Hi, can you tell me what crayons you recommend for first grade please? Loving your videos, I’m home educating my two children and I’m so happy to have found these so thanks so much for sharing your knowledge and experience 😊
Hi. So glad you are finding my videos useful on your homeschooling journey. I’m using Stockmar block and stick crayons. Filana is another company that makes crayons I like to use. 🙂
Hi, can you tell me what crayons you recommend for first grade please? Loving your videos, I’m home educating my two children and I’m so happy to have found these so thanks so much for sharing your knowledge and experience 😊
Hi. The crayons I use are Stockmar beeswax crayons, you can buy them on Art Makes Sense the US Mercurius store. Filana are also a good brand that is even more natural than the Stockmar ones. Hope this helps. Hope your homeschooling journey is going well!
Fantastic ❤. I am likely picking a first grade this next a academic year 2024/25 and this is quite helpful.🙏
Glad you are finding my videos helpful! Best of luck with your first grade if that comes to fruition!🙂
This video helps me so much for a homework! And the story melts my heart <3
Thank you for teaching us the song.
Could you make one how you made this form also please?
Thanks for your great sharing! Do you have any suggestions or videos guide children which learnt by their body the form drawing before drawing in the paper? Much hope your feedback.
I will see about making some videos with exercises to do before drawing g. Thank you for the suggestion!
Hi, what is the name of the pencil you are using?
These are prismacolor colored pencils.
this was an amazing waldorf form drawing art class for both me and my 8 year old son . thank you! looking forward to more
thanks for this series, does the child make the outline or do i as the parent/teacher? Also are you telling a story, and walking or doing the form in other ways off paper, before getting to the paper?
The child does everything, but if they are struggling you can help guide their hand so that they feel the form and how it flows across the page, and then they can attempt it themselves. It is not about being perfect, but trying one’s best.
Thank you!
Do you have this in a slower video? I'd like to do this with my 4th grade class.
Greetings, I love your videos and am trying to find you on Patreon but the link goes to 404 can't be found. :)
Hi Iris, thank you for watching my videos! And I’m so glad you find them useful. I recently paused my Patreon account as I am focusing on my art and second grade class at the moment and don’t have a lot of extra time to make videos. What grade form drawings are you interested in?
Hi there! I am homeschooling our second grader (age 8) and younger brother in kinder (age 6)I hope your school year is going well!@@RippleWaldorf
Hi, I love all the videos so therapeutic, thank you, which paper are u using and what size.
i love your videos... for first grade, is colored pencil preferred over crayons?
Hi. Usually crayons are used in first grade. I just used pencils as it was lockdown and that is what I had. Thanks for liking my videos!
I can’t seem to figure out how to access your weekly video lessons through patreon. Are they still available? Thank you!
Hi. Thank you for your interest in my lessons! I have put my Patreon on pause for the time being, so it is not available at the moment. When I open it up again I will let my subscribers on RUclips know.
Thank you this was a wonderful story and I am excited to try and make it my own for my classroom. Thank you for this and your wonder form drawing lessons too.
Lyrics?
Thank you so much for making these. Beautiful and helpful!
Thank you, Nicole. Miss seeing you at workshops!
Hi Steve! Good to hear from you. What grade are you teaching now? I’m back in first.
@@RippleWaldorf Nicole, I'm not teaching right now. I'm in a Steiner curative school/residency in New Zealand called Hohepa. I'm providing daytime employment opportunities as young adults transition from school to specialized work. I miss teaching though. We just had our Michaelmas festival being in the southern hemisphere. Are you still in the Marin Waldorf School? I truly miss attending those workshops. Learned so much with you.
This book has become more relevant because The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (Snap) benefits during COVID-19 are now gone leaving millions of Americans without the benefit as of March 2023.
Muchas gracias.
Your book is amazing I’m happy to be the first one to see it
Not my book, just me reading it. It is a gorgeous book though and I’m happy you appreciate it as much as I do! I’m a teacher and pick out library books to read to my students and have a weekly storytime program.

Can you please list what type/brand of crayons you are using with this drawing? Thank you!
Hi. Im using prismacolor art styx. They are like colored pencils without the wood.
@@RippleWaldorf thank you! I would love to see this same exercise used with shamrocks in March! 😉
What type of crayon are you using?
Hi Jennifer. Thanks for your question! I’m using prismacolor art styx. They are colored pencils without the wood.
Hi. Thanks for sharing. I'm loving your videos.
Thank you Liz! I’m so glad you are finding them useful!
For the initial circle, is clockwise a requirement? I find counterclockwise is much more natural a movement for me.
Hi Fritha. Circles are often made in the direction our culture writes in, Western societies often start circles left to right or clockwise, while Eastern countries like Japan make circles counter clockwise. But there are also indications from Steiner about circles. For children clockwise is incarnating while counter clockwise is excarnating. For adults going counterclockwise might be more appropriate than clockwise as it is a movement towards our spiritual self which we long to connect with. Hope this helps!
🙏👌👍👀🦋🦋🦋🦋
Thanks again
Thanks a lot!!
You're welcome!
What brand of crayons you are using? Beautiful art work. I will be trying this with my second and fourth grader
Hi. I’m using Stockmar beeswax crayons. They are really nice to use, but there are other companies like Filana make really good crayons as well.
What a stupid book
Dear Nicole could you share a "spruch" for starting the day? Thanks

Lovely circle Teacher Ursula, can you please write the name of the songs? Thanks.
Thank you for asking and for appreciating the circle! I’m adding her written version in the description. Nicole
There is a recipe on the last page of that book. We checked out the book from the library when I was little, and for one of my birthdays, my mom tried the recipe. It's such a good cake, that it became a birthday staple for years afterwards. Makes me happy to see this story again.
