Dont feel too bad, the 70s left us some rad music, movies, clothes, etc for us all to enjoy as well. But my heart will forever ache because I didnt love through that time. Youre very lucky! Im just glad Im alive to experience what that era brought us
90s were very good time too, but now this mobilephone madness and over digitalization is taking us to a darker place. Less human connections, shared spaces and real life stuff together. Kinda sad but still lots of gigs to connect people, the problem is that most of the modern music comes from sausage factory and sounds like turd, so many poeple seem to miss the old school soul of the music world.
@Edward Harshaw go fuck yourself ass hat. She really is. Had she been a man, I think she would be a much more respected guitarist. Totally underrated... And a total BA performer as well. Still doing the kicks...
@@petedavis7970 Agree 💯% with your assessment. I must admit, I love how she never seems to play this intro the same way twice. I believe it shows how she continues to innovate her sound. I give her 5 full horns up. 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
So let this sink in.. Nancy Wilson was 62 in this video.. Sixty....Two!!!!! What an absolute LEGEND!!!! One of the most truly amazing women in music and she's been doing it as long as i've been alive.
I agree it’s a pretty good intro for a live performance is justified it’s fitting in pretty well... i’ve always loved and a Nancy with heart and their music that will never change they made some great music. But I look at some of the comments here and I just have to laugh let’s be honest OK these girls are 60+ years old and they’re doing well no doubt about it the people act as if their sex goddess says they are so good looking and blah blah blah blah blah.... no they are far from that they’re a very good looking in their 20s no doubt about it. Get real people... If either one of these women walked into your home with no make up and just stripped naked you would say get the fuck out of here
Nancy Wilson will FOREVER be my first crush. I had my mom buy me a HEART poster just for her. Nancy was and is the only blonde that has my heart.... GORGEOUS!!!!
So cool, it's like for a few seconds Nancy broke out of her own guitar trance and gave a beaming smile to the crowd. I could very easily quit my job and watch and listen to these girls day and night - they'll always rock!
First time I heard and saw Heart they were opening for Queen in LA. After seeing Heart, Queen was a letdown. Still a Heart fan to this day. Greatest sister act ever.
Had the biggest crush on her when I was young...she is still such a phenomenon. What a blessing to hear her artistry. She still wows, effortlessly it seems. Thanks Nancy
Saw them as they started out in Oil Can Harry's in Vancouver B.C. in the 70s. And they sat for a drink with us between sets. One of the few bands that truly are legendry for vocals and arrangements. Howard Leese joining Paul Rodgers in the last few years doing Free and Bad Company tunes. Amazing!

There aren't many bands or artists that can say they sound better than their early years. Ann Wilson is on of those vocalists who can bring it just as good, if not better, than she did back when this song came out. The hallmark of any "good" song is how much fun the artists have playing it. You can see how much fun Heart has playing this song. After all the years it's been since this song was released, they still have that much fun playing it.
They still got it! I went to see the "First Day of Rock and Roll" in New Orleans back in 70 something. I really wanted to see "Heart" more than any band. The 1970s were epic in many ways, Heart was my first concert, but there is plenty of great music out there today.
