You can't touch this You can't touch this You can't touch this You can't touch this My, my, my, my (You can't touch this) Music hits me so hard Makes me say "Oh, my Lord Thank you for blessing me With a mind to rhyme and two hyped feet" It feels good when you know you're down A super dope homeboy from the Oaktown And I'm known as such And this is a beat, uh, you can't touch I told you, homeboy You can't touch this Yeah, that's how we livin', and ya know You can't touch this Look in my eyes, man You can't touch this Yo, let me bust the funky Iyrics You can't touch this Fresh new kicks and pants You got it like that Now you know you wanna dance So, move outta your seat And get a fly girl And catch this beat While it's rolling Hold on Pump a little bit and let 'em know it's going on Like that, like that Cold on a mission, so fall on back Let 'em know that you're too much And this is a beat, uh, they can't touch Yo, I told you You can't touch this Why you standing there, man? You can't touch this Yo, sound the bell, school's in, sucker You can't touch this Give me a song or rhythm Making them sweat, that's what I'm giving them Now, they know You talk about the Hammer When you're talkin 'bout a show That's hyped and tight Singers are sweatin' So pass them a wipe or a tape To learn What it's gonna take in the 90's to burn The chart's legit Either work hard or you might as well quit That's word, because, you know You can't touch this You can't touch this Break it down! Stop, Hammer time! "Go with the flow", it is said If you can't groove to this, then you probably are dead So, wave your hands in the air Bust a few moves Run your fingers through your hair This is it, for a winner Dance to this and you're gonna get thinner Now move, slide your rump Just for a minute, let's all do the bump (Bump, bump, bump) Yeah You can't touch this Look, man You can't touch this You'll probably get hyped, boy, 'cause you know you can't You can't touch this Ring the bell, school's back in Break it down! Stop, Hammer time! You can't touch this You can't touch this You can't touch this Break it down! Stop, Hammer time! Every time you see me That Hammer's just so hype I'm dope on the floor And I'm magic on the mic Now, why would I ever Stop doing this With others making records That just don't hit? Airscaper same
SAME!!!!
Airscaper me too.
Haha... but Rick James is the King ;)
i cant believe you listen to this at all lol
All those new rappers, u can't touch this
Heck yeah, most rap nowadays is a sad affair.
Loudness Junior lol
It's not just music that was great production for a given time. Dance moves was out of it's time and highly influential for decades later.
hey
Loudness Junior this not really best example of rap in anyway.
In 1990 a friend said I needed to see something asap. I went over to his house and he stopped in front of the t.v. and said "Get a load of this!" I watched in stunned amazement as M.C. did his thing - never having seen anything like it before. This was the first Rap song that I listened to all the way through. "Can't Touch This" never gets old.
This song came out in 2009 lil bro
@@Mon-q1l: I'm sorry, friend, but MC released this classic in 1990.

both the record of this music and the pants should be in a museum.

I still have a pair of these i got from his concert in 95 in Oakland 😮😮😮😮
Who is the Muse I am?
Even this is better in 2020 than what’s on radio today.

Good music
this is legendary stuff.
True👌🏿
Google Rick James - Super Freak. MC Hammer stole the whole melody from him.
Considering Rick James himself is credited as one of the co-writers for this song, I'd hardly consider this 'stolen'...
He received millions of dollars for it as well...
+Shade01982
I heard Rick James didn't want this sampled
MrTaz081 He initially didn't. That's why he sued for copyright infringement, but only after he found out it was making millions. They settled for him being noted as co-writer and receiving part of the profit.
In all honesty, MC Hammer does tend to rip off other artists...
I came here for a 90s vibe and I got it. Over and out lol
this song is AWESOME never gets old mc hammer is a good singer make you want to dance has a good beat to it😂😄😅
scorpio 1111 sameeeeeeeee

it's more end 80's vibe 😂😄
Watch The Fresh Prince Of Bel Air if you like those vibes.
Old school songs still dominate this world 🌎 today. They made gold tracks back kn the day. Love it
Do you realise Niki Minaj’s super freaky girl has the same back sound?
💯 Agree!!! I got a playlist..has all the old school songs..
I play it n whoever is with me..start dancing n no matter what...they all say..miss this sh#&t!! When music was at it's #1

