How’s it running now? And how’s the wr crank feel? I have an 05 with a blown crank, and found a WR crank to put in. Would you go that route again or go yfz crank?
I'm currently in the process of rebuilding my motor and I put a new high flow oil pump in and it is hard to turn. Just wondering if you had the same issue?
I don’t think it should be any harder to turn than before. Make sure you have everything seated properly and compare your parts. Also, just read some reviews on the pump you have, and make sure it’s not something that is expected..
Last week in Ohio we had a major storm a tornado hit about 4 Miles from my house it was 95 to 97 degrees without power for 6 days it was miserable so I understand the shirt off .
WOW that is insane hot! to not even have a fan! we had something similar in WV for about 6 years ago. The whole state was practically without power. Luckily I did. Got a generator after that!
@@juicer911 we have a generator to run the freezers and stuff just couldn't take a shower I guess we are just getting spoiled, I was born in westvirginia in Logan county the mountains are so big and close together you dont get any breeze in the summer it was miserable.
@@juicer911 I just bought an 07 but missing crank. It does have a good piston. What would u recommend in a performance setup? I was thinking port polish head maybe +1 valves.. maybe cams but dunno if that be good if I had port polish and +1 valves
@@arturomedina5746 if you are going to go that far in, atleast throw a HotCams cam into it. And it depends on what you want. The WR crank is 1lb and the less rotating mass makes it rev FASTER but less torque. The opposite goes for the OEM crank. However, if the piston is OEM, the wrist pin will be larger than that of a WR. So WR crank and piston OR OEM crank and piston.
This was super interesting. I don’t know how you remembered how everything went back together. The music was very cool. Thanks for sharing!
Glad you enjoyed it!

So did u use yfz fly wheel or the wr??
"turned out to be a bit more of a basket case than I thought"
Buddy... I've neverheard a more relatable statement 🤣🤣
I am telling ya!

Very cool tutorial video sir! Please share a link where you bought that neat engine stand. Also, what other mods are done to that engine?
Motorsport Products 60-1002 MX Engine Stand
This motor was completed stock. The WR crank was great until I flew it up.

Did you get it running
@@marcuselias9814 I did
What year WR crank did you put in there?
Pretty sure it was 2006
@@juicer911 Thanks. A now extinct year lol. I ended up ordering an 07 but thanks for the reply and keep up the great content! Love ya man.
Bro did you end up using a yfz head or did you have to change into a wr head?
You are able to use the YFZ stock head
