Got a build almost identical to this, but I went for the 4070 super instead to save some money. Since the 50 series cards are coming soon prices of other cards will likely drop eventually. But this build is incredible for 1440p as he said. You will easily 200-650 fps in any fps game even with ultra settings. I went with a 2TB Samsung 990 pro and a 1 TB WD SN850x for my boot drive. Lightning quick speeds for any application. The 32 GB of T-Force Delta ram is phenomenal too, these sticks have the lowest latency and are about as cheap as it gets for ddr5. They even have rgb and look amazing

I had the same concern when I first upgraded and saw the temps. Turns out that's normal for these things but getting a good water cooler (360mm aio if your case supports it but you can get away with a good 240/280 cooler) is gonna make your job easier
It doesn't make sense to say "13900k who needs 24 cores." That's not how recource utilization works. If the 13900k could use all of its 24 cores in Gaming, the AMD CPUs would have little to say. Gaming utilizises 4-8 cores maximum, so the 13900k and the 7800X3D always fight with same core count.

Threadripper is higher score on cinebench but not more frames in any video game. 7950x and 13900k get more frames in some games but more often than not the 7800X3D wins. it's very good. The only issue which some people might be upset about is that it only has 3D cache for half of its cores and the other half have higher frequencies instead. If you put faith into you OS's process scheduler to park cores when needed - it's about the same or a bit better, or a bit worse than 7800x3D in gaming today. It is, however, better in every other multicore task, like 3D rendering, compiling code, etc. Before buying it, however, you should really ask yourself if you actually need all those cores. Chances are you absolutely don't and 8 is more than enough.

Could be overheating. Look up a few videos of how to check your temperatures. If that is the issue, you may need to remove the cooler, clean off old thermal paste, apply fresh paste and re-mount the cooler
Ti has faster clockspeeds and has slightly better Raytracing. Super varient is $80-100 cheaper and runs similar to its Ti counterpart, and it came out this year.

Yes but ddr4 ram only supports the AM4 generation (2000,3000, and 5000 series) and ddr5 only supports the AM5 (7000 series and above)

My very concern with upgrading to ryzen is the temperature. I see problems in reddit that they have high idle processor temperature.

Go for an Amd cpu 100%. Intels 13th and 14th gen are having serious issues and Amd gives u more of an upgrade path with the am5 socket

There's almost no reason to spec for a 7800X3D if you aren't going to go for a 4080 or 4090. 7600X or 13600K would be fine
