Very nice video. Bosnia exceeded all my expectations, and I had an absolutely fantastic time there! It's such a remarkable country. All credit goes to our amazing tour guide Vekas from Bosnian Tours for making it so special. He customized the tour to perfectly match our preferences, and his dedication ensured that we got the most out of our visit and experienced the true essence of the country. It's not something you find very often with guides in Bosnia. Despite the short duration, we managed to explore around 15 different locations. If you're planning your upcoming vacation, I highly recommend considering a trip to Bosnia.

There is no war between the 2, but when you look at how politicians are misrepresenting us, ppl could come to that false conclusion. We have no hate for Serbia, we just don't like the serbs who have beeen radicalised since childhood and raised to throw empty yet hurtful comments. But this is also due to being uneducated and it depends on where they grew up etc. Also, some Serbs born in Bosnia still call themselves Serbs instead of Bosnians. This is the mentality of some ppl trying to separate. But we have no hate for Serbia, they are our neigbours geographically and within the country. Same goes for Croats

Bosnia is like a small country as well, Sarajevo is beautiful and kind of big, but still very familiar…so you also know “the faces” that you meet on everyday base. Even the biggest national and international stars like Dzeko, or Dino Merlin are walking around the city and sitting around, drinking coffee and nobody really cares, because they are also neighbors somehow, there is a saying in Sarajevo: nobody could be a star here!
You can be a designer in Italy and create clothes for the biggest stars and you couldn’t sell your products in your own country, because there is always one person who knows you when you were a child, when you do something stupid, or look stupid, when your nose runs…so how can you be a star designer for this person and there is always someone you know, that knows you…so it’s very familiar and when you see different faces that you can’t assign to anybody, you are interested, it’s not like staring in a negative way, it’s more the interest: oh look at him! Where is he from, is he a tourist, is he working here, living here…you somehow try to put him in your own familiar world, so when you see him the next time you know: ahhh that is my Turkish friend from Istanbul - for example. Also black persons, we have like our black basketball player in the women team, he is a national hero for us…there is no racism (generally spoken - there are some idiots everywhere), but it’s just the curiosity who the new person you don’t know is.

Yea, it was a pain getting all those immigration papers here in the states. When I moved to Africa, The teacher spoke Ibo and English - too bad I only knew Tagalog. Learned English by watching Charlie’s Angels and Sesame Street. Those stares are uncomfortable for sure. Really cool hearing their story.

Is it easy to find a job as an English Teacher? I have 28 years experience of Teaching English as a second language in Thailand, Indonesia and China. I would like to live and work in Bosnia. Mostar is my first choice, But basically anywhere in Bosnia would be fine for me.

@@robinhazell6019 we don't live in Bosnia. We made a video about people who moved to Bosnia. Our friend who lives in Sarajevo and we interviewed on this video, she teaches online. Or at least she used to. She just opened a coffee place as well.
We recommended online because when we do teach online we make $20 and up. Check places like italki, preply, or even cambly.
We work online because we travel full time, so we can't speak about local jobs in any of the countries we visit.

Very true, as a Bosnian as much as I would love for ppl to come live here, I have to say to do so when you have secured a job or to come touristically if you don't wanna stay. It is really hard for us Bosnians to find a job, not to mention foreigners coming in. So do be vary of that because corruption is at a stupid high in our country and paperwork takes ages, as well as being able to visit doctors. However, touristically it's an absolutely amazing place for all people, no matter skin colour
