Watching Soul Train on TV was not just a very brief and vicarious glimpse into African American Culture on Saturdays. No, it was also a trip into what was then some of the most original, most popular and modern dance choreography originating out of Los Angeles.
Dude at the beginning was living his best life! I hope the best to him and everyone else in this! I hope they are all still living life to the fullest! WOOO!!!
Pure JOY. I love and respect the young dancers expressing themselves. This IS life. This is why we are alive. God bless them and hope that they are still grooving even as elder statesmen. Mwa:)
Hey I loved to watch Soul Train back in the day. It was said back in the day white boys couldn't dance but hey I had no problem because I could do the bump with the best of anyone and most of all the black ladies would ask me to dance. Peace Out
Which “white” chick? What does white even mean? What shade between absolute black and absolute white is “white” or “black”? Only Stevie Wonder or Charlie Pride can say someone’s black or white…
My Favorite Decade Ever!!!!!

our high school was light years behind the LA high schools those kids came from. Didn't know too many college kids who could move like that back then.
Now african-american culture is going down. No dancers no singers only primitive expresions.
