45:30 in the recent video, your dogs couldn't follow you becouse soon after you got them, you were riding a boat, and dogs tend to stop following you becouse of large bodys of water, so he was just waiting on the shore for you to come back, you can see that he is now shaking off the water
Also one reason older minecraft is easier is because the mobs had less health, they did a combat update to change the mob health and add the now "charged" attacks, back in the day you could spam click your tools and kill things almost instantly even with wooden tools. making the game a lot easier than it is now.
I watched this and the first one while I was packing up to go to the Air Force. I ship out tomorrow, and I'm a little nervous because this a huge step in what I've done with my life. Recently, I've been playing Minecraft, Elden Ring, and Terraria more because I'm going to miss the feeling those games give me. I know I'll be able to come back to them, but I'm afraid that by the time that I can come back, I won't want to. As someone with a mother who was in the Army, you just need to continuously remember the good memories with the games that you love. My mom was scared that she would give up playing the violin and dancing when she was deployed, the reminder that she loved both of those things and it was something that kept her out of several slumps in her childhood brought her back. It's been well over 20 years since she was medically discharged, and she still plays and dances like nobodies business. Even got me into doing both of them at a young age and we both keep up with it together.

They’re essentially allowed to slap ‘free range’ on eggs etc if the animals/birds were allowed even just 30 seconds free range outdoors, essentially (UK). This was a few years ago so maybe it’s changed. But the photos we were shown were awful. And then we visited a ‘free range’ pig farm and they were all covered in lumps. The farmer just shrugged when we asked what it was 🫠

If you go into water and go too far away, earth-bound pets can't follow you! You've got to put your dog IN your boat in order not to lose it, since it won't tp into water. That means you can only ever bring back one wolf (or cat) at a time. That's why you always lose them (besides yk, making them sit lol)

Just an FYI for you. You can craft mossy cobblestone. I don't know what update added it, but it's been in the game for a bit. Given, you need to find a lush cave for the moss, but once you do, that and a cobblestone generator, infinite mossy cobble.
You could make a hole in the mountain and connect it with your house and create an enchanting room with moss everywhere. This is just an idea I know you have already created a room for it

When it comes to video editing i actually think classes are helpful. I took Intro to Digital Videography in college and learned Premiere enough to organize and splice clips, trim things, timelapse, mask, and raise/lower audio. I took Intro to Motion Graphics and learned After Effects enough to animate text, visual elements, mask things, etc. The problem with me is I lack the discipline to teach myself things more often than not and I can never find a good online resource to learn that keeps my brain entertained. In classes im obligated to be there since i paid for it so I have that positive stress to keep me committed even if im bored, and a good professor makes me want to do the work so i dont disappoint them while at the same time acting as a resource to answer the hyper specific questions i may have and alter their teaching style to help me understand things better.
I still remember that island and i think you could make that into a farm island or like a place where you could build your next big house at and yes I know you don't want to make things automated but in my opinion that place would be really good for farms because it will be quite far from your house so it wont destroy the scenery that you might be aiming for. Anyways love the content and keep it up 😊😊
