I've watched probably all videos on my hometown and this is probably one of the best. I think you understand why Sarajevo has such a special place in our 💕
I’m in Bosnia now, so I was looking forward to seeing what you thought about Sarajevo in this video. I agree that the biggest impact was the genocide museum and also the tunnel museum. It’s an important part of the recent history of the city, so it’s certainly a good way to understand what happened during that time. It really is a beautiful city, Thanks for sharing!
I'm a Sarajevan who hasn't been back in a while. Thank you for showcasing my birthplace! I miss my beautiful city. 13:11 Yup that's Sarajevo for you :) Of all the things, I miss my Sarajevans the most. Great video!
Fun fact about that underground tunnel. The serbs didn't know about the tunnel until after the war ended, many people in the city of sarajevo also had no idea about it, showing you how important and secret it must be kept in order to function. Great video.
I really enjoyed my time in Bosnia, very unique country, thanks in large part to our amazing tour guide Vekas from Bosnian Tours. He customized the tour to suit our interests, and his dedication ensured that we fully experienced the country and our trip, which is really rare for guides in Bosnia. We visited approximately 15 different places in just a few days. If you are planning your next trip I would highly recommend everyone to visit Bosnia.
Thank you for visiting the war museums and learning about our painful past. You two are great and I hope you get to visit Bosnia again sometime. Best wishes from Bosnia
Wow. Excellent video. Thank you for sharing your insights into the importance of visiting Sarajevo. Your reflections on what can be learned from history are terrific. This video was very helpful in planning my upcoming trip to the city.
We’d love to visit Sarajevo! So much history! Glad you visited all the museums and shared some of the history 🙏 Can’t believe the difference on that East/West spot 😱 Karuzo seems like such a cool spot and your food looked so delicious! Wow, the white fortress looks amazing with incredible views! And so does the cable car! Especially on your way down at sunset. So crazy to see that abandoned bobsled track. Yaaay! Salsa dancing 🤗
Wonderful video and very informative without being too cliche like most travel videos on youtube. I can tell y'all enjoy traveling and do your best to immerse yourselves into the destination. As someone who is heading to Sarajevo soon I got great trip ideas from your video and only have one question...where did you find salsa dancing on Wednesday nights?
Thank you. Awsome video. I wish you saw it in the summer and the Film Festival, totally different vibe. If you get a chance to go back, please go during that time 🎉
This seems to be a very interesting place, I hope I can visit sometime in the future. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much! And please keep up the great job! Subscribed!!
So many great activities and attractions to see therelike the museum, cathedral and interesting brick house. That river was quite brown! Wouldn't want to accidentally fall in there 😬. I'd love to visit one day!
Hey guys, there is so much history here. You did such a good job identifying a variety of things to do. I really enjoyed hearing about The Stubborn House, such a unique story. The vegan food you had looked delicious 🙌 we have been trying more vegetarian and vegan dishes lately and so far have been impressed.
Yes it’s taken us years to commit to going fully vegan and we just started 2 months ago. We look at food completely different now but really appreciate the health benefits despite the challenges veganism presents while on the road.
You will be fine in Bosnia. We didn't have any racial issues in Bosnia. We don't know anything about the education system there, so we can't comment on that.
Bosnia never had a racism problem, because majority of Bosnians are egalitarian by nature due to multicultural history. I think Bosnia is the last country in the world where you'd have a problem because of the color of your skin.

11:46 We Bosnians have crazy weddings one of the things that we do is take a pistol and just shoot in the air, that was probably a wedding happening
Interesting! I never heard of that before. Thanks for sharing!
You presented this beautifully.....makes me earnestly curious to see this place.
PEACE ✌
Many thanks! Hope you enjoy Sarajevo as much as we did!

Yes evidently the river is not usually like that. Those were excessive flood waters. We also wonder what it looks like in more normal conditions.
It's a mountain river so it carries a lot of sediment from the hills surrounding Sarajevo.
Wonderful video 👍❤❤❤
My City , Thank you so much for your 💗🥀
Glad you liked the video! Kind regards!
Lovely! Cheers for more awesome and incredible globetrotting adventures! 🥂❤️✨

Hey! Thanks for the insightful video. Which month did you guys travel to Sarajevo? It seemed to be frequently raining.
Yes, this was November so cold and rainy.
I enjoyed your interesting video. I'm rooting for you
Thanks so much! We really appreciate it!
I'd appreciate it if you watched it on my channel.
My city ❤❤❤
My favourite is Svorvo House, which was the Turkish Governors residence and an ethnography museum
Very cool! Thanks for sharing the tip!
Your accommodation is in my hood Skenderija :)
Very cool! 😎
GREAT ADVENTURE, THANK YOU SO MUCH !!!!! KEEP GOING
Question, is the woundes from the 90's still open? specially in Bosnia?
Yes, I would say the wounds are still open unfortunately, especially in Mostar less so in Sarajevo. Mostar still has some war-damaged buildings even.
I'm going to Sarjevo in September. Do you know what the weather is like?
I believe that’s right between summer and fall. So it should still be nice. Not too hot or cold.
Another nice video :)
Many thanks! 😃
Wayyy Kool
Many thanks!
Whew - that muddy river tho - wow
❤❤❤❤😊

Hello
Please can you advice me to go and study in Bosnia and Herzegovina as being a black person?
You will be fine in Bosnia. We didn't have any racial issues in Bosnia. We don't know anything about the education system there, so we can't comment on that.
@@LucasWorldTravel thanks 🙏 for your reply, it really helps me

Hey
Hi! Thanks for stopping by!
So wait...its already cold there?
This was in November. We are so far behind on editing!
@@LucasWorldTravel Ha! Story of my life on my other page...I'm 6 months behind and trying to catch up - LoL
Are they open to black people?
We had no problems! Someone even gave us fruit on a bus, so they were super nice in our experience.
Bosnia never had a racism problem, because majority of Bosnians are egalitarian by nature due to multicultural history. I think Bosnia is the last country in the world where you'd have a problem because of the color of your skin.
Muslim population in Eastern Europe, Kosovo 95%, Bosnia 60%, Albania 70%, North Macedonia 40%, Russia 15%, Bulgaria 8% Greece 5%
