- Which Boxes are best to use for Poshmark shipping, you might wonder? Here's your answer! I go over which boxes I find most helpful while shipping out my Poshmark sales. This video directed to POSHMARK resellers since all sales made on Posh are Priority Mail (you can use flat rate or non/flat rate, it doesn't matter on Posh). BUT even if you aren't a reseller, you can still learn how to order FREE Shipping supplies from USPS that are delivered directly to your doorstep.

I never ended up posting how I use my printer to print directly onto the shipping label, but I basically just set my printer settings to 4x6", put the label in where the paper goes and adjust the slider, adjust the scale of the print to ~70% on my computer (will be different for each printer), and it print right on the label 😊 Hope that's helpful!

Hey Taylor, i dig the videos. Saw you on the iced coffee hour. I never thought i'd start watching videos on reselling clothes, but i occasionally sell things on eBay that i just don't need or want and found this video interesting. Looking forward to the video on how to use the printable labels using a regular printer....I am the guy who cuts 4 pieces of tape, prints the label, and tapes it to the box. Durf...a label would make life way easier. Good luck on your videos, you do a great job editing. Cheers!

You can’t beat the convenience of your supplies coming straight to your door too 💁♀️ that 1-3 week shipping time is SO TRUE too ugh. So it’s good to keep that in mind logistically throughout the month so you don’t run out 🥰🎉

Great video! I didn't realize you could get all that for free online. I send DVD movies in the mail at the post office to people I know sometimes. It costs me $6 each movie but I imagine at least half of that is weight thinking about how stamps are 52 or 55¢. They probably charge me $2 or $3 for the envelope for the DVD. Makes me wonder why they charge me for it. I didn't know about this.

You're so welcome! And good question! You can pick SOME of these up at the post office. They usually have small, medium (the side-loaded version, not the one I use), and large flat rate boxes out for grabs, as well as the tyvek envelope and sometimes 1-2 more options. However, ordering online gives you the FULL selection and it delivers right to your house so you don't have to make a special run for them. SO, if you plan ahead, this is the most convenient option :) You can find the links for all of my suggested items in my description!
Such a great video Taylor! 🤗🎉 Great job! I think it’s important to note that you *CAN* use any priority box or envelope with Posh (I totally didn’t know this until like 2 months into selling on there 😂) Posh has a contract worked out with USPS where it lets you use those flat rate boxes, regular priority, etc. It was confusing at first because normally you need to buy a specific label/postage to use a specific box (flat rate, padded FR, priority) because they equate to certain rates. Anywho, that’s my FAVORITE thing about posh that you can literally have FREE shipping supplies 🙌🙌🙌 tape is super cheap and most people have a printer or have access to one 👌 love love love that you did this video 🥰 Now if only Mercari would let us do the same thing 😭😭😭 Looking forward to your tip video on printing on the 4x6 labels! Just remember to let people know they can only use em on Posh (or on a priority shipped package on other platforms). Lol I got screamed at by a USPS worker one time for writing out the addresses on one of those priority mail labels and putting in on a first class package 🙄🤦♀️ had to take it off and re-do everything. What a pain 😂 Anywho, the way you package up your shipments is SO CUTE!!! Love your style girlll 💁♀️❤️

Also wish Mercari would have the same deal, although I love their 10% fee so I guess there's the tradeoff ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Also amazing tip on the labels!! I have to admit that I've printed on them even for first class mail for Mercari a few times but heard that it's common to run into issues with that (makes total sense) so probably not worth saving the extra time there. Aw so glad I could be helpful! YES. ANY priority mail boxes, including flat rate, can be used for Poshmark!! As long as your package is under 5lbs :) you can also use any regular brown cardboard box, leftover Amazon boxes boxes, etc. :)

2 bbw weigh is 14.5 with another candles it 14.5 with Mercari does it matter if I put only 14.5 oz can I just put 2 candles in one box

How much do you usually pay for shipping? just curious what your profit is after shipping costs?
Buyers pay for shipping on Poshmark ($7.11 flat fee for anything under 5lbs) unless I send a shipping discount, then Posh just takes that out of my earnings. For Mercari/eBay, it varies depending on weight. Anything under a pound is cheap- anywhere from $2 - 5.50 usually 😊

I just recently started selling and went to drop a package off at the post office the other day and the guy told me if I wanted to ship it in the box that I had it in (which was one of these boxes) that either I'd have to pay $16 or the buyer would be charged that upon delivery? Because it's a priority mail and flat rate box? Super confused.
He was incorrect! You can use ANY propriety mail box, including flat rate and regional boxes, for Poshmark shipping. It even says so at the bottom of each shipping label. You just can’t use “express” boxes. I just use the blue parcel drop off to ship my things

I was told not to use the USPS Priority FLATE RATE box.
You can use any priority mail boxes. Doesn’t matter whether or not they are flat rate for poshmark!
So I’ve used these small flat rate boxes several times before but today I went and the clerk said technically we aren’t supposed to. Has anyone else had this problem? I sweat every time they say something does or doesn’t work it’s so annoying. I’ll go 10-15 times without issues then I’ll get stopped and they say oh “well technically” blah blah so I’m just letting you know if you have a problem. So frustrating.

Yes, you can use any flat rate priority mail box for Poshmark, including priority mail regional rate boxes! I’m not sure what the rules were a few years ago ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Any priority mail box at all! Or even Amazon boxes/bubble mailers/brown cardboard you have laying around. As long as it’s under 5lbs

@@TaylorBell OMGOSH, she gave me a whole lecture on postal knowledge, so aggravating. Why they they not know this? Plus, I showed her on the email postal that it said we can send in flat rate priority mail boxes, and she told me that that means if only it in regional 1-9 and started to say probably poshmark gets flagged all the time because of this, but we wouldn't know it. So she gave me just a priority box for FREE thank God. I told her I've sent plenty of times through flat rate and she just stayed yeah. Like OK! That was the strangest thing.
