Lovely country, fantastic scenary and people, I've been there twice recently and I recommend visiting highly. Make a stop in Visoko and check out the pyramids.
I think Eastern European countries are so underrated as travel destinations. This, once again, really shows me that I have to go there and explore. Thank you for sharing! It's beautiful :)
You are so right! I think we could use more of that kick back and relax lifestyle. Life a little slower pace is nice! I think my favorite part of the video was the copper smithing, such a cool thing to see! Handmade items are always my favorite!
Yep, I don't know why as Americans we feel so inclined to be so busy we stress ourselves out. April got a pair of copper earrings from Bosnia, and she loves them
Cool video! Super interesting to see more of Eastern Europe! There’s a lot of places we’ve visited that sound sketchy, because of past perceptions, but are totally friendly and really interesting…Bosnia sounds like one of those places! Everything looks really cool in the video…thanks for sharing!
Thanks; I feel like I still have so much to learn with flying my drone. Really? That's good to hear...was hoping for that--the intro keeping viewers. 😎 Ever been to a sports event with such passionate fans?!?
Ah, I'm missing Sarajevo already. 😄 Definitely agree with you on taking the time for coffee or chats or just sitting around. In 'developed' cultures (and my and your travels) we don't really do enough of just chilling out. I loved how simple but good Bosnian food was. I did discover that restaurants were even cheaper once you go even a little bit outside the Old Town area. Btw, what do you consider a European faucet? 😜
Right?! We can relate to that... Yep--too much of the "rat race" mentality. We found that too with the restaurants... I think she was referring to the fact that the shower head wasn't attached to the wall to stand under like they typically are in the US--even the detachable ones
The copper shop was awesome so much history in that store. And in regards of how balance I am, we have a good work life balance here but I have the feeling Americans in general are more workaholic. That experience of going into a football game! But hooligans letting you turn off the camera is a different experience...
Indeed...we could have spent hours checking out all of the craftsmanship in the copper shop! Thank you for sharing about your work/life balance; we enjoy hearing how this is for others throughout the world. It's a shame that Americans are so workaholic. We enjoyed the craziness at the football game! Wish I could have gotten more footage, but...oh well 😎
You said everybody smokes, nobody skips. What mostly do they smoke do they have particularly specialized? Or just regular tobacco, cigar things like that?

Thank you for your comment! What did you enjoy most in Sarajevo? We did not know there are pyramids nearby...?!

@@GoTravelOnTheCheap Oh, I think that's only in the really old installations, particularly attached to bath tubs I guess.

There were some people that hand-roll their cigarettes, others smoke them from a package... What part of our video did you enjoy most? :)
I’m from Sarajevo, living in USA, since war… dobnot smoke never have, but take my time for coffie
We think it a lovely thing that Bosnians take time for their coffee! Thank you so much for watching & commenting; we value your support 😊
