Fourth Grade Waldorf Form Drawing Lesson a Woven Celtic Knot

This form is a fourth grade drawing. It makes stylized heart shapes which could be made round if so desired. I like to have children go over the form a number of times and think that pencils or stick crayons are better suited to this than block crayons. If you do use a block crayon, make sure it is at the end and is just to thicken the line. Form Drawing is not about making a perfect form, although we do strive for symmetry and beauty, it is rather how to allow the hand, eye and breath to flow through our drawing. Happy drawing!
