This might work well, but I spotted a few weak points: 1. All of the components are directly connected to mains, without any insulation, therefore a dangerous situation might occur if there's a failure of the components (the mains voltage can appear on a place that is not protected against touch). 2. Using hot glue for anything that should last is a bad idea, especially when the glued joint is strained by heat. 3. You should use a discharge resistor (like 1M) in parallel with the voltage dropping capacitor for safety reasons. 4. What's the purpose of the fifth diode across the rectifier?
OM G Fifth could be for discharging cap. Yes, res would be better.
in my opinion
the fifth diode is
attempt to use like
ZENER DIODE
Thankfully it is not zener.
Apparently has not understood
The difference between
simple diode and zener diode.
OM G I mentioned diode, not cap.
OM G Thank you for info but I did not said anything about cap polarity too..
OM G
Excellent idea my friend 👍🏻😊stay connected 👌🏻
Good video
Grear Idea
Really great work, bro! :D
The aluminium rod from old door bell 😆😆 but nice recycling
King of LED! YOU are the best!
I have 2 Questions, first you not mentioned the exact value of the capacitor (means how much micro-farad ?) but you mentioned the working voltage i.e.310 volts and second as it is working in the unstable and unregulated DC voltage so during line ac voltage fluctuation the output dc voltage also increases, during this condition LED's are lost there glow capacity.
LED Kitne watt ki hai & iska connection series hai or parallel?
Please tell me......
awesome it's really nice
Awesome video can you tell me about led watt and volt used in the video what type of led is this name?. please reply soon.
GREAT VIDEO :)
the light bar has no isolation from the mains whatsoever which makes is very dangerous, life-threatening, in fact. If you're going to use a capacitative dropper like this, then it's best to enclose the whole thing so none of the wiring is accessible. It's also important to show which way around the electrolytic and centre diode are connected together. Get that wrong and the capacitor will most likely blow up.
It is important to notice that because you use a capacitor dropper there is NO GALVANIC INSULATION between main voltage and leds. Thats mean if you touch one of the led while plug in you can get a nasty electric shock or even worse. In this configuration you must encapsulate the leds to prevent any contact with they terminals. Thanks !
Congratulations on your perfect example of how to NOT use a soldering iron!
Nice 👍😀
Good Idea...
Great job.......
Isse chhote LED see banjayega kya
Some explanations would be nice!!
What software you use for text editing?
إبداع فيديو رائع
Bhai kitne volt ka bulb chahiye
bhaya 250v 4.6uf capicoter lagane se chalaga
Excelente, saludos
what kind of soldering iron is that?
Sir led kitne watt ki hai ..or output kitna hai circuit ca....
is all the polarity correct?
Why is your power strip's LED flickering?
gooooooooood
Great , but can u include the maths equations
I think the poly. Capacitor needs a resistar in parallel.
Your intro ....sounds like ...from overwatch 🤔
Thanks
कितना वोल्ट बनता है output पे।।।।
Ac या dc
sir respones
Amazing
Thanks...........
This is bloom dangerous, LETHAL, in fact. those here that say 'COO'l or 'GREAT' type their words from ignorance.
Report from me for this video .
its real F>>>>>>>NG dangerous
Awesome
Good idea in theory but very dangerous the way u set up. Firstly you have connections referenced to mains exposed but also cramming your circuitry into the lamp base like that without any heat shrink, your just asking for trouble. Bulb go bang bang if u short out the mains 😂
Buna idee
super
Why you need the fifth diode across the 5.6uF electrolyte cap?
you dont
what is led lights voltage rating and wattage. please tell.
Great! How much is the current flow in each LED? Is the resistor will carry for a longer period of time?
I think using trafo step down is more effective and safe
What's the output?
how much volt they provide
ashutosh kumar same voltage that goes in just comes out as a DC voltage instead, very dangerous setup tho don't copy his actions
Does this circuit provide constant current?
Cosmo John Not at all. It's a classic rectified capacitive dropper with a smoothing capacitor. It can't provide a stable voltage nor a stable, limited current.
What is LED voltage rating
bhaya 250v 4.6uf capicoter lagane
What is the LED voltage rating? Bro
5v
Elictric 110v or 220v
220v
Brillante idea
If you had bought the components it would have cost less that $1 but you decided to to remove them from a broken bulb which is not a really good idea because the components may be faulty and the circuit you made does not conform to any european safety standards and if you had soldered it on a vero board you could tin the vero board pads with solder so that you circuit can handle high current .
Awesome dear...
No pasta ?
310 v capatr to indian market available how many volt
a electrician would had told you this is to dangerous
I didn't work please help me
MERCURY
why did u add the 5th diode?
for protect capacitor or discharging capacitor, but this is very dangerous
Protect capacitor ;
hahahahaha
no resistor add in circuit.
discharging capacitor ;
olny one resistor 1M across
needed.
in this circuit then unplug
the capacitor is
ALWAYS CHARGE
to convert the electricity from AC to DC, because LED lights works only in DC
the circuit give us 2 to 3 v.
i didn't see any transformer there!
is it gonna work or not you can't connect 12v to to an AC voltage
no need of transformer
hi
with a chema will be better
T bulb
Ok it works but i dont trust that....
sorry it dosent work
this is not to be tried by any one pls stay safe this is dangerous .. thats a wrong circuit too ..5th diode bull shit.
Dangerous!!!
indeed
Are you serious ????????
You are bloody dangerous
what is the wattage of led light and volts
Mudassir Ansari the voltage will be around 240 and the total wattage of the led's are 9W (3x3w)
