  • There is a glitch where the display is shutting off pixels by the bezels and causing an "enlarged bezel" to occur. it seems to be software related and can be alleviated by exiting to the home screen and reopening the app.

    I recently learned about this with my 77” Sony OLED lol. I was worried at first thinking it was a display glitch. I also get the same exact behavior where the display readjusts like you did in :50…I thought it was a glitch with the HDMI/inputs on the TV. Thankfully this is normal. The setting is called Pixel Shift, you can enable or disable it (recommended to keep enabled to avoid pixel burn).

    Hi!!! Could you show us the a90j and the x900e in the same shot to compare brightness, detail and sharpness with the same content?
    Do you know if there is a difference about sharpness between the pixel structure oled and the pixel structure led tv? (I don't mean the sharpness which comes from the relation between resolution and size. I mean the sharpness which the chip and the panel process) Thanks 🙂

    • @SpencersStuffTV
      @SpencersStuffTV  3 года назад +1

      I do not own the x900e anymore. I sold it. The brightness between the two is comparable, almost the same by my eye. The detail and sharpness is a large step up from the x900e. The processor is all around producing a much cleaner and sharper image

    How is the motion on it so far? Have read some comments elsewhere saying it has a little judder but I find it hard to believe.

    • @SpencersStuffTV
      @SpencersStuffTV  3 года назад +2

      I would say it's smooth about 95% of the time. There are occasional complex scenes where there can be a little jutter when a bunch is happening on screen. Otherwise it's a huge step up over my 930e. Easily some of the best motion I've seen

      @@JB-sh1ho Ahh I see. I haven't watched a lot of movies yet because I need to get me a dedicated UHD Blu Ray player, but have watched a few on HBOMAX. Happy Gilmore and No Country For Old Men and I was blown away. Definitely a 3d depth look. All tv's do have pros and cons. I'd definitely done the same as you if I wasn't feeling satisfied and return it. I upgraded from a crappy 2015 LG 1080p Roku tv that was a slug to operate. So coming from something like that this tv was a HUGE upgrade. Sucks to hear it wasn't up to par for you. I can't rave about this tv enough. My only con is the HEAT the screen can produce you can feel it radiating. Then with air flow around it the recycled plastic the TV is made out of will make a popping sound from heating up or cooling down. These high end pricey tv's shouldn't be made from recycled materials imo. I just notice it sometimes when watching sports and focused on the game then you'll randomly here that popping sound from it expanded and contrasting some. I'm all for recycling but when its this expensive use the quality components is all.
