I was going to recommend Hoboken and JC as good spots for a new rentee (was my area for eight years).. 10 minute train ride by PATH into Midtown and WTC and cheaper rents (pre-CV), but now it seems NYC is super negotiable with high vacancy rates in the meantime.
Yess those are some great spots! Very true rent is slightly more reasonable as of late.. will probably make a video on places I look at and where I end up deciding :) thanks for these tips

I’m a management consultant there myself (director and owner of the company) there are so many opportunities there and so much to do Taylor in down time outside of work maximising a work/life balance. Everything from extreme sports, walking/hiking, usual sports like rugby, football, tennis, badminton, hockey, kayaking, canooing, get in touch when you’re heading there, I should be back there from UK 🇬🇧 and can show you round and/or introduce you to opportunities in consulting in New Zealand 🇳🇿

My favorite movie is a Japanese movie called Departures. It talks about the bias for undertakers, as well as life and death in a philosophical perspective with a series of stories. It was funny that when I got asked in an interview at school on my favorite film, I intended to say this movie but for some reason I said The Final Destination and told the interviewer the story of this Japanese movie lol

But in my country, I can tell you, no one cares. Ever. So, it's very frustrating for me, because I had straight A's. lol

Thank you Aryan!! Hahah noo worries. Fave part of the program was having a tight knit community since day 1. Not sure what the average GPA is, but I can say for myself that it was a little tough to adjust during my freshman year and then my grades improved a lot after the first year. I've heard that 3.5 is sort of a rough cutoff, but I'm sure some companies look at candidates with lower GPAs if they have other strong parts on their resumes so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Speaking out of experience, i really found it difficult to make connections with my co-workers virtually. Please don't let it happen with you. In a casual office setting you could walk up to someone and ask a doubt but now we should send mails / call them . But you get to save a lot of money . Any plans on investing in crypto ????
