Waldorf Wet on Wet Painting with the Young Child

Wet on wet painting allows the paints to spread and flow creating an atmosphere rather than a picture. The painting can be more an exploration of color and expression of the soul, whereas a drawing is more representation of things that you are trying to recreate on a picture. So let the color speak and play and the paint brush dance across your page.
Paints used are Stockmar watercolor paints
Paper is heavy weight water color paper
Brush is one inch flat
