sure the cable is always connected for power. An important part of the video is the installation of the Enhanced Headlights on Regalia, which will prevent daemons from appearing in front of your car (thus stopping the AP generation). If you have the Regalia F-Type you get infinite fuel. Uninstall the turbocharger AND supercharger otherwise there is one corner you'll side swipe the guard rail, then just get it going the right way anywhere on the loop.
Done, no medals needed.
Sum up:
-Have "Regalia F-Type"
-Have "Enhanced Headlights" upgrade
-NO "Turbocharger" (can be uninstalled)
-NO "Supercharger" (can be uninstalled)
-Chocobo rental EXPIRED.
-Start out moving Southwest out of Lestallum.
-Stay with game for one loop to ensure all photo quests cleared.
-Physically jam button.
-Walk away.
Why does the chocobo rental need to be expired?

Took me a few attempts to actually get this right because although it is mentioned in the notes, it is not mentioned in the video that prompto keeps pestering to take a photo (which stops this from working). One other thing worth mentioning - if you have anything equipped on the Regalia that speeds it up - you will reach a point where you crash into a railing. After a few of these crashes, your car will need servicing and will no longer auto drive, 2000 Gil repair bill also. Other than that, it works great, thanks for the vid!
Don't Have Speed Upgrades And Do All The Photo Quests.

This is great. You could leave this up as like an "active wallpaper" and play your own music to it while you're studying/working. Then come back when it's time to play and have a boatload of AP!

if you're lv 30 or so you can go around hammerhead and kill the weak enemies with warp strike that's one AP each. it works with every enemy so even during the storyline you can almost kill the enemy and then give em the last blow with the warp and one more AP

This way is wayyyy faster thats how I get my ap u can get 30-50 in 15 min 200+ in a hour. Its a tedious but worth ittt
@@luismartapia1955 Jist get the Regalia Type-F, it's a car with unlimited fuel. You can find it in the stronghold near Hammerhead. But unless you're level 45+, it'll be difficult.
Ragnarok DLC let's you do that at any level, right?

First off thanks for this!!! --> Because I don't have the time to grind out the winnings I tried the type f. I found that the type f does work, however the last turn left, right before the tunnel leading into Lestallum, you will hit the bar. However, the vehicle corrects itself just as quickly as it gets off course and Noctis will continue to drive! Thank you again!!!

what you need most is the enhanced headlight. So there would be no deamon interruptions at night (so you can leave the gang driving while you sleep)

The Type-F drives too fast sometimes. You should use regular Regalia (and remove the 60mph and 70mph installs). If you do this, you won't go around corners too fast that damages your car.
That is true & because of how fast it goes I got a game over for the first time just by tapping a rail. T_T
I haven't played in a while but what if you stick the piece of paper in loosely? So that it only presses the R2 button lightly? That would mean the type-f driving slower, right?
The Midnight Barber I finished pitios, didn't save, and crashed on the way out. Took 2 1/2 hours for me and I don't even think its really worth it except for completion.

This method is for those that like to get AP AUTOMATICALLY. Leave your console on overnight and get thousands of AP later (more than you need). No need to manually grind the 5000+ AP needed to upgrade every Ascension. Please see whole video to the end before commenting about flying car method, etc. For those that want pro tips to do the minigame on the colosseum, I will make a video on it soon (just be subscribed so you don't miss it!). Prompto WILL NOT INTERRUPT if you leave the map view open (you still get AP after you close the map and decide to stop the car). For XBone, read video description about controller settings. Getting 3.6M medals requires A LOT of INPUT also. I just entered chapter 9 and although I did manage to to get the medals required (after hours of battles) I can't help but think that would have been more productive with shield in the first place. Oh well big up to @edepot anyway. Now I'm going to leave my Regalia driving non stop for 48 hrs :D

I can see this as a helpful thing when you speedrun all the way to Altisia with a low level. After getting that magitek engine, and getting the roadrunning skill, you could potentially increase all your stats with each level up, using the stat increasing AP skills.

7:58. so I guess I just need to choose the noctis option to get prompto stop asking me who to take pics of. because eventually he asks every few real time hours that question and it picks the default I don't care option and im not there to press x but this message in the video says "untill you rest again". so if I choose that It should not happen at all right?

