Niko, I just started watching you. I caught your first video on this world and had to watch your second and now your third. I find you to be 'real', dying is part of Minecraft, although we all try not to die. Here's the kicker, I've been playing MC now for 3 or 4 years (not a big deal, right), well it gets better, I'm 71 and I enjoy playing. It keeps my fingers moving and my mind has now remembered how to be imaginative and how to 'play' again. Something people seem to lose when they get older. I'm glad my grown children (in their 50s and 40s at the time) finally talked me into trying MC. It only took them 1 or 2 years to do that. We played together on my daughter's server for about 1 year, long enough for them to teach me a few tricks (yeah, I'm old, it took me a while to "get it" - LOL). Now they've moved on but I can't get enough of MC. Keep it up, Niko, you are fun to watch and I'll keep watching as long as you keep having fun with your gameplay.

Fun fact: you can put leads on boats! So if you ever want to cross an ocean with your dogs just put em all in boats and lead the boats Theres also no speed limit for the lead on boats unlike other entities which is super nice
I have never seen any of your vids before this series. I'm a 46 yo business owner and Minecraft is my escape. Thanks for starting a world like this, and keeping it real. It's frustrating to die, but heck, that's real survival Minecraft for 99% of us. Frigging creepers and baby zombies everywhere! I actually tune out of the survival series where they never die!!
niko, I love the idea of a forever world and I have started one with the mods you have gave us. You should really keep posting this type on content because a lot of others love this including me. My types of videos to watch are building in minecraft and people who play a lot in one world, this is the first time i could actually stick to a world without abandoning it. And i watch you on the side while I play. You are very entertaining and i always watch until the end and give the video a like.😃

@@nikoyaps It looks like you are using complementary shaders. In the shader settings you can change the cave brightness, you should find it in the lighting tab
btw if u die the five minutes only starts if the chunks are loaded so if you die five hundred blocks away the timer will only start for your items when your in the whatever chunk radius

Oh and if you find a bastion like that again I would keep the magma cube spawners and create a portal there, tame the spawner get rid of the lava and put frogs in there, then you put snow blocks 1 heigh off the floor everywhere and it makes the magma cubes small enough for frogs to eat, which produces frog lights, and they are cool!

Hey Niko, I came across this video randomly and this is the best channel I have found on RUclips. I found a lot of stuff we have in common, I just want to lift this off my shoulders. I am 13 turning 14. I don't wanna grow up, I just want to run outside and play tag with my good old friends. Its terrifying to me that every moment you spend doing nothing is a moment you will never get back. I felt like I have matured faster than all of my friends. I am worrying about everything I shouldn't be worrying about. One of those being about death, my dad passed away when I was 10 and i felt like I haven't spent enough time with him, I regret not spending enough time and learning with him. I truly miss him deep in my heart but I sometimes cover up that feeling and never grasp my father's death, so I don't cry every 5 minutes. I have recently moved to the US and i cant have school for 2 months until I am a citizen of the US. I have barely went outside for the past 4 weeks, and I truly regret that. Any tips on how to start a RUclips channel? I am trying to get into drums. Turning to God and your channel is helping me go through this phase. Your channel is the only channel i truly want to subscribe and help. Thank you Niko.

I had same crashout xDD, but in some slime and witch trial chamber in overworld, Decided to start fully over, (ofc on the same world). placed all items in chest, destroyed the bed and died (i was like 3000blocks from spawn). Then I went 5000 blocks from spawn in the other direction. Found a nice tavern, huge open terrain and 2 mushroom islands, overall i would say its great to start over in forever world, leaving your old builds so one day you an revisit them.

for now make a nether base, store lots of TNT in the nether base, sneak around the whole bastion placing TNT and then boom, all of it, gone in seconds