I was listening to super freak and was like “what happened to the ‘can’t touch this’” and then realized there were two different songs with the same beat
Super Freak has the original beat, afterwards MC Hammer and Black Eyed Peas stole it

Love this song
You can't touch this
You can't touch this
You can't touch this
You can't touch this
My, my, my, my
(You can't touch this)
Music hits me so hard
Makes me say "Oh, my Lord
Thank you for blessing me
With a mind to rhyme and two hyped feet"
It feels good when you know you're down
A super dope homeboy from the Oaktown
And I'm known as such
And this is a beat, uh, you can't touch
I told you, homeboy
You can't touch this
Yeah, that's how we livin', and ya know
You can't touch this
Look in my eyes, man
You can't touch this
Yo, let me bust the funky Iyrics
You can't touch this
Fresh new kicks and pants
You got it like that
Now you know you wanna dance
So, move outta your seat
And get a fly girl
And catch this beat
While it's rolling
Hold on
Pump a little bit and let 'em know it's going on
Like that, like that
Cold on a mission, so fall on back
Let 'em know that you're too much
And this is a beat, uh, they can't touch
Yo, I told you
You can't touch this
Why you standing there, man?
You can't touch this
Yo, sound the bell, school's in, sucker
You can't touch this
Give me a song or rhythm
Making them sweat, that's what I'm giving them
Now, they know
You talk about the Hammer
When you're talkin 'bout a show
That's hyped and tight
Singers are sweatin'
So pass them a wipe or a tape
To learn
What it's gonna take in the 90's to burn
The chart's legit
Either work hard or you might as well quit
That's word, because, you know
You can't touch this
You can't touch this
Break it down!
Stop, Hammer time!
"Go with the flow", it is said
If you can't groove to this, then you probably are dead
So, wave your hands in the air
Bust a few moves
Run your fingers through your hair
This is it, for a winner
Dance to this and you're gonna get thinner
Now move, slide your rump
Just for a minute, let's all do the bump
(Bump, bump, bump)
Yeah
You can't touch this
Look, man
You can't touch this
You'll probably get hyped, boy, 'cause you know you can't
You can't touch this
Ring the bell, school's back in
Break it down!
Stop, Hammer time!
You can't touch this
You can't touch this
You can't touch this
Break it down!
Stop, Hammer time!
Every time you see me
That Hammer's just so hype
I'm dope on the floor
And I'm magic on the mic
Now, why would I ever
Stop doing this
With others making records
That just don't hit?
I toured around the world
From London to The Bay
It's "Hammer! Go, Hammer! MC Hammer! Yo, Hammer!"
And the rest can go and play
"U Can't Touch This"
You can't touch this
You can't touch this
Yeah
You can't touch this
I told you
You can't touch this
Too hype, you can't touch this
Yo, we're outta here
You can't touch this

I cannot agree more. And I have enough bad mood, that I can export it. On industrial level.

Back to that time when rap was pretty good, no violence or gangsta bullshit!

Niggaz4life is their Album that came out that year and it was their best. It was very hardcore but South Central and Compton was a very very fcked up violent place back in those days and they were coming out really letting alot of people know in uncensored language for the first time what it was really like there. And it actually had a lot of good music. Wasn't there first album but by far their best.
He's right when he said, "can't touch this". The only gangster that didn't need to look or act tough to intimidate people.

A time when rap was simpler.
You’re right about that!!!
The time when rappers ripped off others' music and put lyrics to it.
@The Homelander Thank you. Rick James was ok with it.
@The Homelander more extensive than that. David Bowie sued Vanilla Ice. Other examples where the rapper took the whole song/beat I can't recall at the moment.

Sir, if you think that rap today is bad, you have never heard Kendrick Lamar, J Cole, Chance the Rapper, Childish Gambino, ASAP Rocky and Logic among others. You should listen to Money Trees, Real and Sing About Me/Im Dying Of Thirst
La buena música es la que perdura , y a demás es la que realmente existe.
