Our friend Adam Lisagor is the founder of Sandwich, a video production company based in Los Angeles. Adam uses Luna in combination with a teleprompter - a unique arrangement that inspired us to build a new feature for Luna Display called Teleprompter Mode.

Thank you so much, saved me the extra expense of buying a pro version of a teleprompter app in able to mirror it.
So glad to have happened upon this video. My current setup is a Glide Gear Teleprompter and a Samsung Galaxy Tab A. I'm connected to it using Reflector (using an iOS only teleprompter app), and for Zoom calls, Duet (which supports a hardwire connection). However, Duet fails because it does not offer a 'flip video', or as noted in your video, 'Teleprompter Mode'. Because of this simple reason, I'm replacing my Samsung Tablet/Duet and dropping in my iPad Mini with AstroPad. I may loose some screen real estate but Teleprompter mode is a game changer.

But is there also a teleprompter mode for the connection between a Windows PC and the Ipad?
In this video, and in the description on the Astropad website, there is always the use case of a Teleprompter mode with a Mac and an iPad and it looks like you can get into that mode through the Mac Settings, not the Preferences of the app itself.

Sooooo I’ve had my lunadisplay for a few years now but hadn’t used it since sidecar came out. I just bought a teleprompter now that covid is here and was bummed that my iPad couldn’t be used as a display due to the image being flipped. I started searching for a possible solution and came across your blog post! My teleprompter is in transit but I can’t wait till I get to test it out! I’ll reach out to you guys when I post on YT! Hi Adam, I have the same setup as you and there is a solution to the mirrored screen on the teleprompter (seeing the text mirrored and therefore not being able to read it), without using Luna Display. Get AirDisplay for Ipad (it's about 16 euros), this turns your iPad into an external display. The great thing with AirDisplay is that the software allows you to flip the screen, that way you can see all the screen correctly in the telepromptor

guessing the gigantic piece of glass and tripod beam splitter deal isn't included or available to purchase through Astropad- good video and demo but feels like such a niche feature for an already niche product.

When Teleprompter Mode is turned off, Luna will function as an extended display for your computer.

Adam, ¿can I use Luna display with a teleprompter (according to your video), and connect the MacBook via HDMI to a videoswitch at the same time? I need to read a PowerPoint in the teleprompter and click to another slide and it will show in the teleprompter and to the videoswitch at the same time. The use case is read in the teleprompter and stream the image to obs
Was that music deliberate? It was doing my head in.
Is there a benefit to using a tablet (ipad/samsumg, etc) as opposed to a monitor such as a Lilliput? I'm not sure which I should go with?!?