Super late on this it’s awesome but if you have the F-type there’s a way to get around the speed (so you don’t crash the car while away from the controller) and that’s to visit hammerhead and uninstall the engine that makes it go 60mph and boom.. Also make sure to take let your chocobo days go to 0 because I left it overnight and woke up to only 166 AP with the screen saying the days have run out and prompting me to press X (On PS4)

The flying car AFK AP earn has been patched, so now you can only earn it by AFK driving on the ground. Or goofing off in the Regalia Type-D (the off-road regalia).

rubber band works fine. I did it with the unlimited XP glitch in spiderman ps4, where you did the mid air tricks in a glitched spot and I rubber banded it over night. and that even includes the trigger AND ALSO the O-Button, and I was still able to get it with ONE rubber band, so i know it will work with just the trigger

The paper i used didnt hold the button down all the ways, so the Regalia(Type F) isnt going as fast. Thats a fun fact, not holding the R trigger all the way down will make the Regalia drive slower. You dont get AP as fast, but its safer then going full speed.

I'm trying this, but my Xbox One S controller keeps disconnecting.....not sure why....there shouldn't be any issues as the controller is doing some motion. Anyone tried this on Xbox One yet?
No because no one cares about t he XBone
Just try to change the controller settings to never disconnect and then leave it plugged in and charging so the battery doesn't die. If it is a constant press, it doesn't count that as a motion and will still time out. It would have to be a press and then depress to count as a motion to stay connected, sometimes.
Plug it in. Shouldn't disconnect then.

Conversations default to top answer, which can cause the car to stop if you haven't collected all the Landscape shots already.

Did this, and was driving for a good 2 or so hours ( 5 days elapsed) then next thing i know is that Ignis can now drive during the night. That's a plus!
But what if I leave it overnight and prompto asks me again about photographing? Sure it can auto chose answer, but then comes popup which I'd have to close manualy.
When you say "no" to the prompt during the first circle, the photo op will go into your Quest list. Choose a different quest (like the main mission), and those photo ops will not trigger Prompto anymore
just how long did you get that 3 million medals? I dont think i`m far in the game yet, i`ve been to altessia but not enter the arena yet but just seeing that amount of medals to obtain already make me feel lazy.

With the Type-F, does the car actually crash (as in lose your progress, restart the game, crash) or does it just get a bit scraped up?
when you land/take off, it can crash and game over, sending you back to previous checkpoint/save
That's a pretty good trick, that reminds me the same trick in Final Fantasy 6 to boost the characters to lvl 99 at the beginning of the game, but it is really slow... is there any problem keeping the Ps4 switched on for such a long time? That's my only concern
Giulio Fiumi not to smart to get to level 99 in ff6, before you get espers due to level stat bonuses. I guess its interesting it can be done, but not recommend.

The airship car drives too fast and after a few turns it gets damaged. Also, getting airship requires almost beating the game, while getting the Magitek booster only requires that you have visited Altissia

The Type F Regalia is faster than regular Regalia. There is a place where it always crashes in the corner. You can always try it and hope it doesn't damage the car too much. The best option is to get the colosseum prize
It works if you have the parts that make the car taken no damage from crashes.

But I only have 3 power weapons … just on chapter 3 ! Leave 30! And just really doing all the side quest and traveling and fighting night monster and trying to collect all the i teams I find even the treasure maps ! Taking a shit load of a long time but it’s worth the wait ahaha 🤣

Bc once your done with the game you go to those lock doors that need a key! And need to at least have 9999 attack rate from what I’ve seen on other videos! So that’s what I’m preparing myself!

really nailed the trick, bro. Although I did the auto drive with mine by using pillows under the controller. The weight of the controller is enough for R2 to be pressed. I don't know if my style works for other but yours surely will.
Probably will work too, but make sure the pillow doesn't touch the directional stick.
If uou have flying mode regalia (infinity petrol) dont need magitek generator and you get exp too 😊🤙

The only use I see for the magitek Generator is to use the monster truck and regular regalia round without gasoline worries that's all which is good I thing

Yes but make sure you have the body parts that make your car indestructible installed first or you're going to have a bad time since Noctis tends to crash on one specific corner every single time.
Its a good idea, takes a lot of work in the arena for that generator, glad I got strong before doing this. Now to just get even stronger and get everything before final fight

Magitek Booster negates mp costs, it's an equippable item. Magitek Generator is a car part, and stops fuel consumption.If you sold the booster..meh. If you sold the generator, you must LOVE grinding medals in the colosseum. Play JM5 for 10k in altissa if you need gil, the 99 box prize sells for 500k.

