  • Nemo Oil has been used gardeners for quite some time to manage diseases like powdery mildew and insect infestations of spider mites, aphids, scale, and merely bugs. However a lot of gardeners aren't able to benefit from it's wonderful properties because of some common mistakes. Lets go over a few here in this video.

    I agree with you 💯! I was an affiliate for Plantonix and now I work for them remotely. You want to use the 💯 cold pressed neem oil. Honestly, the neem oil in big box stores is “oiled” down per say and it’s not cold pressed. Start when plants are very young, stay ahead of the issues. I spray my Neem Bliss at night. A lot of gardeners say you can spray early in the morning. I advise against that. Neem oil to plants is like tanning oil to us. That hot sun will scald the foliage. I love you mentioning my friend Q from LionsCrest. Great guy! This by far is a great video! Good job!

      And your title wasn’t aggressive. You want titles like that. Your title was spot on. New gardeners need to know how to use it and stay away from neem oil that isn’t 💯 cold pressed. Plantonix also makes neem seed meal! The NPK is 6-1-2.

      A lot of gardeners like to use neem oil on squash bugs. I use blue hubbard squash as a trap crop for squash bugs and vine borers.

      One other thing, use soap that isn’t a antibacterial soap to break up the neem oil. The antibacterial soap can kill good bacteria in the soil. Awesome video!!!!!!!

    What about pillbugs???
    Do you HAVE to use soap in the neem oil mix?
    Can you use Dawn or similar?

    Yes sir. That's why I tell first time users to test spray and see how that plants reacts for 24-48hrs. Then spray 7-10 days until the insect cycle has been broken.

    MIG to the RESCUE! Just in time too. The title was appropriate, and it is my fault for NOT having it in the first place. So, as I said to Broke, I'm going to stock up on all three just in case, because maybe, just maybe, each could be used for different things as well. I love the flexibility. Great share! FLAWLESS as always...😘😄

    Great information brother . I've noticed it's a difference in what to use to battle hard shell and soft shell insects . I noticed neem oil don't work that effective on hard shell insects. Thanks for sharing 👍🏽 Always great information from you.

    Thanks for this ! another thing that I think keeps Neem from working well is that the temp of the water that you mix it in for a soil drench needs to be on the warm side. People like myself who like to just scan the instructions can miss that 😊

    Hello Turf I did use the neem but I had the powder neem I got from the health food store it worked really good I sprinkle some in my pots and watered the plants and in about a day or two i didn't see any more aphids I didn't think it was going to work because it was not the oil but it did thanks for the update on neem oil.

      Powder Neem 🤯 Oh I'm going to get my hands on some of that!

    • @rey3472
      @rey3472 2 года назад +1

      The Azadirhactin contained in the powdered will become a systemic insecticide if it is watered into the roots of a plant. The plant will become not only distasteful to insects via its antifeedant properties, but insects already feeding will be subject to the insect growth regulator properties of the Azadirachtin. In India, the farmers make a "tea" out of the neem tree leaves. That is then applied like an insecticide on crops. It will even stop locusts.
