13:32 Regarding your 'Tommy Darmody kills Nucky' question.... Nowhere does it state Tommy knew Nucky killed his father, or that this was his motivation for killing Nucky. Nowhere is that even suggested. Go back and rewatch every interaction between Tommy and Nucky in the final two episodes altogether. You'll see that Tommy wasn't taking revenge on Nucky for Jimmy. Instead, Tommy felt insulted by Nucky, which grew into an outrage after Nucky refused to take him (Tommy) under his wing in the hopes that Nucky would open the same doors of opportunity for him to get ahead in the world the way the Commodore had done with Nucky 20 years earlier. Instead of receiving the slightest amount of interest or empathy from him, Nucky only wanted to give him money to go away so that he'd never have to see him again. The tipping point came when they were in the diner after Nucky got a drunk and belligerent Tommy out of a juvenile holding cell. When Tommy makes one last run at Nucky to bring him under his tutelage, Nucky only hands him a $100 bill, which Tommy rips up right in front of his face. As far as his talks with Jillian goes, it's heavily implied that Tommy had recently begun visiting her at the mental asylum she was committed to now that he'd returned to Atlantic City and ran away from Julia Segorsky's home in Wisconsin. When Nucky finally went to speak with Jillian for the last time in the mental asylum, the nurse tells him Jillian loves getting visitors, and that her situation has been improving lately as a result of getting visitors. There's no one else in Atlantic City who'd be visiting her after she'd ran a brothel, became a heroin addict, and killed an innocent man as a body double just to be able to inherit the Commodore's old house. The only other possible character that could be visiting her now is her grandson Tommy.
Harrow's best kill is the sniper shot through the diner window to kill the thug that cut up Jimmy's favorite call girl. Amazingly tense scene and as a film buff the cinematography, suspenseful monologue and the detail of the bullet traveling through a waiter's water pitcher with him barely noticing is one of my favorite moments in the show.
Tommy found out about Nucky from his visits to me-maw’s hospital visits. All the fans seemed to know who he was immediately in Season Five. But the big reveal and what followed gave one of the greatest shows in history a perfect ending.
Richard Harrow was by far my favorite character. The only one I thought had a shred of honor in him. I believe that Tommy's grandmother had something to do with him killing Nucky. I would think she wrote to him, while being locked away in the asylum. I think Tommy's plan was to ruin Nucky eventually and take over his role, but Nucky pushed him away and would not mentor him, that's why Tommy killed him.
Richards death was heartbreaking as it seemed he was finally making plans to move on from the gangster life... one more job then out... his mistake cost him his life in the end.
Thanks bro, just got done with my first rewatch of the series,I feel like Boardwalk Empire isn’t talked about enough, I hope this video did the show some justice. Thanks for watching boss🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
All star cast. Amazing, even the lesser characters. Jimmy, Chalkie, Richard, Nelson, Capone Nucky Held it all together and all the others. Long list. .. Thank you for the videos. Good job bud..RIP Michael ..
Richard harrow was one of the coolest gangsters his character was like a gentleman gangster it’s crazy to think harrow kept count like he had a number he wanted to Get to before he died
Big Jim Colisimos death in the very first episode is by far the most pivotal & important because its the murder & death that set everything off to eventually pave the way for all these other (real life) gangsters in the entire show to being able to rise to power afterwards , especially all the Italian gangsters in this series wether it was Massaria , Torrio , Maranzano , Rositti , Luciano , or Capone!!!! But my favorite kill in the entire series is when Nuckys Cubano bodyguard played by a unrecognizable Paul Calderon (King Of New York, Pulp Fiction, The Last Castle) kills Nuckys attacker with his own machete through the back of his head while saving Nuckys life & then cutting that same guys ear off seconds later & putting it in his pocket & walking away from the crime scene & saving Nuckys life again from any Cuban problems by making all the witnesses think that the murder was just a normal Cubano vendetta !!!! That was the smoothest two for one murder ive seen in a long time especially by a bodyguard!!!!!
Great narration about the top 10 deaths. Boardwalk Empire was my favorite HBO series! I literally cried when Jimmy was killed and then again when Owen was delivered dead in a wooden crate. I was also born and raised in NJ, but moved to Florida when I was 20-years-old. However, you can take the girl out of New Jersey, but you can’t take New Jersey out of the girl. Jersey Girl for life❤️

Rosetti's death was the most satisfying - The character I absolutely loved to hate the most. The only question was, who was going to call the shot? Lucciano? Lansky? Thompson? Joe the Boss? Rothstein? Son of the poor mechanic? Van Alden's death was the most appropriate - he'd betrayed everything and everyone in his life. Jimmy's death was the most heartbreaking - Poor guy never had a chance. His final words to Nuckey - "I died in a trench, years back. Thought you knew that" - was soul wrenching. It was as if his life he had with his wife and son never happened. It's my understanding the original intent was for Jimmy to kill Nuckey at the end of the series. The actor playing Jimmy was such a handful that he was written out of the show.

Richard Harrow isn't a rat but when it comes to men you fought in Trenchs with. I dunno man. That's an experience that bonds you more than brotherhood.
In my opinion, when Knucky gave Jimmy’s son the 1000$ and told him to leave that confirmed his suspicions that knucky killed his dad and had a guilty conscience about it, but all in all great video man as a dude who grew up right outside of philly i also loved boardwalk empire

I was wondering what led to Van Alden's death but after watching that episode again, he was about to confess to Capone and blow Malone's cover so that's why the agent shot him. Chalky Jimmy and Richard were my favorite characters. Offscreen, Gillian probably told Tommy as he got older about Nucky killing Jimmy. Or, he also could have visited her in the asylum and she told him there.
