They can essentially be used as fences that mobs can get in but cannot get out of. The villagers wander in there, finding the trapdoors to be a valid route, and then they get stuck.
Heyy niko just a suggestion, you can make bundles out of leather and string, so you won't need to stop on a house and put all your inventory to a chest. I recently knew this item and GOSH it makes adventure 10x times easier. Anyways, love your vids especially the forever world series!! ❤🤩

Just an FYI.. 1hr 02m you can grab enchanted books from the new bookshelves. At 1hr 3m you broke the book shelves which filled your inventory with those enchanted books. They're mixed in with the standard bookshelves
