She is very MECE and clear with her thought process in her answer about leaving consulting. No wonder she probably did an amazing case interview and is a consultant.

What is really nice about side hustles like eBay or You Tube is anybody can run these businesses from a back room apartment of a greasy spoon chicken shack in a small Texas town if you want to do so. Or you can do the same in Paris if you can afford it.
The question about will something matter in 10 years can be a very dangerous question. People have to endure a lot of boring and not enjoyable things in the sequence of events that people experience. But those things you may not think are important themselves may be very important in the sequence of events that may lead to things that could be very important in 10 years. Be careful what you pass by and go another route.
Good video! I hope you get to do RUclips full time someday if that's what you want. I hope your channel grows and grows. I watched both Iced Coffee Hour podcasts you were on and liked you in both and found you on here from there. : )
I’ve been working my way through all the episodes of the Iced Coffee Hour and just saw your episode. Great stuff! I’m glad to see you’ve come a long way since 402 subs lol. Anyhoo, I am now a proud new subscriber of yours 😁
Ahh thanks so much Jason! Hahah a long way from 402, it's crazy 😅 Going on the podcast gave me a great boost there in the beginning. Thanks so much for coming over and subscribing, happy to have you here!! 😊
Q & A always interesting. Now at the stage where the piano reveal just scores a 'thought so' haha! And I reckon pales in comparison to the Pilot skill set in an earlier video. That's just me. I hear what your saying about the RUclips full time gig but to be brutally honest you have soooo much going for you that it would be an under-achievement big time. Sure, do what makes you happy but President Bell would be a most welcome partner in our ANZUS alliance so there's that. Food for thought.
@@therapturedmichelle There are different levels to consulting. Typically, you start as a business analyst, progress to consultant, associate, engagement manager, junior partner and then senior/managing partner (that’s just the titles of McKinsey, but most big consulting firms have similar career progressions). Thus, Taylor is still a consultant, but she obviously helps the seniors that lead her team with gathering a lot of information and data regarding the case they’re working on. When you reach partner level, it’s more so bringing in clients that becomes the focal point rather than doing the “leg work”. But regardless of the level you operate at, you’re still classified as a “consultant”.
YT is a short-term gig. RUclipsr's either age out or lose interest. The biggest thing I have observed is that highly educated people do not value YT as a long-term "career". Seems like a fun side hustle but single people in their 20's.
Really found your advise on keeping a positive attitude helpful :) Also, TAYLOR!!! Did you get engaged? Couldn't help but notice the stunning ring hihi
Aww yay that makes me so happy to hear! Simple tips but they actually help me out a lot so figured I’d share 🤗 ahaha noo my mom gave me this ring and I keep it on my right hand- I’ll def do some big overdramatic post/video when that day comes 😂❤️
Hi there!! Would have to say spending time with friends and family-- not necessarily doing anything in particular, but those moments when I'm fully present :)
@@danielhricmail they make vlogs about their career, etc. When they get more subs they quit their day job and switch to doing youtube or social media full time. No hate, I'm just saying
Nice to see that you're finding time to enjoy yourself and do a bit of traveling. All work and no play is never truly productive so kudos on making the time for yourself. I've done bit of travelling but no big adventures yet. Still a bit gun shy I guess with everything going on. Hope to change that starting in 2022 so wish me luck! Anyway, looking forward to the Iceland report. May even need to start following u on IG so I can participate in a few surveys!!!😁😁😁

Good video! And 100% agree with the discussion about giving up full time/corporate job for side hustle/RUclips. Someday, maybe I'll take the leap.
Thank you so much!! Yep exactly, lots of things to consider before making the leap but I know it’s something a lot of us think about! 😊

Nice view on risk and reward of yt. People love to hear about success stories, but don't like to view stories of most who fail.

Great video, Taylor! Yes, I was going to ask you if you play the piano and Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata. lol ... Nice piano btw.!
Thank you!! Ahah that I do 😊
@@TaylorBell Cool! I play the piano as well and the trumpet. lol
Great video Taylor! I have made the like button turn blue. :)

Cool Q & A😎 I was totally going to ask if you play the piano😂
Thanks Nathan!! HAHA yup figured I’d get that Q answered before anyone asked 😉😂 thanks so much for watching!
The fact that you said “ take a step back” even before you joined consulting probably means you made the right career choice 😂😂
HA yeah that’s definitely been one of my catch phrases for awhile 😂

What camera & video editing tools do you use? Any tips?
Camera/mic are linked in the description! And I use Final Cut Pro to edit. Practice practice practice