I've been doing a very similar but more difficult trick since i got my chocobo. Basically, rent a chocobo and get in town and set your controller up to run in circles. you get AP the same way. Avg about 360 AP while sleeping. If the days run out, you still stay on chocobo till you get off, i think i had one rest period where i did not rest for 26 ingame days. I got lucky i guess and never got attacked while doing it. Best place i found is in hammerhead, right behind the sleeper camper where there billboard is.
Is it a bit more tricky to set up your controller, but that's what i did when i was still not finished with the game.

Had no idea there was a colosseum in altissia. Guess I'll have to go through it again to get the type f anyway since I missed that too
i like the idea but what if prompto asks a question about taking pictures. obviously the timer would run out and a message would appear saying "prompto will take more pictures of this and that and the command button must be pressed.. will it auto disappear after that?
Please READ the video description (or the pinned comment). It explains everything, including how to get rid of Prompto's prompts during the first circle. If you want to PERMANENTLY stop him from complaining, while driving, open up your maps view. You still get all the accumulated AP (and optional EXP) after you close the map and decide to stop the car. BUT make sure you got the Enhanced headlights and remove the 60mph and 70mph installs! I don't want to keep repeating what I wrote in the video description, but I get asked these same questions constantly.

How do you stop the dialog when (usually Prompto) says "Hey, lets stop for the night?" If you don't press anything, you stop.
Do it for the first time and say no. It won't happen again if you don't sleep (which you are not doing when driving)

Heres the issue I run into. How do I keep my controller from going idle and shutting off the screen because it pauses the game
Are you playing on the Xbox One? If yes, you need to connect the cable to the gamepad, then go into the settings and turn off the auto power off for controller while connected via wires.

Won't Ignis/Prompto ask to stop to rest at night or take a picture of the view though? That might bring this whole trick to a halt if I'm not mistaken. I haven't reached the part where I can bet at the arena so I don't know.

Kelvin Tsang Uninstal the Turbocharger and Supercharger so you don't crash going around corners, and also make sure you have the enhanced headlights to keep away the Daemons. If you haven't got those, you receive them in the "Ever Illustrious Regalia" mission.
Regalia type-F ... i know how to get it but it seems to have Problems on my game .. What do you do if you only get the second part but not the others? the wings and the engine do not appear only the stabiliser does

What about everytime he bitches about who to take pictures of. If you're not around to press x, the game will pause and eventually turn off if you leave it unattended. This is something you do in the background while you're playing League or something on your pc.
Read the video description. During the first circle, clear all Photo Ops and picture taking requests from Prompto. They will go into your Quest list and Prompto won't mention them again. Or you can keep the map view open (you still accumulate AP that you get when you close the map and stop the car), prompto won't say anything with the map view open.

That's what he and I were talking about. But according to another comment here, that only happens once per sleep. So all you have to do is let the car run and wait for this to pop up. Accept it, then you can continue farming forever without watching it.

Correction, he only asks once until you rest again, OR load a saved game. I may have gone the last 20 days or so without sleep, and have been asked more than once, whenever I save the game and come back to play later. Still, that won't effect the farming method any.

I ran into an issue. For some demented reason something makes my car take a wrong turn somewhere and ends back up at the starting point you show at the crown city blockade, only got 600 AP for an all night run.
Make sure your direction analog stick is untouched. Any slight tilt in a certain direction will force your car to make that turn instead of the natural route shown in video. Remove any 60mph or 70mph installs on regular Regalia (the Regalia Type-F by default can sometimes be too fast for some of the turns). When it is running OK, open the map screen and let it in map mode. Should be good to go.

Why not, it's no exploit or bug, it's just the game mechanics. You need the "road runner" ability (or road life) unlocked and the the magitek generator or regalia type-f (both give you unlimited fuel for the car) and you're done. To make sore the car goes in this circle start at the end of the road to Insomnia.
That's pretty neat. To all the people hating, I was skeptical at first. There are faster ways, but this is the only COMPLETELY AUTOMATIC way to gain AP that I'm aware of. Who doesn't want free AP? Thanks @edepot.

Getting 3.6M medals isn't automatic and takes quite some time. Probably much faster to spend the time 1hitting/beast wistling scorpions with the "get AP for Warp kill" Ascension.

Easiest way is to get ap is warp strike and also letting those different day quest where you get awarded ap when you get 700 credits, about 7 100 pointers or mix it up with the 50 pointers or just use your beast whistle while on a mission to let everything ad up
